LOL, my bad...
The final race is being shown tonight. And TS, that wouldn't have been to late. Olympic coverage usually goes intil midnight. Those jerks usually don't even start showing swimming until 9:00 PM...
I will have my fingers crossed for Ryan.
Eamon's race was last night and he got silver.

Go for the gold, sexy men!!!!!!
LOL. I have been obsessively been watching Olympic swimming. I am way excited to watch Eamon Sullivan race tonight. I am even more excited to watch Ryan Lochte's chance to beat Michael Phelps. I texted Jillian that "I will pee my pants and jump up and down if Ryan wins!" Poor Jillian will cry if Phelps loses, but I think somebody else deserves to win for a change. Ryan Lochte is an amazing swimmer and deserves to bring home an individual event gold. So tonight I will be glued to NBC's evening Olympic coverage...as usual.
LOL I will probably walk for a long time this afternoon to make the wait go by faster. I have been listening to my Basshunter CD when I walk ever since I've gotten back from Germany. Quite...obsessively actually. I keep saying to myself,"Tomorrow I will listen to another CD." But I find myself craving Basshunter. His music gets me really pumped up when I walk. LOL It might be a few weeks before I can bring myself to listen to anything else.
Which brings me to an interesting conclusion. I think Ryan Lochte would win against Michael Phelps more often if he would listen to Basshunter before he swims. Especially melodies like "I am Your Bass Creator" would get him really pumped...Well if he's into techno, but I know it would get him fired up. Maybe I will mentally channel Basshunter towards him. YEAH! BASSHUNTER AND POSITIVE ENERGY!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (etc....)

Meh
I'm starting to get used to the time and stuff but I think it'll take awhile to get over the culture shock. At moments I feel angry and hostile around some of the people here.
I had fun last night. Spent the night at Erin's. We burned a bunch of stuff. Then when I woke up in the morning her family started really getting on my nerves. They can't help the way they are but I just couldn't stand it anymore so I left right after breakfast.
It'll take a while. Or maybe never. I mean I was never that thrilled with living here ever. At least I have college to look forward to. I am going to apply early so we can have an early financial estimate. I finally decided what I wanted to do with my life. Pretty much my whole senior year will just be college prep for me.
LOL you guys can just ignore my ramblings. I am really excited about the Olympics. Watching sports is one of my favorite things. My favorite atheletes give me courage when I am in miserable situations in my life. God, I'm trying to not be so serious.
Oh well, here are some pics of hot guys.
Eamon Sullivan-Australian swimmer
Bastain Schweinsteiger-German soccer player
Ryan Lochte-American swimmer (And not as overrated as Michael Phelps!)
LOL I just realized that they are all shirtless in the pictures I put up.
I can't wait to see you on Monday, TS!

Back in the USA
I'm back!!! The trip was amazing and fun. I really didn't want to go. But I am happy to see my friends and my birds again. I got a neat German flag for my car window. And a lot of nice clothes. I will be working on getting my pics on the computer and on disc at TS's this afternoon.
Getting home was quite the ordeal. My mom had called the day before we were supposed to leave Germany and everything was fine. Then the next morning we are standing in line at Frankfurt International Airport, ready to check our luggage in with American Airlines, and an airport worker approaches us. She tells us that the American Airlines Flight to Chicago was cancelled!!!!! The airplane never left Chicago the night before and thus it can't take us there. Why didn't it leave??? Mechanical problems. The same thing happended in Chicago when we left to go to Germany, but they put us on a replacement plane two hours later... This time we found out that all of the flights going ANYWHERE in the continental United States where completely booked solid! American Airlines was pretty much backed up... Under normal circumstances they would have put us on a flight with the German airline, Luftansa...But they are still recovering from their workers going on strike and most of their international planes are still grounded.
Everyone calls it Fraport (FRAnkfurt airPORT.)
Pretty much the only thing they could do was to send us to London on a British Airways airplane. So we went to London. It was an easy one hour flight. It was pretty interesting seeing London even if I only got to see a little bit of it. American Airlines payed for our hotel room and we got food and bus vouchers. The hotel was really nice and it would have been really expensive if we had to pay for it ourselves. I had fish and chips for dinner...And the waitress asked me if I wanted vinegar for my fish and chips. It was so hard not to laugh. I called TS from the hotel letting her know that I wouldn't make it to her house on Tuesday. Her dad sounded scared when the operator asked him if he would pay for the call... LOL
So the next morning we took the bus back to London Heathrow Airport. I started feeling quite ill. The employees were kind of mean, probably because we checked in for our boarding passes in the business class line and we were flying in economy class (aka the reject part of the plane.)
Grr London Heathrow...
So we finally got to Chicago. It was a rough flight. It was fun talking to the nice German people next to us though. It is kind of weird but what I've noticed through my travels (I'm not being racist but this is just what I've noticed.) is that British women tend to be more edgy and touchy travelers. American women tend to be more patient when things go bad. British men are more laid back and are usually thinking about things that have nothing to do with travelling. American men are the most aggressive travelers and they complain a lot. German travelers tend keep to themselves (and people may see them as distant) but are usually nice if you need help. Japanese travellers are always checking out all of the sights around them, they are window and people watchers, quiet and patient observers. Muslim women (the cloaked kind) tend to act paranoid. Muslim men act as if they feel awkward in unfamilar settings. And of course business men and women of any nationality are always on their phone when on the ground or on their laptop when in the air. The way airport workers act also depends on where you go. At a small national airport anywhere, the workers are more laid back because less travellers means less stress. Chicago O'Hare is a big airport with a lot of people but it is nearly impossible to get lost there and the staff is still friendly, going through customs there is a hassle though. Frankfurt is another big airport, it is more confusing to find your way around than O'Hare but I think the people that work in Frankfurt are some of the nicest people I've never met...Maybe it just seems that way to me because I understand German and I have a thing for young German men. Anyway...London Heathrow was the most confusing airport I've ever seen...It is huge- a ten minute bus ride to get from one terminal from another. And London Heathrow has some of the snobbist workers I've ever incountered. EVER! They need to get over themselves...British people themselves are nice, but the people who work at the airport need a chill pill.
Anyway in Chicago, we pretty much had to run to get on our Cedar Rapids flight on time. I accidentaly pushed this British woman out of the way and she was pissed. I ended up in a line next to her later and she told me "doun't evah poosh me againe." (don't ever push me again) And I just thought what a snob. She must have lived a really sheltered life. It's called international airports are always busy and people don't have time to wait for Miss Delicate to slowly walk by, especially when they have under an hour to go through security and catch a connecting flight!!!! So her high and mighty attitude ticked me off.
Luckily the workers in Chicago are nice as I said and let us through security faster when they saw what time our flight was leaving. We made the flight. YAY!!!!! There were these two British guys behind us on the plane that were extremely entertaining. They seriously thought that the plane was going to land in a cornfield!!! That was so amusing.
So I made it back home a bit after five in the evening. I slept for 12 hours and I'm starting to feel normal again.
YAY!!!!! KawaiiMelody out!!!! ^_^

