*Somewhere in Town*
‘Hey wait up!!’ ‘Get away you pervert!’ ‘Hey what’s wrong? You said you wanted to go out!’ ‘I DID NOT YOU PREVERT!!!’ ‘Man, why do they always run from me?’ ‘Haha Goh. Not having any luck? Looks like I’m more for the girls.’ ‘Shin! You…you just shut up!’ ‘Ha! Come on. Lets go. He doesn’t know anything.’ ‘Oh the nerve of him!’ ‘Um excuse me. Do you know where the market is?’ ‘Um yea. It’s right down this road. Would you like me to escort you?’ ‘That would be great. Thank you.’ Goh starts walking and the girl grabs his hand. ‘Wait!’ A big flash of light appears. ‘Ow…What was that?’ ‘Are you ok?!?!’ ‘Yes I’m ok.’ ‘You…you…you’re a Pretear’ Goh muttered under his breath. ‘Um, may I ask your name?’ ‘Oh how stupid of me. My name’s Goh.’ ‘Goh? That’s a nice name. My name is Kimiko. But every one calls me Kimi for short.’ ‘That’s a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl.’ ‘Um, Goh, what was that flash of light?’ ‘Um…come with me and I’ll tell you.’ The two start walking towards Himeno’s house.

*Himeno’s House*

‘Himeno? You here?’ ‘Yea. Hold on!’ Himeno unlocks her door. ‘Oh hey Goh and…oh! Who are you?’ ‘Himeno, this is Kimiko, Kimi for short.’ ‘Hello. I’m Himeno.’ ‘We need to talk.’ ‘Um…ok. Let’s go to the pond.’

*Pond*

‘What’s going on?’ ‘You know that light…’ ‘The light?!?! You mean…’ ‘Yes. Kimi, you’re a Pretear.’ ‘What’s a Pretear?’ ‘Himeno? Would you like to demonstrate?’ ‘Ok’ Lights flash as Himeno and Goh prêt. Kimi stares in awe. ‘This is Pretear. Well, one kind of Pretear. Right now I am the Fire Pretear.’ ‘Wow’ ‘There are 7 Leafe Knights. Hayate, Sasame, Goh, Kei, Mannen, Hajime, and Shin. Leafe is the source of all life. The knights protect the leafe with powers. Hayate is wind, Sasame is sound, Goh is fire, Kei is light, Mannen is ice, Hajime is water, and Shin is plant.’ ‘So I can do what you just did?’ ‘Yes and much more. Like attacks. For example: Houno no axe!’ ‘WOW!’ ‘Ok Goh, lets see if Kimi can become the Pretear. –Right- Himeno glows as the two unpret. ‘Ok Kimi. Give me your hand.’ ‘Um ok.’

*Restaurant in Town*

‘Hey, where’s Goh?’ ‘He went for his lunch break and never returned.’ ‘Hm…we’ll go find him for you and tell him to get his ass back here ok?’ ‘Um…if you say so Mannen.’ ‘Ok lets go guys!’ ‘Um, were exactly are we going?’ ‘Huh? Uh…oh shut up Hajime!’

*Town*

‘Let’s go get some ice cream! You deserve it Kimi.’ ‘Ok! Sounds good to me!’ ‘I wonder where every one is’ ‘I can’t wait to see them!’ ‘I should warn you about Hayate. He doesn’t like to accept others easily so don’t be offended ok?’ ‘Ok’ ‘But once you get to know him he’s such a sweetheart’ ‘Oh, so you do like him?’ ‘I NEVER SAID THAT GOH!!’ Himeno karate chops him over the head. ‘Ha! You deserved that!’ ‘Why me?!? First Kei, now you?’ ‘Wow! Your into martial arts? That’s so cool!’ ‘Himeno!!’ ‘Huh? Oh Hayate!’ ‘Hurry come with me! Goh your dates over! Get back to work!!’ I’m not on date! Kimi’s a Pretear!’ ‘Wha…?!?’ ‘She is Hayate.’ Hayate stares at Kimi. ‘Whatever. Come on!’ ‘Geez always in a rush huh?’ ‘SHUT UP AND GET BACK TO WORK!!’

*Old Abandoned Building*

‘So you’re a Pretear?’ ‘Uh…yes I guess I am.’ ‘So who you gonna pick?’ ‘What?’ ‘Mannen don’t rush her!’ ‘Kimi, you have to pick a Leafe Knight to prêt with. You can choose anyone of the knights, other than Hayate or Sasame. But take your time. Get to know every one first. Once you choose, that’s it. You can’t change.’ ‘Ok.’

*Woods in Himeno’s yard*

‘Hey, Himeno, what were you going to say earlier?’ ‘Huh? What are you talking about?’ ‘At the park, when you said you chose me and Mannen showed up outta nowhere.’ ‘Oh that.’ ‘Well?’ ‘Because you were the first knight that I met and that I first preted with. And… ’ Himeno turns and blushes ‘Yes?’ ‘Oh nothing’ ‘Come on, you know you can tell me anything.’ ‘Yea, I know but…I don’t want you to get the wrong idea.’ ‘I feel the same way Himeno. Remember that promise I made 5 years ago?’ ‘Oh yea I remember.’ ‘Well I wanted to tell you that…that…’ Hayate turns and lowers his voice to a whisper ‘I love you’ ‘What? Hayate turn around I can’t hear you.’ Himeno grabs his should to turn him around ‘Himeno, I love you!’ ‘Hayate…’ ‘I’ve loved you since I first met you. You’re the only one I’ve ever loved!’ Himeno runs into Hayate’s arms ‘I’ve love all this time to! I just could bring myself to tell you!’ ‘Well now that that’s out…’ ‘GOH! KEI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?!?’ ‘Hey, chill out Hayate.’ Goh looks at Himeno ‘So he finally told ya huh?’ ‘It’s not what you think! Kei please help me here!’ ‘Sorry but I’m sticking with Goh this time.’ ‘Damn you Kei!’ ‘Heh, why get so hotheaded?’ ‘Just get outta here!’

*Town*

‘So, Goh. How’s Kimi doing as Pretear? Has she chosen yet?’ ‘Not yet. But she’s warming up to Mannen.’ ‘I was talking to her the other day. She said was going to pick you.’ ‘What?’ Goh blushes ‘But I thought she liked Mannen!’ ‘That’s not what she told me. The day you to met, she wasn’t really going to the market. She asked you for directions in hopes of you liking her.’ ‘Really?’ Kei nods his head. Goh stopped in his tracks. ‘So you mean she really likes me?’ ‘Uh huh.’ ‘GOH!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING!!!’ ‘Ahh! Kei hide me!’ ‘Your to tall.’ ‘Oh man! Where’d he go now? Hey! You!’ ‘I have a name.’ ‘Oh really? Have you seen a tall guy with red and brown hair near by?’ ‘Yea, he went that way.’ ‘Thanks. Sorry for being rude, but I’m in a hurry. Come by the shop sometime and I’ll make it up!’ ‘That was strange…’
