huh.
you know. that Bionicle movie. surprisingly good for a movie about legoes. fairly high quality (higher than i expected. water looked horrid, but the way they handled light was pretty good). and one of the voices sounded a LOT like Sauron from LOTR.
you know one thing that computer animation still hasn't gotten yet? the look of something touching. it looks like the touching objects are on the verge of it, but like a hair away.
and another inuyasha anachronism, from somewhere around eps. 35 or 36 (maaaybe 34)! anywho. inuyasha's digging graves w/Miroku and complains about all the good deeds he's been doing lately, likening it to the Good Samaritan. which is a bible story. i've said it before, i'll say it again, 16th century Japan had little to no contact w/the West, meaning NO CHRISTIANITY. how do i know it's the 16th century (a.k.a., alison feels like telling you where she got her timeframe)? eps. 8, when they meet that little dude named Nobunaga. in all likelihood, that is Oda Nobunaga (Kagome even thought it was him at first, but he said his name was something else, but i'll bet it's him or a descendent or something), and Oda conquered Japan mid-16th century. before western contact. besides. Inuyasha: DEMON. do you really think that a demon would regularly allude to christian theology? no, and if you do, you're a bit odd! meeeeh, get it together, writers!
okay, i'm done.
