I failed. T_T Oh, I guess this will be the day I update each week. ^^;; Sorry guys. I might update on other days if I have really good news. o.o Um...well... 6th grade had a volleyball game today. It was fun to watch Alex play. ^0^ Too bad his team lost. ;_; It wasn't really fair though. The staff team they were playing against had power players. And they kept like hitting it too far back behind them. >_> Nothing else really interesting happened this week, so this is a pretty short post. Uh...there's only like 2 more weeks until school is over!!! I can't wait for 7th grade!! Whooo!!!! And when we get to go around the school signing yearbooks, I'll get to tell Alex. ^^ Well, if he isn't with his friends. >_> I couldn't do it last year, but me and my best friend, we were walking by him. It went like this: Alex: Hey Ashley! *something, something, something* Me: What? Alex: What? Me: What? Alex: What? Me + friend: WHAT?! Man, that was funny. XDDDD Too bad my friend isn't here this year. ;_; She moved to New York. But I have another best friend, but all of the Sports Boys think she's wierd/crazy. XD I'll tell her if she sees me walking with Alex, to go find the rude person and bother her. Perfect plan right? XDDDDD Well, that's pretty much it....OH!!! On like the last day of school, we get to go to Valleyfair!!! 6th graders only, it starts at like 8:30 am, to 7 pm!!!! WHOO!!! And we also get a slide show thing of us when were were little and then now!!! I look so cute as uh....uh...little kid. XD We might have to sit in ABC order too. o.o I'd get to sit next to Alex! Yay! ^^ *cough* Okay, well here's the pictures I found today.                  Isn't that picture of Misty pretty? Melody? May? Hah, they all start with M. XD I think May's cute, and pretty, so is Misty, but she has nice clothes ya know what I'm saying? I wish the people who like them would get alone. Misty fans, and May fans. @_@ But all they do is fight for Ash. >_> Or make the two girls fight for Ash. |

Kawaii...ALEX!! ^0^
Hello. I haven't been here all week have I? ^^;;; Sorry about that. I wasn't really in the mood to come on the computer at the time, though I always was...o.o I'm such a lazy person...@_@ But yeah...hi guys!!!!! XDD
So anyways, it was a pretty normal week, but someone sent me this email, I thought it was pretty cool. o.o And freaky. ^^;;; I can't put it here because it would get all messed up and stuff. But if you guys want me to send it to you I can. Just put your email address in your comments please! :)
I said in my earlier post that we were having a puppet show for reading, well my group does. ^^; We have all the puppets ready, on chopsticks and stuff. But we kinda need to practice. We got a half hour today to do so. Only our brains behind the project wasn't here. ;-; We had to wait for her for 20 minutes. It was actually kinda fun when she got back. We started rehearsing. My other friend was the dentist dude. So when Katie, the brains wasn't looking she'd bend the doctor and be all like "BOW FLEX!" And the Vietnamese boy was nearby us. He kept screeching at us because he was supposed to be Stuart. XD So then this other kid came by with their huge cardboard triangle canoe. He's all like "watch out, here comes my pet." Then Stuart tried to help him, but ran sideways carrying the boat, and ran into someone else, and crashed the cardboard into a circle of desks. It was so funny!! XDDD
After reading we had Planting Day, which was only for today, for this year. Glad I'm one of the 6th graders that got to make the school look somewhat pretty. Though I thought they should've added a border to the trail covered with mulch. It'd keep all of it inside. Instead of when everyone stepped on it going out of range and stuff. @_@ My dad should've came and helped, though he'd probably keep me away from following Alex or something. Or say to stay out of the mud. >_> Meh. It was pretty good I guess. Later on when we got a second chance to go outside and help. I got to follow Alex put mulch on the path. He's all like "where's the high part?" Then we went down the path down like a little hill or something. The teacher found us there. He asked her where the high part was. She said we were just at the high part, so since he was pushing a wheel barrow around. We had to turn around and go back up the hill. We waited up there for awhile, and watched Brody (another sport boy, AKA another one of Alex's friends) skip around down there and fall on his face. It was like he was a puppet falling because his strings were loose. XDD He fell 2 times. ^^;;; Alex, me and my friend were laughing so hard. Earlier, the first time we came out I got stuck in the mud, so Alex was nearby and got me out...but when I got out my shoes were all muddy. ;_; Good thing I wasn't wearing my slip ons. If I'd have fallen, and he tried to get me up, he'd probably would've fallen along with me. XD If he did, he'd probably have fallen face first into the mud. ^^;;; Which would've been a funny thing. I'd probably get my clothes dirty though....that would have been a good chance to tell him. T_T Meh, I had so much fun today I almost gave Alex my number and told him to call me later today. ^^;;;; I AM SO OUTGOING!!! Well with him. But of course I knew him for 3 years. Kyuu...Hah, I keep making so many character sounds. ^^;;;;
We played Fruits Basket at school. I was Kisa/Yuki. I made my friend be Ayame. She's a girl by the way. XDD And this one boy named Austin was Akito. Also we had another boy named Adam be Shigure, when we played Inuyasha he was Miroku. XDDD Yes, we play a lot of anime at school. ^^;; Well my friend says Akito Akeo...>_> Which is my last name Keo. So the kids said things like "I've only known her for that long...o.o" Or "Whoa, Austin, I didn't know you were going out with Ashley!" Alex looked a bit annoyed though. ^^ I was gonna scream at them "ITS AKITO DAMMIT!!!" They would've been so freaked out. Mwahahahaha!!!! *cough*
While we were planting and stuff. My friend Marina ran into a tubby kid named Kevin, she thought he was Chuckie from the horror movies. XDD So when we went outside, Kevin was holding a rake. Marina was like "OH MY GOD!!! CHUCKIE'S GOT A RAKE! I BET HE KILLED SOMEONE WITH IT! LOOK AT THAT RED ON IT! ITS BLOOD!!!! RUN AWAY!! ASHLEY HIDE ME!!! That was so funny. XDD Also I was on TV. o.o I won't be here tonight, I'll post my update right now. I hope you guys will be here to see it. It took me awhile to type all of this up. ^^;;;; And remember what was going on all day. I'll be back on Sunday to update! Yay!! Too bad I'll be spending my whole weekend there. >_>

