yet again
another wallpaper, for Flame of Recca, using one of my favorite images from the whole manga. pretty happy with it, but i'll probably hate it in a week. Kare-Kano wallpaper's up, too. remember, i do take requests on papers. no one ever pays any mind to that though. ::feeling unloved::

you know what they say.
in this case, they say that you can tell what a person's like by looking through their garbage. i think that could also be applied to computer desks. seriously. don't roll your eyes like i'm crazy. (quit it!) take mine for example.
things on my comp desk:
trigun v. 1.
saiyuki anime.
empty coke cans.
britcoms mug.
3 cents.
purple sprite cap.
pencils.
one doodle page.
empty container of cranberry juice.
delapidated karma bead bracelet.
a blue and green pom creature named 'the cussbug.'
paycheck (a whole $22.18! ^.^;;).
...make your own evaluations.

=_____=
need... sleep...
gah. feeling quite prolific, as it were. did a Kare Kano wallpaper for Maarii, all in one night! i'm not sure if i like it or not, though, but it's all i could think of. and (when you look at it) note the hand down in the lower right. i did that thing since the image but it out. worship me, wooorshiiip meee!
i'm also working on a Koganei bg (another FoR). i LOVE the image, but there's a bit cut out that i'm not going to be able to fake. so i have to figure something out. sigh. i'm sleeping now.

raw chicken is by far the most disgusting thing i've ever held. i mean. eeeeeww! my hands are still itchy from it. working on two wallpapers. it's so fun to multi-task! and dodging homework. i'm sure i'll actually draw something and find it good enough to post soon. eh. i think. -.-;;

.jpg artifacts SUCK.
why this new little spurt of hatred? my Outlaw Star bg. i forgot to check for artifacts before uploading it, and lo and behold, there they are, surrounding the text i created MANUALLY. meh, i'm a perfectionist, what can i say? and that little effect where you get a bit of the bg in the text? i had to figure out how to do that little number too. in other news. i'm pretty sure i had an art history assignment due tomorrow, but i can't find my sketchbook where i stuck my notes for it, meaning i can't do the assignment. =_= ms. mac is gonna deep fry me. apush is also gnawing on my soul. we started reviewing today, and guess what? New Amsterdam is NOT modern day New Hampshire. but that's the answer i wanted to give, and tried to give. i couldn't even do that. i said New Hamster. that's right. New Hamster. the real answer is, in all its glory, New York. -.- the exam for this is gonna kill me. and i finished Saiyuki. angstiest show i've ever seen. yet surprisingly fun.

i'm an addict.
making wallpapers is addicting. i did an outlaw star one, that i'm immensely pleased with. i'd forgotten how NICE the backgrounds on that show are... and on a completely unrelated note, i swallowed a bit of pine cone today, while mowing the lawn. that, i can assure you, is not pleasant.
2 episodes of Saiyuki left on my discs. =____= it's so sad to run out of anime. like finishing a good book. exactly like it. i think i'm going to save my mowing money for the Outlaw Star anime. i've been wanting it for a while, and i bet i can get it cheap online somewhere. wow, that whole 'save my mowing money' phrase makes me feel young.
oh yeah. Van Helsing looks awesome. Hugh Jackman ... ::drool:: kay. that's enough fangirl-ing for one lifetime.

animatrix!
guess whose name came up on the credits, much to this little person's joy? Shinichiro Watanabe. director of Cowboy Bebop. directed Detective Story. go go, mr. watanabe. you the shizz.
now i must go mutter about how i must purchase the Animatrix and see the second and third Matrix movies. that's right, i haven't seen it. ::shrug::

huh.
you know. that Bionicle movie. surprisingly good for a movie about legoes. fairly high quality (higher than i expected. water looked horrid, but the way they handled light was pretty good). and one of the voices sounded a LOT like Sauron from LOTR.
you know one thing that computer animation still hasn't gotten yet? the look of something touching. it looks like the touching objects are on the verge of it, but like a hair away.
and another inuyasha anachronism, from somewhere around eps. 35 or 36 (maaaybe 34)! anywho. inuyasha's digging graves w/Miroku and complains about all the good deeds he's been doing lately, likening it to the Good Samaritan. which is a bible story. i've said it before, i'll say it again, 16th century Japan had little to no contact w/the West, meaning NO CHRISTIANITY. how do i know it's the 16th century (a.k.a., alison feels like telling you where she got her timeframe)? eps. 8, when they meet that little dude named Nobunaga. in all likelihood, that is Oda Nobunaga (Kagome even thought it was him at first, but he said his name was something else, but i'll bet it's him or a descendent or something), and Oda conquered Japan mid-16th century. before western contact. besides. Inuyasha: DEMON. do you really think that a demon would regularly allude to christian theology? no, and if you do, you're a bit odd! meeeeh, get it together, writers!
okay, i'm done.
