now i will relieve you of my singing.

yes indeed-y peeps, i am back with a new computer to boot! his name is Ridcully. let us have a moment of silence for Rincewind. ::pause:: h'okay! so. what have i missed? bring me up to date!!! here's what's new with moi (as Ms. Piggy says):

first: what happened to Rincewind. a virus. that's right, a viral infection. i blame you. no i don't but still. DON'T FORWARD ME CRAP! O___x;;

second: news. am competing in the A.Y.A.A. competition this April. so, if you're an AR high schooler, and an art student, maybe i'll see you there, eh? i'm taking a couple pieces that (of course) none of you have seen b/c they are in no way anime-related (that's right, my life doesn't ENTIRELY revolve around anime. just most of it).

third: uh. i dunno. i had what all i wanted to say written out but i forgot all of it. uh. oh. my b-day is this friday. i expect gifts of frankincense and myrrh. (sp?). yeah, not really. i expect cash, no checks (god i hope you get the fact i'm joking. what, i know some dense people, i'm used to having to attach a disclaimer everytime i use sarcasm). my mum got me an early gift b/c she didn't know what to get, but i can't use it til fri. Final Fantasy XI. here's the thing though, i've never played any form of Final Fantasy. tips for the newb, anyone?

fourth: GUESS WHAT?!!!! I'M GOING TO EUROPE NEXT SPRING!!!!!!! WA HA HA HA!!! yes, europeans, prepare, prepare for my coming. ::singing:: i'm gonna see the Vatican! i'm gonna see Pisa! i'm gonna see Michelangelo's David! i'm gonna see Rome! if only i spoke italian.

one more thing: art. i'll start scanning tomorrow, as i'm on spring break and hopefully i'll have stuff posted by wednes, eh? and hopefully i'll be able to get AIM again. i don't know if i can or not. my mum's being anal about the comp. (nevermind the fact that the virus that killed the last one probably came from me. ::cringe::)

   yee-up.
i still don't have a comp. don't ask why. we've bought the stupid thing, just haven't been able to hook it up yet. ugh. haven't done much anime/manga wise. got trigun v. 2 last night. yay. ugh. i feel yucky. and i'm mad cuz i'm not going to get to put up my designs for maarii's story (if you haven't read it, go NOW) for like 2 or 3 weeks. much sadness will ensue on my part, while everyone else will say 'and i care, why?' in other news, i'm getting sick. crap. i don't have time for this. i'm also applying for mime troupe at my school next year (lower the guns, please). yeah, i go to a really artsy-fartsy school. yay. ::clonks head on desk for sleep::

   crap-monkeys!
exams are done! but no comp, i'm afraid. R.I.P. Rincewind. he crashed. or something. (i hate Gateways). i'm posting from me mam's office, i am i am. finally got some hours today @ work. i host b-day parties, by the by. not a fun job. so yeah. exams... well...
comm art: i did okay. took me all week (literally)
drawing 1: again, okay. but the teacher's moggie, hard to fail. (i love confusing you)
oils: F. i couldn't finish! i even went back yesterday, we didn't have school and STILL couldn't finish! jeebus!
geometry: easier than i thought it would be. but w/my abilities in math, we'll hope for C-.
ap english: pfft. so easy. a- or b+ for sure.
ap u.s. his.: i died. pure and simple. i wish i cared more, but i don't. ::shrug::
chemistry: ah, chemistry. in short, it gnawed on my soul and spit it out again, saying it was too stupid.
ap art history: a 65. i know b/c the teacher i have for oils i have for art his, and she told me yesterday. but it's going to have like a 15 point curve, so i'm okay. gotta go, here comes mom.

yeah i am so dead. semester exams next week. yeah, my school is wierd, we take exams 2 weeks after x-mas. i'm gonna die. i really am. and ap exams are in a few monthes, so my ap art history is going to start meetings to review for them (there's only like 12 people in our class, and we're the only class of it our teacher has so she's helping us with them), and i have to do interviews for gov school by the end of next week and have them on tape, and do a piece for gov school visual art application. i procrastinate waaay too much.

   shinedown goodness!
let me tell you about my headphones. more accurately, how PATHETIC they are. first, they're old. they work fine, but i've had them since like the 4th grade (i'm a junior in high school now). the left ear piece fell off in 6th or early 7th and is now held on with electrical tape. the little foam things that go over the ear pieces are held together with scotch tape. i LURVE my headphones! ::huggles headphones:: oh yeah. Shinedown. good band. go listen to them. "Fly From the Inside" is on the radio now i think. i heard em on music choice.

... my feet are cold. just so you know.

seriously. actually, no. what it is, see is i have to do the History Day thing. it's like Science Fair crossed with Odyssey of the Mind (if you know what that is), only with history. and my group just finished ours not 4 hours ago. til i start looking at the requirements for our project. then i figure out, crap, we're not finished. so i've got 96 words to go on the thing about how we researched it, and am pounding my brain for it. also have bibliography to do, but other group members are handling it. yay.
