what we have here is a failure to communicate!
well crap. i thought i was going to get to start on patita's FoR bg, buuut my friend who has my disc with all my images brought me the wrong disc (she got a bit confused. she had both my anime and manga discs, and brought the anime disc). crap O_
update: yaay! she's bringing it tomorrow! (she got on aim, and we chatted, as the terms go).
in other things, my discoveries concerning saving things in diff formats.
jpegs almost always leave artifacts (areas of discoloration around pixel areas of high color intensity/pixel count). really obvious around text. this stuff is the bane of my existance. i've complained about it often. gifs do this too, but to a much lesser degree, and leave text alone pretty much. bitmaps are our friends. bitmaps are huge files, but leave the image exactly as it is.

a horn keeps going off outside my window and it's making me jump each friggin time.
my ears hurt. stupid ear infection (no, i'm not better. stupid antibiotic better work). anywho. myotaku page changed. O_O freaked me out (i'm jumpy, okay?). should have 3 things coming up tomorrow or the day after. exam doodle (titled Tree Faerie), finished inuyasha comp-color (it's okay. i'm too lazy to try to fix the outline so.), and a Kouga wallpaper (i have mentioned my hatred of jpeg artifacts, haven't i? >_<). i have a recca doodle i'll probably scan eventually. it's good line work, so i might be able to color it in photoshop w/o having to bother w/outlining it in the program. egads, my ear!!! i'm gonna cut off and dig up some frigging tylenol =_=.

holy batflaps, grandma!
ap exams today. English language. guh. think i know what an extended metaphor is? ha.
anywho. don't you hate it when you do a doodle, then you can't re-do it? that happens to me all the (beaver) dam time. it's so annoying. posting doodle on the back of the seals label from ap exams that i liked a lot. not cleaned. the anatomy is a bit skewed, but i like the hair on it.

i need to go to japan.
and get a PS2. why, you ask (or don't, but i'm telling you anyway). THIS. Flame of Recca video game!!! looks like it's the final major arc of the manga (that never saw animation, sadly) sad thing is, from what i've seen, the animation to the game is better than that in the anime. =____= my obsession knows no bounds. hopefully, i'll be able to get it somehow. but then would require a PS2. why, whhhy does everything require money? maybe i can buy one used, or rent a system or something. probably rent, but then again, i'm horrible at video games, so i'd probably have to buy one (just to save money. but then there's the whole issue of not speaking (let alone reading) a word of japanese. eh, i'd get over it, and play it anyway. if i ever managed to get it. and a game system. =___=
on an unrelated note: Inuyasha Work in Progress, a compy colored version of inuyasha doodle went up. and that's probably all that will. after 2 power outages, and the program doing something and closing whilst working on it, i think it's not meant to be finished.

i love being right!
even if it's about bad ratings! the Inuyasha Doodle, as i predicted, has low ratings! yaaay! but the reason i'm posting on it is NOT shameless advertising to try to get people to look at it, this time! (i'm going to choose to ignore those of you chorusing, 'oh, really?' in the background). actually, people are likening it to something called "yoko kurama." what's yoko kurama? this will plague me! enlighten me, oh wiser-than-i ones!

slept till two and feeling much better!
and, as i thought, now i can't sleep so let me tell you something pathetic about where i live:
we got a Krispy Kreme a while back. and the people here have so little to do that they would wait in a line wrapping all the way around the store and on the street just to get a donut. they actually had to get a traffic cop, and wouldn't let you in from certain directions. is it just me? or is that more than a little sad? to wait hours for a donut? meh. it's probably just me, being hypercritical again. eh heeh...
am actually uploading some fanart tonight! don't get too excited, they're both on notebook paper. and here's a prediction: the inuyasha will get -12.

new backroom freaked me out, man.
well crap. i'm sick as a dog. curse my sister, she always gets me sick. =.=
anywho. i did manage to get to my Memphis field trip yesterday, to see the Masters of Florence at the Wonders exhibit at the Pyramid. SO FREAKING AWESOME. i drove my friend ashley nuts, though, while we were standing in line to go in. i was literally bouncing up and down. i'm serious. if you're anywhere near Memphis, or have frequent flier miles or something, you MUST GO SEE THIS EXHIBIT. literally once in a lifetime. these things have never left Florence (the last of the Medici, the family that owned all the art forbid it in her will), and they never will leave again i'll bet. they had Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, AND Rafael! all the ninja turtles! ::drool::
k. that's all i got on for. i'm going back to bed.

i need me some shleep.
just read 3x3 Eyes. pretty good. it's as old as i am, apparently (being set in 1987). Yakumo is fun. meh. been battling pop-ups. finally got rid of some program that wandered into my compy called 'whenusearch.' how annoying. and it turns out you now have to subscribe to norton antivirus. how annoying. Microsoft Word, too. damn you, CompUSA. guess that was one good thing about Gateway.

i'm choking on my drool already.
well, i'm addicted to Wolf's Rain. it combines drool-provoking animation w/my favorite animals, plus a bit of a mythological feel ^__^. it brings the Green Ranger back to the scene, too, but that's a bit irrelevant. i SO knew it! bonus points if you get it.
and you can SO tell just by watching the first 5 minutes it's the same people as Bebop. i lurve you people! ::cries hysterically for joy::