She's like a freakin cat!-Ed
Hello everyone! Hm..I'm not really in a good mood or a bad mood right now. I'm just neutral. But just the slightest thing can change it. Hehe. ^^;; How has everyone been? That quote was from last night's FMA...well Saturday's FMA. @_@
Its raining today, my room's so hot....that's what I hate about a PC. It heats up the room...and I don't have a fan....April rain's coming kinda late...its already May...there's lighting outside, and thunder. Its so loud the ground rumbles. o.o
On Thursday we ran the mile. I did worse than I did in the fall. 13:15 T_T That's like 1 minute and 4 seconds off....Alex probably got a one digit number....The worst time of the two 6th grade classes was 20:21..I didn't think somebody could be that bad. o.o
I got to miss the music day on Friday, yes!! But I'm kinda confused about this week. @_@ Do we have music on Monday or PE? I wanna go to PE, they're playing tennis, I love tennis!!!! But I love Alex even more!!!! XDDD Mehehe...oh...well um on that Tales music I "mysteriously" gave to the music teacher, nobody listened to it yet. T_T I don't even know if the cd works. I made a second copy of my burned copy...@_@
Also on Friday we only had 2 subjects Reading (which I loathe), and math (which I also loathe). In reading we have to do some kind of performance for a book we read. I read Stuart Little, which was forced on me to read. >_> So we're doing the part when he goes to the dentist guy and gets the car. We're like doing a puppet show, I'm not so good at drawing at school for some odd reason. o.o So, I can't really do anything right now, I have to wait for the RUDE PERSON to finish drawing the characters. Good thing this is like the only thing left we need to perform for the year. The only thing that worries me is my promise I made to talk a lot on the last day of school, which I really wish I didn't make that promise. >_> And music games....well pretty much any games that we play at school. They all suck.
I went to my cousin's house on Friday too, we played Super Smash Bros, and Tales of Symphonia like always, I was fighting with Pikachu against my cousin who used Fox. Two of my cousins live in the same house. So the younger one fell asleep, we played SSB, And We had my sister on my team which was really bad, and Captain Falcon on level 9, then me and my older cousin. We were the only two left, 1 life each, also we were both in the 100%s, so we were trying to use the charge up like smash A button attacks and a control stick. We were at like..um...what's it called...its Ness's home town. Something England...I can't remember. @_@ But he got smacked around by cars like 7 times or something. XDD That's pathetic. So I smacked him around some more, and he like bounced off a house and a car was coming, so he died. XDDDD Funny way to die huh? Also we went over to their house today, and played SSB again, My younger cousin was Marth, and he like had a Super Scope or whatever it was, my older cousin was Fox again, so Marth charged up the thingy, and shot it at Fox, Fox used the reflector and it was shot back at Marth, and he died. XDDDDDD It was so funny!!! I laughed so hard my face started to hurt. In the end my younger cousin one. Pretty pathetic.
On Saturday we went to a party, and at the table "Fox" had really bad grades, so they were teasing him about how he looked like he was part of a gang and stuff. He's all like "That's because I'm unique!" He was the one sticking out since he had highlights in his hair...I might look better with highlights too...though I don't know what my friends or Alex would think of me. @_@ I especially wouldn't want Alex to think wierldly of me. They said if he got either an A or B they'd give him $100....if he said that to be I'd be so rich right now, and I'd go on a shopping spree at Best Buy and Borders...
I'm poor right now!! T_T I used my money on Manga today, I only have like $28 left....now I have to do chores...anyway. The anime and manga I got today was DN Angel volume 4 on DVD, Chrono Crusade 5 on DVD, and for mangas, I got Wedding Peach volume 2, Imadoki Nowadays, and Lagoon Engine! ^_^ Though I don't have anywhere to put my anime and manga anymore. @_@ I need a bookcase or something...If I had a digital camera or a scanner I'd show you pictures of my collection. Or my room.
I started a new story on Friday. =3 There's only like 10 pages or so. But Its a shojo story like always. XD I'm a Pokemon Co-ordinator, and I put Alex into the story too!!! Suu....*acting like Misha* Hehe. ^^;;; I couldn't think of a name for him, so I named him Yuukei for the time being...I was thinking of Brenday/Ruby from Pokemon at the time...so yeah...
I'm into year 2 of Harvest Moon right now. Got a wife and a kid. I named him Jimmy. XD I'm not making very much money either...my cow's pregnant, and its been over 40 days, it can't Ygive me any milk. T_T I have to depend on my chickens. They gave me a fertilized egg like 2 days later, and I sold the other eggs. I'm buying another female cow so I can get milk while the other is pregnant. Smart right? XDD Though it docked me 4000. >_> Man. Animals are expensive...
Well, I don't want to keep you here for too long, so I'll say...well I'll probably only be around on like Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. I'll be around to comment sometimes though.

