My Grandmother just passed away. It was the chemotherapy that did it. The years of smoking and cancer didn't help though.
Christmas eve will never be the same.
Oh, and I got second place on my bread and cake at the fair. If you care. Comments (5) |

And AWAAAY I go!
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
Don't worry, I'm not going away forever. We're going to Maine for the next week! Lotsa fun. It's a short walk to the beach, there's an awesome candy shop that pulls the toffee right in the window (smells fantastic, even though I'm not partial to the stuff), an arcade, and we have a pool too. Last time we got the pool up to 98 degrees! It was like a hot tub.
Not much else to say. Have fun with whatever you're doing!
It turns out my grandmother (dad's side) definetly has cancer. It sucks, but it's not like we weren't expecting it. She's been smoking since her teens. I don't really know how much longer she has, we can only wait and wish her luck.
So I took a driving test recently. It was okay, but I felt like a freakin chore boy! I had to pick up laundry, drop off two people, pick up sandwiches, pick up another person, fill up on gas, and some other stuff. But I didn't make any mistakes, so that was good.
Also, I've almost completely beaten the new Mario Bros. I just have to pick up some extra star coins in world seven and world eight, and I'm done! Yeah!
And my sister is coming back soon. Double yeah!
And a new avatar. Silly Robin, we know that's you!
All right, might be going to DarkHammer's later for some D+D. See you all later! Comments (3) |

No news from here.
Seriously, I've got nothing. I'm going to a party later today, but otherwise I've been doing nothing. Here's a video, and have a nice day.
Connecticon, Cooking, and Australia
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
Sorry that its been so long, but I've been kinda busy. Last weekend we went down to Connecticon, a convention in Hartford, and I gotta tell ya it was a blast. I went as Jafar, just for the hell of it. Turns out everyone loves Jafar! I had many pictures taken, and I was glomped twice by Larxene. I was also drafted into the anime dating game, which was...peculiar...but entertaining. That was on Friday, and I just went normally on Saturday and Sunday. I procured these adorable little badges, that are basically like crack. I wound up getting four! Canti (from FLCL), Spike, Shikamaru, and Franky now adorn my "closet". I also won a few Magic games, played some D+D (yeah, I'm a total nerd, I know.) and bought a cool looking One Piece Naruto headband. Does that me a One Piece freak or a Narutard? Probably both.
There were some great costumes there. I saw Clouds, Narutos, Sanjis, and Tifas galore. But the best costume with out a doubt was Voldo. This guy was actually wearing a frickin codpiece! He had the movements down and the white skin...ugh, it was so creepy! Excellent costume, but so damn creepy!
I also met a cool guy in line who later cosplayed as Zoro. One Piece forever!
So, this week Bellamy and I took a cooking class at the local college. It was fun, but the kids in our group kept messing up! They would rush everything, and then miss a critical step in the directions! And later, on wensday if I recall, they found a telephone in the break room and actually dialed 911. They apparently thought it was broken, and it was a damn good thing no one was holding a knife when the cop showed up. Goddamn retards.
On a final note, my sister's going to Australia tomorrow! I'm going to be so bored! Wish her luck! Oh, and this damn J key is broken. If you care.
How are you doing everybody? I'm doing swell right now. Just got up (it's 2:00) and I'm raring to go! Alas, I have no where to go.
So, last Tuesday (July 4th) Darkhammer, Kitty and our friend Aaron went to go see Superman. Very good movie, but the thing that got me the most excited was the teaser for Spiderman 3. Venom's coming!
So after the movie, Aaron was hungry, so we went to get some McDonalds. Well, the nearby McDonalds didn't connect to the theater parking lot. So Aaron says "drive across the grass, it'll be fine!" I objected heartily. And who did Darkhammer listne to? Not me. So it turned out that the grassy area was actually a cleverly disguised swamp, and we nearly got stuck. Then we went to another McDonalds to avoid mockery.
On the way home, these people pulled behind us. No big deal, happens all the time. Then we pull onto a backroad. Still following. Darkhammer even turned on his blinker to pretend to turn and went straight, and they did the same thing. They were following us. And to top it all off, it started to storm. Hard. Like you couldn't see. Perfect horror movie setting. So we managed to get to Hammer's house (they didn't follow up the driveway) and got inside and turned on the T.V. A few minutes later, I hear a car pull in the driveway. It was Hammer's bro Nick, whom he almost attacked. Good times, good times.
