Work Grind . . .
Saturday, Sunday, Monday, tomorrow . . .
I have watched Twilight so much!!!!!!
I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaay excited because TS is going to watch Twilight with me on Wednesday. And American Idol is on that night so we'll watch that too! We'll just have to watch Twilight before AI and just finish what we have left after AI. So that'll be awesome. LOL I wonder if TS will think anyone in Twilight is hot. She'll probably give Carlisle a 2 since I give him a 10. (He's sooooooooo amaaaaaaaaaaazing. They totally casted the right person for him!)
The whole baseball scene from Twilight was playing through my head at work. LOL. I am only half aware what is going on around me at work these days. LOL! & School sucks!!!!!!!!!

LOL
I was just curious. This is how I match up with H.P. Baxxter
Virgo + Pisces
Earth + Water = Mud
There’s a contradiction between Virgo and Pisces. You are opposite signs: astrologically, this is usually considered a positive indicator for love and marriage. At the same time, you have very different approaches to life, and very different personalities. Because of this, it’s quite surprising that you’re even attracted to each other. But attracted you may be — don’t write it off.
Pisces is a water sign, and therefore sensitive and extremely intuitive. You, on the other hand, are rational and less emotional. The way you express yourselves, the way you see the world, and — most importantly — the way you want to engage in love is quite different.
Pisces is a dreamer, constantly imagining new possibilities in life and relying on their intuition. They live in a way that you find hard to understand, intellectually. You are a doer. You use reason and cold hard facts to make decisions.
One thing you have in common is that both of you are changeable and moody.
The important difference is that you’re driven to understand, categorise and solve each and every problem meticulously, where Pisces is happy to wait, and let emotional forces reveal the answers to them.
You may interpret their approach as laziness and attack them for it. This is a bad idea: you could damage the relationship irreparably. Just because Pisces doesn’t hit back, it doesn’t mean you haven’t hurt them. Water signs don’t get even straight away. They brood, and wait for the right moment to retaliate.
Any sharp criticism will scar Pisces; in the long run it will scare them off. So pull back on the self-control reins and don’t ask for things that really mean you want them to be different.
Your best combination is with a Piscean born between 19 February and 28/29 February. These Pisces will offer you a very stable life. There’s a chance you could build a fulfilling relationship with them and learn a lot about your own feelings in the process.
Pisces born between 1 March and 10 March will make great friends and admirers. They secretly wish for your intellectual greatness, but they won’t say so. They will be great supporters of anything you do.
There are some pluses if you team up with a Pisces born between 11 March and 20 March — they are great communicators. They may not be very open to your criticisms, though, so be gentle if you offer them self-improvement ideas. In fact, be prepared for a sharpish response; they’re not going to roll over and accept everything you say

YAY HIGHSPEED!!!
I can watch videos now!
Wow. A really violent day in the news. It makes everyday problems seem really small.
I'm glad that I don't have to work this weekend. Want to hangout, TS?
OMG! American Idol! I love Adam Lambert! He's going to win the whole thing!

LOL
I just realized the first draft of the paper is due tomorrow so I'm doing that at the same time as this. It's three page paper about the effect of English language around the world so it's nothing too difficult.
LOL TS. I listed mostly young soldiers because I have a young men in uniform fetish. (As you could guess from that text I sent you about that dream!) And it's always more dramatic for me when someone dies with a life still ahead of them.
OMG. I had to argue with my art teacher about one of my pictures again today. The whole class heard and they ended up taking my side. So he ended up just shutting up about it.