Um...I'm addicted again!
As you can see, I changed my layout once again. ^^;;; But I was really in the mood. It was going to be ToS, or Kingdom Hearts, but I didnt' know much about KH, so I didn't use that, and I already did some ToS layouts, Pokemon didn't get its premier yet. ^^; So here it is. Well, its more of artwork by Pokemon artists, so I'll give credit here.

Um, at school todaymy friend talked to me about girls stuff. She's like my "girl" friend. Its actually pretty fun talking to her like that. ^^
Tomorrow we have to do Eagle Club, its like a school wide thingy with a bunch of activities and stuff, we also have Good Behavior Celebration, which is just what it says. For Eagle Club I have to work with a little 2nd grader on a Diamonte Poem. Its already fun, but I don't really wanna work with a little kid. >_> Even if I barely know them its still pretty unfun working with them. Hope it finishes early.
On Thursday we have to run the mile. T_T Man....and then the next day we have to play a music game. Usually games are fun, but at my school, I like hate all games. They're annoying, oh, and also tomorrow we have to start the Olympics. I'm a Spartan for those of you who studied Greece. To put it simply, its the meanies. That's like the opposite of me, we had to make a chant, a pledge, and a flag...we also need arm bands or something....should've traded with that boy....would've been an Athenean. I would've been on Alex's team, and be with my friend which is the only girl. I'll just tell you....the boys keep talking about reproducing. "We've got to reproduce somehow." That's what she told me. They wouldn't be talking like that if I were there. Since I'm such an outcast.
I'm so thankful I have you guys her at MyO. ^_^ Those of you that come and visit. ^^; But then some others just don't have time to log on and update and everything. I don't even visit some of you, which makes me feel kinda bad. ;_; You shouldn't need to visit me if I don't see you.I'm still glad that you do though. ^0^ All of these smiles are reminding me of the Harvest Moon character. @_@ Which I'm addicted to. ^^; Uh, not to the character, but the game. ^^;;; Um, well I'll see you all later then.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, I've been kinda lazy. >_> Okay, um well I feel really sick, I have this wierd taste in my mouth, my throat is dry and it hurts, and I have a headache. @_@ I'm afraid to eat anything now. >_> *eats string cheese* Um, this isn't too bad. ^^;
I slept over at my cousin's house on Friday, he was sick unfortunately, so I think that's where I got this, whatever it is. He wasn't really in the mood to do anything, so I just kinda sat there um...watching things...^^; We played ToS for a little while, and slept or something.
On Thursday I went to the Jr. High I'm supposed to go to next year. We got lost. @_@ It'll take me more than 5 minutes to get to class I know that. I get to bother my cousin. Mwahahahahaha.... But he mostly annoys me though. He bothered me on IM today though. >_>
Shots, they hurt more than they did last time I got them. >_> I almost only got one, but then they talked about another one, so I had to get 2...>_> My arms were like paralyzed or something. They still hurt today too. Gosh.
On Saturday I went to the dentist. The doctor and dentist in the same week, I know. But my mom asked if I needed braces, they checked up on me, and apparently I didn't. That's good. @_@
Later that day, we went shopping without my sister for once. She went to her friend's house. Um, we went to Cub, and I got my anime magazine like I normally do. ^^;; Its called Beckett Anime Collector. My favorite parts in it are called Anime Amour which is like an article about anime couples, I got one on Pokeshipping! ^0^ Uh, but this month's issue is about Sango and Miroku. Their art is pretty good, but I know people who could do a better drawing for it.
