i am 17 today. go me. i can now go see The Passion of the Christ. yay. (if you disapprove shaddup, i don't care. what, i'm a teen. i'm supposed to be rebellious and all that crap. ::rolls eyes and scampers off to act like an idiotic teen:: (why, yes, i DO view most teenage behavior as completely puerile. hence my sarcastic treatment of it, which is in itself puerile, but we could go in these circles for a loooooooong time so let's just chop it off here, eh?))

anywho. trying my hand at wallpapers w/the manga i told you about last night, Kimi no Kakera. may or may not be posted here.

for those of you that read scanslations, how many of you have read Kimi no Kakera? it's by Shin Takahashi, same guy that did SaiKano (which is being released stateside). friggin awesome, man. plain and simple. i mean one of those few series you read and then you simply MUST own it. no exceptions. there are really few series i'm like that for. (sad thing is i can't find the (beaver) dam thing to buy anywhere ::sob::).

oh ho ho. yes. my next post (which i am currently working on) shall be in photoshop. yessssss. fear me. (i love mah comm art class that teaches me how to use these programs well! eeeee!) i'll post the sketch i'm working from (and from the sketch you'll probably see why i'm working on it in photoshop). he he he.

aye, me lads, 'tis that time of the year again, where everyone scrabbles for the last green t-shirt and the bars finally get their equivalent of the dept store x-mas windows: St. Patrick's Day! other than being Irish, where, do you ask, does this "holiday" come from? did a some holy guy named Pat get drunk senseless today and they decided to commemorate it? man i really hope not. now, off to play in Photoshop! (ha!)

one more thing!
here's a fun little quote from the english dept at my school: Writing a paper should be like a woman's skirt, long enough to cover the subject, yet short enough to be interesting!
i'll bet you $20 that it was my english teacher, Ms. Taylor. she talks about/alludes to sex at least once every class. she's notorious for it. strangely, she's quite short, which fits into my theory about short teachers. they're more fun. haven't you ever noticed it? this year alone, i've got 2 rather short teachers, Ms. Taylor and Dr. H. Ms. Taylor's a noted sex maniac and Dr. H is just plain nuts (she's so tiny she gets a buzz from cough drops). and the short teacher i had last year was also a little off her rocker. and from the year before. serious. think about your short teachers. ain't they kooky?
