anywho. bought me a new comic book! called Arrowsmith: So Smart in Their Fine Uniforms by Kurt Busiek and Carlos Pacheco. the cover is alphonse mucha-tastic!. basically, it's World War I only with dragons and mythos. O___o it makes me happy!! heh heh. Picto-novel.

i love those crazy romans!
gladiator's on. god i love this movie. and i have tangelos! it's like it can't get better! though i do need to go out and get b=day gift for a friend. got car baby back! i actually yelled 'car baby!' in the parking lot at the dealership and ran up and hugged it. i am that obsessed with my car. i hug it. i'm cutting off now. i'm not even looking at the monitor. i'm sooo watching Gladiator. love it love it love it! but... isn't the old emperor dumbledore's first actor? whatshisname...

but my car baby? she will suffer. as it turns out, the transmission fluid container thing got dinged up really bad. it's going to cost close up to $500. had to call my father to front me the cash, so i can actually have a little money left to go to europe on. yeah. most people taking 400 dollars per day. i'm bringing 400. period. hooray for being broke and having a crap job! also, beef taco hamburger helper? no so great. tangelos? AWESOMELY delicious. it's the little things people.

firefox disappeared. i don't know where it went. the sadness in my heart. it is so great. also. i ::cough:: had some, ah, car trouble today. we're not going into detail. a tiny little part of me wonders if i have anxiety problems... so anyway in the end i ended up leaking red stuff everywhere (my car baby that is. not me. when i'm leaking red, we all know what's going on. oh god that was so nasty). my poor car. but wait. i have to ride the bus tomorrow. excuse me, i must go expectorate expletives at something.

so my mom downloaded firefox. i liiiiike firefox. it makes me haaaaappy. now i know why alex is always squawking about it. ^____^ i'm a happy camper. i should be paaaaaintiiiiiing. buuuut i'm noooooot!!!! ha HA!

my lunch today was spent with all boys. pervy boys (well, 2 pervs and one silent one. damn you and your quietness evan!). boys are icky. i told them so. sigh. i shake my fist in anger at all my female friends that were all 'no, we eat in a classroom today blah blah, let's not tell alison, blah blah, falsetto!' so it was quite disturbing to my little female brain. but fun in a rather strange, disturbing way. so yay!

my brain has sooo checked out right now. hm. oh, my yes. i should reaaaally be working on my anubis/morgue painting. buuuut. i dunwanna. garararaagh. turtle lamp. i think i might yet go work. hm. my car has ended up being named car baby. this is what i continually call it. so it is named thus. gaaah. turn 18 on the 19th. i wish that had a little more significance. don't smoke or have any need of porn so there's not much i can do with it, since the election's passed. i can give blood without a parental signature. if only i weren't totally freaked by the sight of my blood leaking out of my arm... (if it were meant to come out one wouldn't have to make incisions!! O__o) you know. started this post about three to four hours ago, wandered off to paint, ended up tuning out to nypd blue, then painted, and just came back. so huh. totally forgot what i was talking about. writing. stop with your logic!

woo! B&N adventures!
sigh. i need new bras. desperately.

anywho. now i've overinformed all of you. i saw lots and lots of cool things at Barnes & Noble today. didn't feel like going home after work so of course i go to the bookstore. THEY HAD THE LITTLE ENDLESS STORYBOOK. i wants it, i wants it!! they also had a comic adaptation of Kafka's Metamorphosis and a comic called Sticks and Stones by the same artist (as metamormorphosis) that looked most awesome. had Roman Dirge stuff (did Lenore and a writer on Invader Zim i discovered today when watching it, or really the mini-credits that run on each episode. i was all roman dirge!! whoa!) and some other things that looked quite nifty. and they 69 love songs v.1 by the Magnetic Fields or whatever it's called, and i found a new band called Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. actually purchased one of their c.d.'s, "Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Ruin Jonny's Bar Mitzvah!" sure they're a cover band, but it's tons of fun! i didn't realize my Barnes actually had any of this stuff so i was all happy and such. worked all weekend, and last monday too, so if i get to take some of my vacation time from the museum, i'll have suuuuuch a niiiiice paycheck. or if i could work free friday... it's the... 27th... making friday... what? is it a leap year? so either the 4th or 5th?? hm...

inuyasha fans dislike change.
laaa dee da. haven't posted since sunday. tried to yesterday and my internet was being screwy. comp won't let me free up any ram for some reason. probably a virus or something. oedipus.

finished American Gods. go read it now, please. it is most awesome. i'm going to go try figure out where the crap czernobog's from now. the zorya are russian. (woo, pantheon.net!! ^.^ alviss/elvis also had me through a loop till they explained it. thought it was familiar. just smile and nod dearie.) now reading Till We Have Faces by C. S. Lewis. likes it a lot. based on the cupid and psyche myth. been playing with ink a lot lately. will post some form of art soon. had posted a kouga pic sunday, but it was stylized and i think the inuyasha fans were going to form a lynch mob from the feedback i got so i took it down again.
