I'm not actually the Juggernaut, but sometimes I wish I was...
Yeah, so MCAS start tomorrow. It stands for Massachusetts something Academic something. Basically, they see if you get to pass high school or not. I'm not worried about passing, I'm just hoping I get a good grade....If I do, I could get a scholarship! That would be fantastic.
In the Hall of the Mountain King
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
That's just the song I'm listening to right now. No real relevance.
I just watched Princess Mononoke last night, and by god, do I love that movie. It's so good!
I'm pretty bored right now, so I'm just wondering, what are your top 5 Disney movies? Not including the Ghibli films. Here's mine!
5. Bedknobs and Broomsticks
This movie has an army of possesed suits of armor fighting Nazis at the end. Nuff said.
4. The Nightmare Before Christmas
Tim Burton rocks! I absolutely love the opening song of this movie, and Oogie Boogie is a great villain.
3. Pirates of the Carribean
Even though it's fairly recent, it's still a classic. Johnny Depp is phenominal, and the special effects are great.
2. Mulan
I love the art style of this movie, and the songs are cool too. But it nags the second spot mainly because of the villain, Shan-Yu. He's really menacing, and he's not into that namby pamby betrayal stuff like every other disney villain. Go Huns!
1. The Lion King
This one's a no brainer. It's just so good overall. The Stampede scene is still one of the most heartbreaking scenes in all of cinema.
One more question! How do you think the Water 7 arc is going to end? I think that they'll rescue Robin, and the government will put bounty's on all of them, and probably double Luffy's. And I do believe Franky will join the crew, and Usopp will come back. Still not sure about the Merry go however.
A brief stroll always does one good
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
God, I love the weekend. I slept till noon today, got to have doughnuts for breakfast, and then went for a lovely walk in the woods behind my house. My sister and I definetly went farther then we ever have before, and saw a lot of nifty new things. And, she also stepped in turkey crap, which was absolutely hilarious. It happened like this. I was trying to cross the stream, but I had to jump it. The bank I was jumping to had turkey crap on it, and I understandibly didn't want to land in it. "Could you move that crap?" I asked. She walks over, and steps in it. "Where?" She asks. "Under your foot." "Oh." So I didn't have to worry about landing in it anymore! Huzzah!
On a sadder note, I did indeed fail the test I mentioned on Wensday. Urg...at least it didn't lower my grade as much as I thought it would...If I can get my grade up to an A by the end of the year I'll be amazed with myself. I have set my goal!
I'm noticing that. My room does not have a closet. Odd. Anyway, I'm just writing this post to kill some time. I took a pre-cal test today, and I know I failed it. No doubt in my mind. We didn't even learn half the stuff! Urrgghh...how annoying. And I really needed to get a good grade on that test too...this stinks...
Yes, so I don't know what to say now...umm...I'd do a fancy trick, but you guys can't see that. Maybe I'll just wrap this up now. Eventually, I'll finish the tales of my trip and my Magic posts, but not today. See ya! Comments (4) |

I don't have school today!
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
Ha! Parent teacher conferences! Very nice! I'm just going to put up some videos today, because I'm like that. The first one is Shino vs kankuro to Wings of a Butterfly and another song that I don't remember. The second is basically the straw hats getting the crap beaten out of them. and the third one is a little more upbeat. Enjoy!
Indiana Jones and the Nettles of Doom
I'm removing those videos for a while, because I have to check something. I'll put them back up if I'm wrong.
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
Okay, I lied in my last post. I've decided for timing sake, I skip the rest of London stuffs and move on to the rest of my journey. Next stop, Wales.
Wales is a drop dead gorgeous country. I fell in love the minute I stepped off the bus. It just felt so right...the first hotel we stayed at was actually a mini castle, called Caer Lhan(for those who don't know welsh, it's pronounced kai er lawn). Thing is, it was placed in a rather precarious spot. We had to manuver a bus uphill, backwards, and next to a cliff just to get there. It was worth it. They had free Coke(as in soda, druggy), a fantastic view and a coughing sheep. Yep. Every hour, it would sound 'baaa-hack hack' it was hilarious. Speaking of sheep, there are a hell of a lot of sheep over there. I'll wager more sheep than people. Scary...
Wales is pretty woodsy. There are even signs on roads that say 'watch for low hanging trees'. And in woods, there is often some sort of unfortunate plant. Here, we have poison ivy(for you city slickers, it makes you itchy. real itchy.) But over the sea, there is a plant called the nettle. It makes your arms swell, and sting, and hurt like a bitch. I never got near any of the stuff, but my friend did. And boy, did he complain. I hate nettles for that sole reason. Curse you nettles!!!
I didn't spend too much time in Wales the first time around, so there isn't that much else to say. I did see the castle in the capital, but I cannot remember its name. See you around! Comments (3) |

