I'm writing a bunch of poems to curb my boredom.
If I Have to Choose (a pantoum)
If I was forced to choose,
Colin or Bryan,
I would flip a coin and pick
The opposite of what is in my hand.
Colin or Bryan?
The cute lifeguard makes me melt.

I would love to kiss.

The deliciously lanky baseball player.

If I was forced to choose.
The Lackey's Sonnet (a sonnet, duh)
I like being the manager for basketball.
My motivation is simple: The guys!
I always worry when Bryan takes a fall.
I know to be nice to "Blinky"; I'm wise.
I'm still waiting to see Michael's angel wings.
Maybe they'll pop out during the next homegame.
Although I'd rather watch as Bryan flings
Cowboy Freak into the Wall of Fame.
Ever since Colin quit, I've worn my mourning beads
My heart is split in two directions.
As I do my managerly deeds,
I plot how to get his affections.
I'll fuss over all of them like a mother hen,
Because it's simple; I like men!
