Happy Easter
I thought I would go ahead and say that before I told anything about MomoCon yesterday, so Happy Easter. This weekend was MomoCon's first ever weekend, so it was a new con. For a new con and from what I could see, it had a fairly good turn out, so there'll be one next year. We got there at 10:30 in the morning and stayed until 3 in the afternoon (two hours were spent waiting on my father). When we first got there, we sought out the Dealer's Room. It was small, about six or so dealers. There was pocky though O.O and that's all, besides a keychain of the pink thingy from Chobits, Mama-san bought. After a tour in the small, confined, and hot Dealer's Room, MysteriousChild, Deathrose, and I looked for costumes. We saw a Trigun group that freaked us all out (I'll tell you later why). We saw a kid that was Zazie the Beast from Trigun and no one knew him and his brother was Chapel, the one that kills Wolfwood. No one knew him either! Here's a conversation we had after the group he was in did a skit:
C:I'm the one that kills Wolfwood and no one cares!!
Me: No one cares because you kill him!
C: Be careful, or you'll be next. -Big grin-
I almost stole the apple he was carrying. Next funny thing was MysteriousChild be affixed with the Artists' Alley. We met two comic book artists that were their friends characters, Satan & Lucifer (Satan is the Good Guy, Lucifer is the Bad Guy). Their friend has a comic with them in it, the artist is Allison Carmichael . She has a D art site. Her name on there is mangapunksai. She has some very nice work. MysteriousChild got the Jack Skellington picture. I got two signed comics from her friend that was dressed as Satan. All three of the people there were nice. After that, I saw my glomper girl, Laura, again! I see her at every Atlanta con now! I told her I wasn't going to be Kenshin anymore because I've out grown my costume (the hakama used to go to my ankles...it goes to my shins almost now...) and I was going to be Rei because a friend tricked me into being her, which is kind of true. She said "But if you're Rei, I can't glomp you like I did when you were Kenshin. I still will because I love you." Yeah, we're good friends. She always hugs me. She's cool. After that, I went searching for costumes again and got some more pictures. None of us did much because we were afraid as soon as we did, my dad would show up, but intead we waited two hours for him. He picked us up at 3. Mama-san, MysteriousChild, Deathrose, and I went to Mama-san's favorite store, Micheal's. After that, my dad took us to a Japanese restraunt where the waitresses wore kimonos. It was cool. I ate too much though. And after that, we came home. I'm going to show you guys some pictures today.
