   Random Poem
Please tell me what you think of this poem.

Tell the Tale
Write me a poem about how the wind blows through the trees
On a warm summer’s eve. About the last time we kissed
At dawn in the mist. How the birds shall ever fly away
Before the break of Autumn’s Day.
Write me a poem about the rain. A sweet summer shower,
Or a harsh hurricane. Its soft caress, cool gentleness; its heart-racking
Pain
That can forever stain.
Write me a tale of fantastical things. Where there are elves and enchanted rings
And dragons soar on their wings. Where there are magical forests and sprites.
And wizards light up the night for our delight.
Write me canticle to remind us of old. Reteach me all our songs, so often retold;
Of warriors bold and hearts ice cold that grew to shape our much feared fate.
Write me a poem about fire and might. Where power is everything
And you’re able to fight. Where tyrants rule, and in the game of life,
You’ve played the fool. Why a hero never came to reign, and end
My people’s pain. Or why I’ll wait forever more; behind stone walls,
Behind closed doors. Will the enemy never fall? Will he claim the lives
And souls of all? Our sons and daughters, they must run.
They hide in fear and miss those dear
Who were captured and fell; at the toll of the bell.
Write me a ballad about the battle in blood.
How we fought for freedom, but died mercilessly in the mud.
Write me a story about a better life. Where there’s
Courage, love, and freedom. Not war and strife. Where men are
Free
From sea to sea.
Rewrite our history in the book. Of a world based on trust instead of lust.
How we all taught instead of fought. How we cared and shared;
Not hated and glared. Rewrite our fate
Before it’s too late.

Write for me the lore anew
That will tell our tale
Through
and through.

Yeah, it sucks, but oh well.
