Reasons for staying home.
Yes, I have reasons for staying home today. I'm sure alot of you will agree with me after reading this post.
Okay, this morning was normal like any other morning. I get up, get ready, go to the bus, and go to school. Well, I got up and laid back down due to being tired, so Jake called me at 6:50. I got up and talked to him for a little bit when I heard an engine outside, like one of a truck or something. Well, I thought it was a prank and just ignored it. The bus came, left and the vehicle was still out there. I decided to stay home.
I spoke to Jake for over an hour. It was like 8:27 when I finally got off the phone with him. Before that, I saw a white truck in the driveway and it was the vehicle that the engine belonged to. I quickly got off the phone and called my mom. She said she was on her way home. During the time it took her to come home, the people in the truck ripped the screen off the back door and tried to break the glass. The front door was also tampered with and thhe truck left.
My mom came home and we called the police. A deputy came out and all he was able to do was take a report on where the house had been messed with. I don't know why that happened because it's apparent that we aren't rich.
I'm thinking it was nothing more than a prank...at least, I hope it was nothing more than a prank..Now my dad's gonna want use to move to Indiana with him......-_-' Go figure.
