I HAVE SEEN THE SISTINE CHAPEL!!!!
and the david! his haaands. the pictures in the books don't do justice to those hands. or even David himself. AND LA PIÉTA. La Piéta is one of my favorite pieces, and definitely my favorite Michelangelo. i died a little in front of it. and roman ruins! and the Duomo and the Pantheon and Pisa and the Mediterranean and oh god in barcelona? alison discovered Antonio Gaúdi, the architect. i slobbered all over myself. i just can't describe how unbelievably grateful i am that i got to see these things before i died. (i'm an art student, cut my over dramatic butt a break). i'll tell you more details on my exploits tommorrow. i need sleep NOW.
