   History Lessons!


I have decided that I love the Victorian era to no end. It's just so cool, very beautiful but with a touch of darkness to it that throws everything slightly off-kilter. Freak shows, absinthe, the birth of modern science and all that fantastically bizarre stuff.

I can dig it.

GAHHH!!!! Bwahahahaha.... I was so happy for about five minutes.

They showed me singing and signing the books... *laughs hysterically*

Have I mentioned how much I LURVE you people?!
No reason... I just felt like I should say it. It's such a gloomerful day and all... so it's put me into good spirits! [Contradicting hm?]

This is my story of yesterday.

Woke up decidedly unwillingly. Laid in bed for a while listening to Soundgarden, which is not the kind of music which inspires energy. Dragged self out of bed. Put on nifty dress. Whinged about how sick I felt. Went to tutor. Tried to teach arrogant boy how to study. Gave him math test. Received test. Muttered "Oh, fuck" to self. Stared blankly at equally blank paper.
Then went home to watch news and got decidedly happier!

   Ahh!
I am so ecstatically like, happy!
Yesterday was coolness, I did my part and CFCF/CTV was there, I think they said it was going to be on at 6 o'clock tonight.... I'm soooooo watching!

Well, afterwards the adults were all mingling with their wine and cheese... I just had ice tea, although I got a sip of that white wine.... It's sort of bitter you know?



Paul [the guy I've been working with to organize the book launching] gave me a rose, it was so purdiful! Made me day, it did!
I felt so speeeeecial!

Anywhooo, lurve you all for the comments yesterday... apparently though, the air conditioner is leaking on the windowsill... I spent all night with my sister sitting there trying to soak up the water coming in from outside.

   Middle children get soooo neglected.


We were putting in the air conditioner yesterday, and it gave us heck because the little snaps wouldn't snap in place.

Well, the thing was friggin' heavy, and my older sister and my mom were heaving and pulling and getting really aggravated too. ^^;
I wanted to fling the damn thing out the window!

Well, instead of looking down all the time, after an hour, my mom looks back at me and was like, "Oh look! I have another daughter... you can look and tell us when the snaps snap into place!"

Well, that got the job done in a few minutes...
I swear... It was so hot yesterday, impossible to think about anything. It was 40 degrees celsius yesterday!

Wow.
So, I'm nervous for tomorrow... I dearly hope I don't let anyone down. U_U

I stayed up all night with my older sister, playing fun things like: "The Unchained Melody" "Danube Waves" "Right Here Waiting" "Titanic"

Fun times man, fun times.

Well, fingers crossed, lets hope I don't eff up in my performance tomorrow!

I think I really did myself proud this time 'round. ^__^

It's so hot at the moment, I'm meeeelting!
It like my blood is bubbling, my fingernails are melting off.... Okay, not to the extreme, but you get the picture.



I finally managed to lay down some time to practice Amazing Grace on our piano... My mom was like, "Been such a long time since I've heard the piano being played..."

How patriotic... I think I'm just going to try to play "Emblem of Canada" next... make myself even more proud-er than I already am... what a queer day...

Ah... Heat is getting to everyone, even the normally calm, moral, loving, and patient people... So much tension!

During my science exam today, I started to cough, and my coughs are really bad after a cold... I forgot that fact and I didnt bring water... It got so bad I started gagging. My friends were all horrified, ^^ Hehe...
