   w00t!
back from a.y.a.a.! not only did i get out of chemistry, but i also placed not once, but TWICE! i got 4th place Oils Formalism, and 2nd place Commercial Art. i am SO cool. i really don't like the comm art piece that won, but the Oils one is growing on me, now it's finished. a "detailed" comic strip of my adventures will possibly be posted at deviant. as will Articflames43's dragon as i've given up on this site for original stuff.

   i am the shizz.
submitted the long overdue dragon for articflames43. not the original one i did for ya, but i kinda sorta maaaaaybe lost it. ^^;; this one's better anyway.

A.Y.A.A. competition tomorrow. i have to be at my school at 5.30 for the bus. =_= i'm getting up at 4.00. =____= ah well. wish me luck, i'm taking 4 pieces, 2 of which i detest, one of which i like, and one of which i'm indifferent towards. not expecting to place, but still.

i'm gonna go drool over Kougaiji from Saiyuki now (but he will never replace my first love, Kouga! ... or Ryouga! ... okay, it's a 3-way tie.). ah maaaan, i'm a fangirl. =_=;; i'm so ashamed. (not really, but still, i feel i oughta be).

anime, anime, i finally bought a new anime! i shouldn't've, but i did. Saiyuki. good stuff. the fight scenes are crap, but hey. 24 bucks, 26 episodes. not a bad deal at all. i have officially decided: Goku is the shizz. and i LOVE the myth this thing's based on, Journey to the West. ^__________________^

i just deleted like 3 jillion cookies from my comp. i think i better make that sort of thing a weekly chore, along w/defragging, so as to avoid another Rincewind. ::pets Ridcully::

sigh. i need to finish my kouga bg. good thing about 1280x1024 monitor: can view pretty much all layouts w/o that funny scrunching thing it'll do sometimes. and the big fanciness of it all (perfect for anime-viewing). bad thing: no bg's the right size. now i've got a stretched FLCL from adultswim.com. plus, all the bg's here are 1024, so i have to make them that size. sure, i COULD make some 1280 ones for myself, but what would the point in that be? if i thought people might want them, i'd happily make them that size too, but... meh, i should do something for deviant too. i keep forgetting i'm on there. ^^;;

i really wish we could remove wallpapers. i just thought of how i could make my Trigun one better. drop shadow. add a drop shadow. ah well. i'm gonna finish the kouga one i started a bit ago, and the kimi no kakera one (ironically, it's the first one i started.)

   update on the last post
i lived up to my promise to me! i submitted not one, but TWO, TWO things just now! one under Saiyuki, and one under Magic Knight Rayearth. in other news, i just finished reading volumes 4 and 5 of FoR. gooooood stuff, goooooood stuff. now i'm off to play the same level of Yoshi's Island again. i WILL beat this game! i've gotten to the second world! level 2-4, i think.

okay, okay. i'm gonna FINALLY upload a chunk of stuff i've been procrastinating on. so far i've got 2 scanned, and i have to go find a few of the others. i uploaded my last wallpaper for a while last night, using an image from the first soundtrack (The First Donuts) so yeah. it turned out okay. it oughta show up soon, and i'll submit at least one of the scanned ones today. i'm gonna be productive, dammit! especially since you'll be without me (again) for six weeks when i go to gov school (XD!!!).

   inertia suxor.
this'll give you a laugh. something about me: i'm horrible, TERRIBLE at video games. you think i'm exaggerating, don't you. i've been stuck on the same level of Yoshi's Island forEVER, and i've played the level about 53 times (i counted). it's in World 1, for chrissake. i freaking have a heart attack if i beat a level in Mario Brothers. but that's a rare occasion. once i played it with my friend Claire. she was Mario, i was Luigi. about 7 or 8 of the levels had little red 'M's on them. 1 had an 'L.' i always fell off the cliff! he wouldn't stop when you told him to! stupid inertia!

I GOT INTO GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL!!!! I DON'T EXPECT ANY OF YOU TO KNOW WHAT IT IS, BUT I STILL GOT IN!!!!!! UNDER VISUAL ARTS!!!! that means six weeks of MY summer spent MAKING ART!!! and that means PORTFOLIO PIECES. and that means BETTER PORTFOLIO, which means BETTER COLLEGE which means closer to SCAD!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am so dam (of the beaver!) cool!
