ho diddle diddle dum day.
so i will know expound some of my more interesting exploits in europe in short. one guy got a pad (yes as in feminine hygience) stuck to his back on the plane and teacher laughed herself to tears at the other passengers' expressions. my luggage got lost between atlanta and rome. i accidentally said 'damn' in the Sistine Chapel. then got me a pope rosary. have contraband from the roman ruins in my purse. had some hella tight local guides in rome and florence (the one in rome actually had her photo taken by some guy in the Capitol Square in front of the equestrian statue of marcus aurelius) and she yelled at him a LOT, only later to find out from our group's guide that he was in fact a world famous photographer which actually did nothing to curb her outrage). lost a couple people in Vatican City (they unfortunately missed la pieta). this was rome. florence was uneventful, except of course for David (slobber and die). then was nice, in france. nice was quite nice (ha, unintentional pun), saw the mediterranean, and bought a laundry hamper shaped like a duck. got lost for an hour or so in nice, not fun, but i did come to terms with my control freak-ness. and got a giant bottle of orangina out of the biggest vending machine i've ever seen in my life. in monaco we say the yacht of some arabian prince with a helicopter pad on it. and bill gates' summer home. i'd die to live there. some people swore they saw alice cooper there (in monaco). saw pont-du-gard after nimes (not nice), and went to a torture museum in carcassone (the torture instrument for bad musicians made me giggle a bit). finally, barcelona where i discovered gaudi and his works, including the cathedral of the sagrada family (in the works for the past 100 years and still needs 20 more). got lost in barcelona for 3 hours with 6 others when we got off at the wrong bus stop. (rawr. grr.) got a little bit drunk that night, and will not repeat it as i liked it waaay too much for someone with a family history of alcoholism. so in a nut shell, there's my trip. have already dropped my photos off for development, will maybe even upload one or two. i've also been asleep basically since my last post through to 4.30 a.m.