Indiana Jones and the Cheesecake of Doom
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
It's me again. I've decided that since my sister is sick, and she doesn't like my Magic posts, that I will postpone them for a little while. This week will be England week! Feel free to hum that tune. I'll tell you all about my trip over the Atlantic last summer.
Okay, so I was picked to join this ambassador program called People to People, and they send kids all around the globe. A couple of my friends came too, so that was cool. The flight was 8 hours long, and that is an unnecessarily long time to leave a candy bar in your pocket (believe me). So, we got off our flight and met our guide for the next three weeks. His name was Steve, and he was Irish. Steve was a really cool guy. He didn't have a lot of hair, was kinda short, and was a wee bit plump. He had problems saying the number thirty three, due to his accent. We'd make fun of him for that, since it would come out 'tirty tree'.
So, our first stop was Hampton Court Palace in London, home of Henry VIII. I got to see some of those famous red telephone booths on the way! The thing is, they have, well, porn in them. You know, those pictures with the numbers under them. I found that a little gross, but was too busy dodging traffic to really dwell on it. We lost 4 kids on the first road crossing because they looked the wrong way. It was sad, to say the least. Hampton Court Palace is bloody huge! My group was walking around for 6 hours, and we only saw about half! It probably didn't help that we got lost(curse you, hedge maze!) but it was very impressive, none-the-less.
Okay, so it's been at least 14 hours since Any of us has eaten (I don't count airplane food, and neither should you.) So Steve takes us to an "Italian" restraunt. I emphasize that because it wasn't really Italian. We were served Cornish Pasties, which I found fairly enjoyable. The whole situation was funny. Here we were, in an Italian restraunt run by Spanish guys, eating English food, in London. Then dessert rolls along. We have two options. Fruit, or cheesecake. Everyone at our table orders, and then he gets to me. I say fruit. The waiter cocks his head, and says "Cheesecake?" I politely reapeat myself. Again, "Cheesecake?" Apparently the man was hell-bent on me eating cheesecake. He was also making a shuffly hand motion the whole time, which I wish I could show you. After repeating myself about ten times he got the message, and I got my pear.
Next time, I stay at an odd hotel, meet a member of parliament, and watch Bialistock and Bloom go to the top. So long!
Good morning! Literally, good morning. I just woke up 30 minutes ago. I watched FMA last night, and it was so intense! I'm so excited to see how it all ends!
Next up for my Magicness is Blue. Blue is the color of thought. If you like to make up huge impossibly ridiculous combos, blue is for you. Blue likes to draw a lot of cards, which is like saying "I have more spells, I'm smarter, ha!" blue also gets flying creatures. Lots of them. Another thing blue likes to do is be in control. Whether its through bounce, tapping or just countering, blue wants to own the board. Blue is also very thoughtful of the future, planning ahead to make sure it's still in the lead. Blues allys are white and black, and its enemies are red and green. Blues weakness is it doesn't get a lot of creatures. However, every once in a while, blue gets a behemoth of a creature. Creatures that could eat New York for breakfast.
All right, some blue anime characters!
Shikamaru: Sorry for using another Naruto character, but he fits so well! He is the essence of blue, thinking things out before his opponent.
Gandalf the Gray: Okay, so he's not an anime character. But he is really smart, and he's a wizard! Wizards always show up in blue!
By the way, if this article seemed different than the other one, it's because I don't like Blue. If my opponent wants to play something, they should be allowed to. Once it's in play, I can wreck it. I do however love the color combos with blue, especially Blue/Red. Go Niv-Mizzet!
So long!
P.S. Don't listen to Darkhammer87. He doesn't even understand the sacrifice after blocking rule that is indeed legal.
P.P.S. I realize that I accidentally got rid of some posts...oops. Comments (5) |

I would just like to inform you that I got an 88 on my MCAS pretest thing in English, which was a three way tie for the highest score in the class. Woot!
Today I'm going to write about a topic that many of you may not know anything about. That is Magic: The Gathering. It's a card game, kinda like Yu-Gi-Oh except better (Don't kill me, Yu-Gi-Oh fans!) There is a fine philosophy behind the game, and I'm going to talk about how it works. If you don't like this kind of thing, go away and read some anime post. If you don't mind, stick around, you might learn something.
There are 5 different colors to play in Magic, and they are white, blue, black, red, and green. (That makes WUBRG!) You can make decks with any combination, or singular, your choice. Each color runs on some themes, and some anime characters do too! I'll match em up for you along the way.
First up, white. White is the color of peace, and community. White likes everyone to get along. It also likes rules. Rules make order, and if there is order, everyone gets along, right? White is also the most religious of the colors, since religions are basically big, organized groups. White cards emphasize on defense, and balance. White's most famous card, Wrath of God, destroys all creatures, therefore balancing everything out. White's enemys are black and red, for what they represent. (Each color has two enemy colors, and two ally colors)
It's allys are green and blue. White's biggest weakness is its lack of big creatures.
Some anime characters that fit white's personalities are
Kakashi: He loves his teamwork! If his cell isn't getting along, Kakashi isn't happy.
Kenshin: Kenshin believes that everyone can get along. But, if evil rears it's head, he's not afraid to take it down with style.
Wow, that was longer than I thought! Gonna have to space these out. So next time, we hit the library with Blue. Don't forget to eat lotsa ketchup! Comments (2) |