DUDES. GO TO ADULTSWIM.COM AND PLAY THE FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST GAME. NOW!!!
There's also an article on the top animes/something like an anime for 2005, there's Avatar, the last Airbender, Fullmetal Alchemist (DUH!), Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, Naruto (its not out yet, but its coming in the fall! w00t!) Hah, its already on the Top list!, One Piece, W.I.T.C.H, Zatch Bell...and that's it...
Is anybody gonna get the FMA cards? o.O;; I wanna get them so badly!! But I have to wait....OOOHHHH!!!! There's a Case Closed trading card game too!!!! I GOTTA GET THAT TOO!!!! *swoons over all the trading cards*

TOP 5 SHORT CHARACTERS
Who are you calling shrimp?
There are many vertically challenged animce characters. For some, heigh plays a key role in there personality, their development, and their interactions with others. Many people tend to think that short characters can't be leaders or popular, but the following short characters are proof that you can't judge a book by its cover.
Ed-Fullmetal Alchemist
Although he is taller than the other characters on this list, Ed is probably the most popular character at the moment. At about 5'3", he's shorter than most of the other characters in Fullmetal Alchemist. The other characters in the series enjoy making fun of him and calling him "shrimp." Whenever this happens, Ed always overreacts and is overwhelmed by a goofy, but deadly form of rage.
Krillin-Dragon Ball Z
Throughout the Dragon Ball series, we see krilling grow up with Goku. As they get older, Goku keeps growing and Krillin, well, doesn't. He's a little self conscious about his height (or lack thereof), but what he lacks in height, he makes up for in strength. He might be short, but Krillin is one of the strongest human warriors. Be careful not to underestimate him.
Ryoma-Prince of Tennis
In relation to his age, Ryoma isn't exactly short. However, as the youngest member of Seigaku tennis regulars, its easy to see why he appears short. Many of his teammates call him "ochibi," meaning something like akin to "kiddo" in Japanese. Much to Ryoma's annoyance, his seniors like to hug him because of this small size. From time to time, they even use his head as an armrest.
Yugi-Yugioh
Compared to his friends, Yugi is lacking in the height department. Because of his small stature, many people have trouble believing that he is really the king of games. But with the help of an ancient Egyptian pharoh that lives in a puzzle he wears around his neck, he's able to get a little taller. However, Yugi is still a short boy.
Usagi-Sailor Moon
At first glance, you might ask why Usagi is on this list, but she's only 4'11". Lukily for her, she's still young, and has some growing to do. Futhermore, the added bonus of short friends, meatball-hair and high-heeled boots make Usagi taller than she really is.
DUDE, she's shorter than me. o.O;; Man, that is short...I'm 5'0" Its true about Ed being the most popular though. ^^;; Well, to me anyways.
That's all for the magazine, but on to Target! *travels like a gameboy character* Yes, well I got 2 games from there. Gamecube games. Animal Crossing, and Harvest Moon, they're both awesome games. ^^ Well, I'm more attracted to Harvest Moon though, it's really fun, you get to be a farmboy! XD Well besides that you get to grow crops, meet people, take care of animals, make a buisness, and have a family. I'm looking forward to the family the most. ^^ Right now I'm engaged to Celia, the um...we'll call her the girl next door. She's really sweet, and cute. Its the fall season right now, almost a year...I wanna get to chapter 2!!!! @_@
Tomorrow we might have to run the mile if its nice...and I might need to go to school...I don't wanna go, but who does, the only reason that's making me want to go is because then I'll have to run the mile by myself if I'm absent. Last thing for today, my friend has Pokemon Emrald on the computer, maybe I can get it from him. ^^

