Hello, All!
The weather is finally acting beautifully! This weekend was jam-packed with activity. Saturday was a my friend's son and daughter's birthday party. She had it in a park. She got the moom bouncy and a trackless train and there was popcorn and cotton candy! It was great! I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids.
The weather was extra nice on Sunday, Mother's Day. I took my Mom out for Brunch and a movie. We saw Van Helsing. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Hugh Jackman was looking good, as usual, so it wasn't a total loss. I am still full from all of that food!
Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there!

It's been a while...
I finally caught up with updating my personal stuff.
Work and school, this past week, were excruciatingly draining but I managed to finish projects for work and class.
My next class is HR Management. It shouldn't be too terrible; although the Dr. that teaches the class is very strict on how she likes things done. I'm pretty good at following the instructor's style and just getting done and getting the grade. Besides, the class is only 5 weeks long anyway.
I know this update is plain and boring but I haven't been out Salsa dancing or participating in any happy hours for the past week and a half. :-(
Hopeful I'll have something spicier the next time I post. ;-)

Life is very wonderful when you understand what you are able to control. It's hard for people to acquiesce to things they cannot control. I am a bit a control freak, myself, but learning to let go just lifts off a huge weight.
Always keep in mind it is very important to affect a positive change whenever possible. Just be sure not to waist your time struggling with situations that you have no control over. Remember that people have to want to change for themselves and when they do be there for them.
Okay, I'll step down from my soapbox now. I hope this message helps someone makes a positive change. :-)

Last night was Salsa night. It was great! I can hardly wait for next Thursday. The clubs deck will be open! Salsa on the deck will be so nice! I hope the weather doesn't spoil it. Salsa is much easier when you have a great partner.
Although being the strong independent woman I am it's hard for me to let him lead. ^_^

It rained on Easter. It's raining today. It's supposed to rain all week. :-(
It's just as well. I have homework projects to complete and miles to go before I sleep.
Not to mention the projects I took responsibility for at work. I really have to learn how to say, "No.", but I am doing my best to be a team player that thinks outside of the box. Which is hard when you're in a cubby-hole...I mean cubical all day. LOL! ;-)

Life is pretty wonderful...
Life is pretty wonderful when you are able to really see what is going on around you, take it all in and enjoy it!
I finished my finance class with a B+. I am a little upset with myself that I was not able to pull out an A. My cumulative GPA is down to 3.67. :-(
Oh well, cest la vie!
Enough of that!
The weather is finally starting to warm up! :-) It will be barbeque time soon. I can't wait. I love get-togethers.
Otakon 2004 is coming up as well. That will be one of the many fabulous highlights of the summer. If I'm good, and don't spend a whole bunch of money that I don't have, then I am going to go back to the Bahamas with friends around September or October.
Well, that is all for now.

The Home Stretch
The finance class I'm in has been kicking my a$$. Tomorrow is the last class. I'll be happy if I pull a "B" out of it. I'm in the home stretch with classes but my motivation is waning. At least I'll get to go party in Philly this weekend. It's been a long while. I'm due for a little libation.
I won't be able to put together the costume I wanted to wear for Otakon. I'm not going to enter the costume contest this year. I am going to dress up like the Kuro Neko from Trigun. It's a fun easy thing to be.
I am ready to return to the Bahamas. If I get my school out of the way I just might treat myself this summer. Maybe that will improve my motivation.
Anyway, as always, ja ne!

I am back!
I just returned from a trip to Grand Bahama Island. It was wonderful! I am definitely going back. As soon as I pay off this trip and save enough for another. ;-)
It's finally getting warm. I'm sure around August I'll be wishing it was cooler. I am starting the work on my costume for Otakon 2004. I hope I can make it look detailed enough to win!
That is it for now. -Ja ne!

What I am Up To
I wanted to post something but I wasn't sure what to write. Latley, I've just been working and going to class. Going out isn't as much fun in the Winter. You have to bundle up, take it all off then put it all back on. This is a challenge after drinking and dancing for 3 hours. We usually end up leaving our coats in the car and just running to the door but then we end up with runny noses the morning after. Summertime is a much better time to "get-ya party-on". Isn't that what the kids are saying these days? LOL!