Hasta luego!
We're leaving on Monday for Germany. This will probably be my last post until I come back.
I was hypnotized today. It's pretty cool. I felt great afterwards. I never remember being so refreshed in my entire life.
I am so pumped up for the trip! I am super duper excited because Jillian is letting me borrow her digital camera for my trip. And that memory card holds over 700 pictures. I'm going to take so many random pictures. I'm almost more excited for taking the pictures than the trip. Almost. So yayness!!!!!! CAMERA TRIGGER HAPPY!!!!! I already got the hang of it. I practiced shooting video of Mr. Squirty. LOL!!!!
TOTALLY PUMPED UP!!!!!!!
Here's a hot guy to look at until I get back. (It is my fav tennis player! The gorgeous Rafael Nadal!)

Ha ha ha ha
I just lost everything I typed. That's okay!
I'll just talk about the Euro cup. It was awesome seeing Spain vs Germany. Both of the teams had really hot guys!!!! The only goal scored was awesome. This Spanish guy kicks the ball and jumps over the goalie who had fallen to the ground.
Here is something for TS!!! LOL!!!

So humid. My dress is sticking to my back...
I'm so pumped up! I will get to watch the final Euro Cup match on Sunday. (Spain v. Germany!!!!)
Sleepover w/ Jillian the day before yesterday was awesome. We watched the Il Divo DVD. We realized Carlos has a talking eyebrow and a singing eyebrow. (Don't ask, it's creepy.) She showed me some old school Final Fantasy games. Those would take a lot of patience to play. We played this other game. I forgot what it was called. It was the first RPG for PS2. The main guy's name was mouse and his weapon was a talking guitar. At one point Jillian and I both randomly sung "Man on the Run" at the same time-not knowing the other was going to sing it. LOL!!!
After dinner we moved into my room and played Final Fantasy 12 for a long time. OMG TS, you should've been there. We started speaking with British accents and couldn't stop (because of Balthier.) and we also couldn't stop cracking Dr. Cid jokes. We are still talking about it. LOL. At one point I was laughing so hard I was gasping for air and tears were flooding my face. I was in the middle of eating an ice cream bar and it was melting but I couldn't eat it because of my laughing attack. OMG. Good stuff.
Before bed we watched Jane Eyre. I kept saying what I would've of done instead of Jane. Which mostly consisted of raping secondary male characters.
The next morning was so funny. Jillian and I imitated Balthier and Dr. Cid until she had to leave. Don't forget Venat! LOL!

LOL I just got my first game over in FF12
I was going to fight an esper and it was difficult, but steady and then I realized that I only had a few phoenix downs left. Everyone died because they kept running out of MP to use Raise. I also realized that I had 0 X-potions... I was so obsessed with leveling up my characters and giving them the strongest weapons and magic that I forgot to check my items. Duh... Well I learned my lesson. LOL!
I will kill it this time!!!!

Oops...(part II)
I thought today was Tuesday. It's only Monday... Jillian is coming over on Wednesday. So the day after tomorrow. LOL. I lost track of time because I was thinking of Dr. Cid. (LOL I don't think I'm going to let that one go anytime soon...)
Yay! The Bachelorette is on tonight! ^_^