Um...well I was working on my site yet again. So there's not much difference there. But I did do quite a bit of graphics over these two days, you can check out a few at my site, there's just some banners to link me. ._.
I've been listening to Starry Heavens again. ^^;; I really wish the US version of ToS kept that song. I almost memorized the entire song! o.O;; I still need to work on Soshite Boku Ni Dekiru though....uh did I even spell that right? @_@
While I'm typing this, my friend's giving me Tales of Phantasia on SNES. The GBA version didn't work, so he gave me this one instead. I just hope this one works...I almost got Tales of the World on the GBA version too...and a couple others, but MSN wouldn't transfer it fast enough. >_>
DUDE. I got new shoes. They're okay, kinda heavy, bulky, and sometimes uncomfortable, and make my feet sore. Tomorrow I'm definitely wearing my tennis shoes....especially since the mile run is tomorrow...STILL don't have much confidence in myself. >_> In Jr. High there's even more mile running isn't there? Me hates running. >_>

Wowwie...
Hi everyone! ^-^ When was the last time I update? Um, right, well I was at my cousin's house for the weekend so I couldn't do much online. ^^;;;; I've had some fun I guess...only I'm spending my weekend at my cousin's house each weekend. >_>
I made a site! Its not done yet, but I like how it turned out so far. ^^;; But I used Faroe's layout. >_< Sorry Faroe! I hope you can forgive me! I'll try to customize it as much as I can.
Strawberry Night
Can you believe I did all of this today? o_o I started at like 10 am today...well sometime before 11. ^^;;; I spent a bit of the day finding some brushes and fonts to work with.
Um, not much happened the other days...Gah..I forgot everything that's happened, so I can't say much. >_< We uh, played video games at my cousin's house. Has anyone played Mystic Heroes before? Its an okay game, but the characters are kinda slow. The other game we played was Tales of Symphonia again. ^^;
At school tomorrow, I'm thinking we have to run a practice mile at school....I hate the mile. I'm always so slow compared to everyone... >_> And then Alex is watching me finish up the mile....I'm computer girl, and nobody can change that! The only sport I'd concider playing would've probably been Tennis, or Basketball...well basketball's kinda questionable right now. I just like playing it at school....unless its a game. Then no, I hate playing it. And then we have morning meetings...I'm stuck sitting with 3 boys in my class...our Social Studies unit is Ancient Greece. Since I'm in Elementary we're doing like the olympics or something....I don't want to play...I'd rather do paper work...well actually I always like doing paper work so nothing different there...Meh, I just hope I live...thought 6th grade was going to get good..now it just got worse...GOSH.
Well, I guess I'll see you guys some other time then...

Today's Story
Wowwie...
I have one friend....and a boyfriend. And that's it.
Yeah...I do. All I have left. I used to have 3 friends before, but nope...one left because he wanted to see more friends that were boys, one was the rude one. >_> And the other is my friend, she's an anime friend of mine....she let me borrow a lot of animes too.

