Hello, I'm a relatively new fan to anime, being introduced to it formally in early 2003. But a natural talent for diving headfirst with no thought to the consequences means that my interest and knowledge grow daily. As does my collection, in tandem with my shrinking pocketbook.

Most exciting thing to happen in My Otaku Life so far? FullMetal Alchemist and Peacemaker Kurogane getting picked up for official US release. I've watched both series in sub and I like to contrast the subs and dubs, translations can vary dramatically.

First anime? Well, discounting The Last Unicorn, it was the one used to introduce me to the wide wonderful world that is Anime -- Cowboy Bebop. Still an all-time favorite.