Why was there BACON in the soap?!?!
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
It's July! And almost July 4th at that. So all you non Americans, weep! For you won't get to enjoy the revelry! Bwahahahaha!!!!
*cough* Anyway, Last night Darkhammer stayed over, and we watched National Geographic into the wee hours of the morning. There were some pretty cool shows on, like The Science of Superman and Human Superpowers. There was a guy who shoved a sword through his man-jugs and was totally fine. No bleeding, no pain, just a guy walking around with a sword in his chest. Bleh, leave me outta that religion, thanks. So I went to go to bed, and I realized I needed to brush my teeth. I turn on the light, and Jesus! There's a spider. Not your wimpy, average spider, this thing was the size of my frickin finger! I don't mind spiders, but big ones with spindly legs just creep me out. Thankfully it was dead, so we popped it in a bag and later identified it as a thin-legged wolf spider. Ugh.
So today I go to take a shower, and I turn over the soap to find, bacon. Yes, my sister put bacon in the soap. It's an Invader Zim reference, and one that made me chuckle at that. Thanks sis, now I'm gonna gets zits. Pustulio!
Also went to a friends party this week, and it was really fun. But I do regret wearing sandals, as my feet are now swollen red with mosquito bites. Damn insects.
Lastly, a poll! It's been a while since I did one. Who is your favorite CP9 member?
9. Nero
8. Blueno
7. Fukurou
6. Califa
5. Spandam
4. Lucci
3. Kumadori
2. Jyabura
1. Kaku
Sorry about the lack of posting. This past weekend was a BEEOTCH. Thursday and Friday I had to stay after to work for a dance center thing, and there were a lot of people. Probably the most we've ever had on stage at once...and then I had to go back Saturday and Sunday to do the play (which went quite well), so all in all I've been rather exhausted. plus I've got finals this week and I must say I'm dreading the pre-cal one. Not too many people ever pass it.
Yeah, so we lost power yesterday. I was thinking, "That's okay, i can still go on the internet, I've got a laptop!" The I realized that our wireless router was down too, so I dropped to my knees and dramatically shouted "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!"
I think I have a jesus fish. Seriously. My pet goldfish has come back from the dead not once, not twice, but three freakin times. He's a little swimming miracle. Not to mention he's six years old. Yeah Gil! But it's starting to scare me a little.
Oh crap, I fell through the stairs.
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
Morning everybody. I haven't written anything in ages! I guess it's been kinda boring around here.
Just finished Julius Caesar in class. Not too bad, but it's not my favorite Shakespeare. Hamlet is better. I got to be Brutus in the last scene, and I made a funny little dying noise, but no one heard it. There was also a character named Clitus, and everyone kept pronouncing it the, "improper" way (you figure it out) and the teacher eventually stepped in and fixed our error. It was pretty damn funny!
Yeah, so my friend had a birthday party yesterday, and that was fun. I made some cookies, and 2 whole plates were gone in 30 minutes! Anyone who showed up late didn't get one! I guess my friends really like my cooking.
And I wrecked everyone in DDR.
Yep, so we are going to look at a new dog today. I'm really not sure if I want another one though. I still miss my Maxi...he was a awesome dog.
Red, White, and Tired
HEY!HEY!HE...oh forget it...
Just finished the Memorial day parades. All three of them. Damn that bass drum is annoying. I really shouldn't complain, at least I didn't have the giant one this time. And it didn't get scorching until the last parade, so that was fantastic. And I didn't step in any animal crap or corpses! Yeah!
So last week I spent every day after school working on the play, and it has been canceled. Why? Someone (leading lady) had to go and do some cocaine. Now she can't even go to her graduation. I'm still mad at her, but I do feel kinda bad. Her dad won't even talk to her, and I don't know what her friends will think about her now...
Also saw The Da Vinci Code this weekend. Meh. The acting was good and all, but the plot felt rushed. I'd suggest the book. We also stayed at Hammer's house, and he just went out of it. He was so overtired he made a strawberry/hot dog/jello smoothie. Thank god he threw it out. And we played Guitar Hero, which is mind numbingly awesome! I need to buy it now.
Not much else to say. I just want some grilled food, a comfy couch, and a hefty drink.