You didn't really believe me did you? ._. Heh, I wish. Yeah, I really do of course. XDD Hm...oh that rude friend wanted me to be friends again. >_> SO yeah..I'm back to 2 friends, and no boyfriend like always. ^^; I was so close...I wonder why I didn't do it...hah, I'm always wonder now. ^^;;;
Okay, um we finished the math portion of the test. No we didn't get anything either. It was pretty easy, except I don't like to do the written response questions. >_> Me don't like explaining. Then there were times when things were too wordy. Other than that, its easy. Oh, every time I finished a portion of the test that we were supposed to do, I started reading, then I put my forehead down on the desk and the book on my lap, nobody could see my face, that was good since I was sleeping. ^^;;; I stayed up pretty late, like 1 am or something. Hehe...I know I was supposed to get a good night's sleep, but I didn't. For some reason whenever I do the opposite of something somebody says I do better. o.O;; Like for a test. I don't study, and I get a better grade than I do when I do study. ^^; Then I can pay more attention on something with less sleep. I'm such an interesting person...maybe not. ^^;; I'm just odd.
Tomorrow and Friday, we have the reading session of the test. I don't get to watch Alex test in either class. T_T Why did we have to be equal in intelligence. I'd at least like to be in his math class...or maybe not...his teacher isn't all that nice. She spazzes a lot. AND she's a racist. Um...right...I don't know now...
Um, my friend let me borrow all the episodes of Chobits, bu it only goes up to like episode 6 or something...that's only like more than 1/4 right? Meh, I'm loosing my mind. @_@ I guess its entertaining...I always get the short end of the stick. ALWAYS.

Today's Story

w00t! State Testing!!! ^_^ Warning: This is NOT sarcasm o.O;;
Okey dokey, I'll just start saying....ITS FREAKIN' HOT!!! Yep yep, that's all I needed to get out. XD I'm serious though. Its hotter than it was yesterday. T_T There is a light breeze though...its too light though...it burns in the hot air. Another thing is that my computer gives off heat too....Gah...Okay, so back to buisness.
We have MCA testing tomorrow. I love state tests like these. ^_^ Yes, I think its a bit odd... but I'm one of those people who love to test...um not to learn. XD We don't get as many snacks as we did last time though. >_> ONE Jolly Rancher per day or something...that WON'T last forever. What are those state people thinking?! Sheesh, it makes me wonder how they became part of the important education state people. Stats, well we have 4 math parts, and 4 reading parts, both 90 minutes each...or was it 8 parts....meh...but the more learning time it takes up the better.
My friend's so rude...you know I that one I was talking about earlier? Yeah, well we're not friends ANYMORE. We're only forced to sit next to eachother in reading because we have assigned seats. Other than that, she's alway in the between me and my other friend's anime conversations. And you're calling me rude huh?! I'm probably the one who doesn't want to be friends anymore. She's just trying to fight back. How pathetic.
Yesterday, I was looking for the .hack//DUSK theme as usual, didn't come across anything...but I did find this site that had the last unaired episode...I downloaded it, but it didn't work...>_> There was only audio, no video. That means I have to go downstairs to download and watch it again. Shugo sounds cute like always, so does Rena. Cartoon Network didn't show the ending for some stupid reason, so like Shugo and Rena came back somehow. o_O;;
I heard there's going to be a new .hack manga coming out...or is already out. But if I find it I'm going ot buy it. Anything .hack is good. ^^ Okay, well SIGN kinda bored me because there was so much talking, no offense to the SIGN lovers.
Does anybody know when Naruto's going to premiere on CN? I wanna watch it so badly!!! Or does anybody know where I can download a few eps...? Oh, that reminds me. I found this one site where you could have your name in like the Naruto logo's in, so here's a few...yes, that is my name, and Alex's is under it.

My friend saw the Tsubasa anime, so she told me where I could download it too, I'll watch it soon...*coughSyoranlookslikeanoldmancough* Yeah...I just love that one picture of Yusuke, and Keiko. ^_^ Such a cute couple....whoa...looks like....just like Recca and Yanagi. o.O;; *makes note for anime comparison*
Tomorrow I have to go to a Jr. High meeting thing...but if I don't actually have to be there, I got to the kid's room where they're watching a movie or something...I might bring a manga or the Harry Potter book...I'm more than half way! w00t~! Mid tri isn't until this Wednesday! Um, is that a good thing? Meh, I might have to read at home. T_T I read manga, not books full of words. Well manga-novels are an exception. XD