A Post Dedicated in Memory of Many Brave Europeans
The other night TS was surprised when I mentioned the United States wasn’t the only country that had troops in the Middle East. She asked me to do a post about it; so I will. Just as a disclaimer, I completely support all U.S. troops. I’m only criticizing the American government and the media in this post when I refer to the United States.
Many Americans who only watch local news programs and read local newspapers only realize what’s going on in within the affairs of the United States. It is very easy to not see beyond internal affairs when in the United States. It’s like a house with its lights on at night analogy. The inside of the house is the United States and the outside is the rest of the world. Outside of the house you can see inside the house and also what’s around you. Inside the house you can only see what’s around you. The dark outside seems an irrelevant mass of nothingness. Other nations know what’s going on in the United States and the rest of the world as well. In the United States the media tends to portray our country that is doing everything on its own. It wants us to feel extremely patriotic. I think Americans would still feel just as patriotic even with all of the facts. The United States does not rule the world. It is a member of the United Nations and works in cooperation with other countries against terrorism in hopes of a better world. At least in the best case scenario. What we’re really stuck in is an oil war. There are terrorists all around the world, though Al Qaeda is the main threat. There are all kinds of places that need our help. If the destitute areas in Africa had oil reserves the United States would’ve long charged in there, and stopped the genocides. The government only cares about the United States. That’s why the media has to portray as in an US VERSUS THE REST OF THE WORLD fashion. It portrays other countries either as weak, an enemy, or completely incompetent. A good example is a few years ago when people were in their “Freedom Fries” phase. France and the rest of Europe are fighting for our freedom, too. If not in active troops in relief forces and aid to areas of the world in need. You can very much thank the British combat troops as much for the hairs on your head as the American troops. It’s not just Iraq. The real war is in Afghanistan and other Middle East hotspots.
It’s up to you to be informed about what’s going on in the world. Don’t expect the media to hand you anything on a platter. I do have a high respect for journalists like Richard Engle who live among the people they are reporting on, and give us the 411 straight up form both sides. We need more journalists like that. You have to the one at least step on the front porch of the house and see for yourself what’s going on.
Here are some sites to start.
BBC News is a great news site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/3847051.stm
This site lists the names of the people who have died in the name of freedom. The link goes to the list of the brave people who died in Afghanistan. Seeing all of the names is a lot more eye-opening than just hearing a vague number.
What really gets me is seeing the names of the younger soldiers who died and whose lives were cut short for the sake of democracy and our future. Mark Weijdt, a sergeant in the Royal Dutch Army of the Netherlands died for you, TS at the age of 24 in Afghanistan. Jamie Gunn, a British Rifleman died for you one week to to this day at the age of 21, you’ll have to drink a few rounds for him when you turn 21 this year because he won’t ever be able to go see his friends at the pub ever again. You’re boyfriend will turn 19 this year. A French soldier of that age never made it back home for Christmas. Neither did a Polish first lieutenant named Robert Marczewski. And neither did Roman Schmidt of Germany-just 22 years old . . .

Don’t forget what they gave up so you would have the freedom to go on not knowing the valor of America’s greatest allies.

Dumb Internet
We have a nice new computer and our internet is still acting up randomly. We are talking about switching to high speed. That would be fricking awesome!
My art teacher is sooooooooooo awkward to be around. . . LOL at the end of class I realized he was sitting RIGHT BEHIND me the entire time and I didn't even realize it.
Anyway I'm drawing this dramatic picture of Captain Basch. We are doing high contrast drawings with charcoal and chalk! I think it's going to turn out really awesome.
OMG I so want to draw this handsome French soldier. I printed it out and it came out like a picture you would frame. LOL so if someone would see that they would think he's my boyfriend. I WISH! If I was dating a French guy I definately wouldn't be spending another summer here. Anyway LOL TS will probably give him a 5. We have such interesting different opinions . . .
OMG I was up typing a paper after work last night. I didn't get enough sleep. The paper turned out really nice, though. Ugh. I have to work tonight, too. At least I have this weekend off.

New Computer
YAY it's up. We still have dial up though. I can use YouTube, but I have to wait a while for each video to load. It's a nice looking computer, though.
President's Day tomorrow!!!!No school but work. Grr....
Erin spent the night last night. Beth and Jillian were with us for a while, too. We went to my school's last basketball game of the season. They lost way badly. LOL! And we saw Mascara Boy! LOL!
Then Erin and I went to Pizza Hut. There was this really annoying big family gathering with screaming kids.
Then we went home and watched Men In Tights, Hannibal Rising, and Clue. LOL I Hannibal Rising wasn't even scaring. I was too busy drooling over the main actor to be horrified during any of the murder scenes!

Shortest Weekend ever.
Just working and crap . . .
Work was better. Less annoying people today since Sundays are slower. I saw Jillian.
TS was there to talk to me all day when I was freaking out about the Doug-crap. So thanks a bunch TS, you're the best!
LOL. I talked to Jillian about it and she said it was entertaining because she gets to hear both sides of the story. LOL. I also asked her if he really is that desperate to keep his new year's resolution (to get a gf by the end of the year.) And she told me he has it narrowed down between me and another girl who goes to his college. So pretty much it means I meet his specifications, but I nothing special. He'll settle for the first girl who says yes. Ironically, though he won't date anyone who isn't good-looking enough. So he has rejected a lot of fat girls. What a superficial hypocrite! He really ticks me off. I am NEVER talking to him again, unless it's completely unavoidable like if he checks something out at work. I repeat for the millionth time that I NEVER want to see his face EVER AGAIN!!!!
I just have to get through this week. This weekend will be awesome. We're getting a new computer!!!!
Thinking about FF12 is getting my mind off of crap, but I still get so freaking mad when I think of that jerk. And wow I never thought in a million years Doug would turn out to be a jerk.
I'm saving my virginity for Captain Basch (LOL!)
Ooooooooo! Babe!

OMG
Worked today . . .
Katie let me watch the desk for an hour so I was online. When I checked my facebook I noticed I had a message from Doug!!!! He asked me to give him another chance? And I'm like why are you asking? And he's like why would you even ask me that? So now I don't know what to say. I know what I WANT to say is **** NO you pompous ass-hole! But this is a delicate situation. This guy obsesses over little things for YEARS. I just want him to leave me alone.
