can you tell that pisses me off? it does. A LOT.

in other news i ate a ton of pixie sticks today. yuuuummmm. and before i storm off i need to finish my mom's caricatures. (they moved up their x-mas party so i have to finish it a LOT earlier than i expected. nearly finished though. didn't have one teacher today (well, i'm on the block schedule thing, so i only have four teachers a day, and one i have twice so i guess it doesn't count. or something). was my bud noelle's b-day today. happy b-day noelle! XD got her maison ikkoku last night when i went x-mas shopping. well, my sister went shopping and i thought i was but i ended up getting the b-day stuff for her, shonen jump, and somehow got weaseled in to paying for half a gift for my mother. crap. i just realized since i have to visit my father after x-mas (blargh) i ought to get him something too. uh. crap. there was some golf thing i guess could work. ... i just realized i was typing all of this. i am such a freak.

la dee da. listening to Kaoru Wada's symphonic rendition of Change the World (XD). makes me think of Disney's Beauty and the Beast for some wierd reason. eh. Also in love w/music from Gravitation. yee-up. on a winamp kick. anyone know where i can find good skins? all i have is a site called Happy Phantom (which makes AWESOME skins).

   CRAPcrapCRAPcrap!!!
disney's feature animation department is hitting hard times. just got off the phone w/father (works for disney) and the feature animation department in Orlando just shut down, shipping the best to California and laying off the others. this really sucks. stupid inflation. clean-up artists should not be making 100,000 dollars a year and some WERE (read an article on that in WallStreet Jounal last summer). and you know that John Lassater, head guy for Pixar is making around 2 million a year!? know how much Eisner makes? half of that!! wtf?! anyway. feature animation is moving more and more into computers (you all saw finding nemo). traditional hand-drawn animation won't ever be gone completely, but it's sure as hell not gonna be the same as it was. it'll all be like Brother Bear. while it WAS a good movie, everything from clean-up to color is going to move onto comps. stoopid computers. i'm dejected.

garrargh!
this is something that's been eating at me for a while. in the Inuyasha anime (dub--i have no money ;_;), there is this HUGE BLATANT ANACHRONISM in the concluding eps to Kikyou's resurrection (you know the one--right before Miroku's intro, last wednesday night). it's in a flashback (Inuyasha's i think) when Inuyasha is talking to Kikyou and she's talking about her burden to guard the Shikon no Tama. Then Inuyasha gets up and says "We've all got our crosses to bear" something else and walks away. that phrase is an allusion to the christian theology (new testament) in which jesus is forced to bear his own cross to be crucified. it is generally accepted that Inuyasha takes place some 10 to 20 years before Oda Nobunaga unified Japan. tack onto that the 50 year difference where dogboy was stuck to the tree, it is incredibly unlikely that Inuyasha would know this phrase seeing as westerners didn't start trading with Japan until the late late 1600's if my memory of world history serves me... y'know. i'm probably the only person irked by that so much. but... anyone with half a brain oughta be able to reason that inuyasha as a HALF DEMON wouldn't know jack about christianity, let alone would Kikyou, a Shinto PRIESTESS, know enough of it to understand the statement.

yeah baby!
i am sooo cool. FINALLY scanned the dragon for articflames43 and submitted it. i think you'll be surprised with how it turned out. it's titled Soul Devourer. it's a shocker.

anywho. i think i'm going to draw Bankotsu's group from Inuyasha. can't remember the group title. Bankotsu was such a cool. Kouga' cooler though (my loyalties will not waver!).
