i am such a freaking wierd-o. i've actually started drawing in 2 entirely different styles, the one that's sorta up here (i.e. the one that won't pick a way to stay), and then the one i've developed in trying to work w/realism. i'll post something in it sometime. or not. what i really should do is work on my dragon and figure out how to fix the hand/claw/whatever (thanx for pointing it out, rustym!). or work on my internalization for drawing 2. but, well, i know me. and i procrastinate. a lot... i think it's the environment ::lying through her teeth::

determined!
alright! i don't have school thurs. or fri.! (thank you, AEA conference!) since i don't, i am REAAAALLLLY going to try to post some fanart, okay (quit bugging me already (you know who you are)!), AND i am really going to try to scan my current art project. i wanna see how others will respond to it (and would anyone be willing to review that portfolio dragon for me? i lurve you!).

oh and has anyone on here ever read The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien? if you haven't, it's really good! i have to read it for English, but i am definitely not complaining.

   sooo...
yeah, so i've been on a bit of a 'realism' kick. when i say realism, i am afraid i use the term loosely though as i can't draw a really realistic anything to save my life and it's really disappointing. everything just ends up cartoon-y. but it's kinda fun to take your fave animation character and do them in a realistic style (right now i'm staring at a Kenshin i did the other night on the back of some travel thing my mom printed).

oh! and there's this nifty vote-y thing a guy on here (Flava) is doing called The Ultimate Anime Character Battle. go vote for your fave anime character, is fun-fun! (heehee, Recca's going to be in one of the battle things!!! glee-eee! except he's going against Faye from Cowboy Bebop. meaning he'll probably be killed. ::cries::)

so how was everyone's all hallow's eve? splendiferous, i hope? well, MINE was. i went to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. with audience participation! it was fun! the person that organized the group thing i went with made prop kits. yay for squirt guns and throwing toast! i even got up and did the time warp, and i REALLY have no rhythm...

i got me a pumpkin. yes indeed-y, it will be carved with the visage of Amidamaru on the morrow. morrow, morrow... is that a word? i think i've heard it... ::shrug:: anywho, i get to see some of my friends from my old school again!!! ::gleeee:: and i'm also kinda working on a Kaima (Kaiza? i can't remember. fisherman guy from latest Naruto) fanart. why? because i CAN.

although, i should do my chemistry homework. the keyword in that sentence is SHOULD. (and oilsticks SUCK. a LOT. know what doesn't suck though? Adobe Illustrator, bay-bay! man, i lurve my commercial art class to no end. is so fun!)
