ApocAcrylic Launch
So yesterday me and the dudes launched a fashion, lifestyle, and street culture blog called ApocAcrylic. Im really proud of it and if u can actually stand me u should check it out at apocacryliccrew.blogspot.com or apocacryliccrew.tumblr.com.
Other than that i havent done much at all ive looked into the crazy new dance hip hop scene that has risen up in chicago. And its all pretty dope. Beepers, Day-Glo colors (much like those in my background), old kicks, huge glasses. It all feels so natural to me.
I've listened to nothing but kid sister, the cool kids, and kid cudi all week and im hooked. I've even begun the search for a beeper that actually functions in all the hysteria. One of my friends has called me a hipster and i think she may be right which could be a bad thing.
Wish me luck on my search for horribly outdated technology wont you?
P.s. arggggghhhhh, someone at nike has put into production my idea i had for future soles..... i am sad

An All Star Weekend
Thursday was valentines day... A lotta interesting stuff going on at the high school. I got a paper heart from my girlfriend, anything that shows me she thinks about me is good enough for me. I wrote her a poem 10th period, she seems to like it a lot and i'm glad cause i put a lot of myself into it.
Friday was pretty uneventful: my best friend brendan came back from college, I spent some time with him. Video games and such.
today was much more interesting: We saw cloverfield, that movie shook me a bit cause of its craziness. It has a way of sucking you in.
On a note that doesn't revolve around giant monsters: Being a rather tall kid i love basketball. Its all star weekend in the nba and i love the dunk contests every year, ever since i was little i've dreamt of soaring through the air and slamming the ball through the hoop. Tonight's contest brought me back to being a little kid and the wonder it used to inspire in me, just take a look...
p.s. Crank Dat Superman!!!! Dwight Howard is a monsta!
There might be a goku dunk in the works for our student versus teacher game this year. Comments

Me, Myself, and Pie
So today was random as always. I had two slices of pie for lunch and we had the most entertaining innuendo-filled conversation about pie. lolz
I went through my classes, listless as usual. In english we have to do a lyric analysis project and i chose De La Souls' "Me, Myself, and I" to analyze because it strikes a chord with me about individuality and finding your own way.(In a bizarre twist of fate i went with my mom to find glasses last night and the glasses i got look just like posdnuos' from that group)
Then after school i found refuge under the staircase in the science wing and had a great discussion with my friend taylor about codeine cough syrup mixed with hawaiian punch, black super-heroes, waffle house waffles, anime, hipster hop, and everything else under the sun.
Opening Day
So the new auditorium opened and it wasn't nearly as bad as i first thought. The orchestra astounds me as usual and we didn't stink up the joint so its was a good night for all.
We have a dance coming up on saturday and it looks to be pretty awesome because i love DJ'ing its such a blast and my outfit is killer like an orca.
