Connecticon, Cooking, and Australia
HEY!HEY!HEY!HEY!!!
Sorry that its been so long, but I've been kinda busy. Last weekend we went down to Connecticon, a convention in Hartford, and I gotta tell ya it was a blast. I went as Jafar, just for the hell of it. Turns out everyone loves Jafar! I had many pictures taken, and I was glomped twice by Larxene. I was also drafted into the anime dating game, which was...peculiar...but entertaining. That was on Friday, and I just went normally on Saturday and Sunday. I procured these adorable little badges, that are basically like crack. I wound up getting four! Canti (from FLCL), Spike, Shikamaru, and Franky now adorn my "closet". I also won a few Magic games, played some D+D (yeah, I'm a total nerd, I know.) and bought a cool looking One Piece Naruto headband. Does that me a One Piece freak or a Narutard? Probably both.
There were some great costumes there. I saw Clouds, Narutos, Sanjis, and Tifas galore. But the best costume with out a doubt was Voldo. This guy was actually wearing a frickin codpiece! He had the movements down and the white skin...ugh, it was so creepy! Excellent costume, but so damn creepy!
I also met a cool guy in line who later cosplayed as Zoro. One Piece forever!
So, this week Bellamy and I took a cooking class at the local college. It was fun, but the kids in our group kept messing up! They would rush everything, and then miss a critical step in the directions! And later, on wensday if I recall, they found a telephone in the break room and actually dialed 911. They apparently thought it was broken, and it was a damn good thing no one was holding a knife when the cop showed up. Goddamn retards.
On a final note, my sister's going to Australia tomorrow! I'm going to be so bored! Wish her luck! Oh, and this damn J key is broken. If you care.
See you!
