Naruto: Cross-Dimension Invaders

Ch. 1: Enter the Invaders

It was just another normal, boring school day. Jessi and Ellen were sitting in their fourth-period class, yearbook. They were utterly bored and had no idea what to do. They glanced around the room to find something to amuse themselves, and their glance fell on a mysterious closet in the back of the room. Jessi smiled and looked at Ellen. "What do you think is in there?" she asked.
"Prob'ly and A.C. or heating unit," Ellen answered.
"Oh, hush, you smart-alec!" Jessi told her. "Let's go check it out!"
Ellen sighed, not really wanting to get up and go look at a boring closet. "Fine," she said.
"Yay!" cheered Jessi. Jessi ran as fast as she could to the closet, Ellen trailing slowly behind. Jessi obviously got there first, and tried to open the door. It didn't budge. "It's either A, stuck, or B, locked!" Jessi told Ellen. "What do you think?"
Ellen stepped forward. "Here, let me try." As soon as her hand touched the door-knob, there was a flash. Ellen and Jessi disappeared into a portal. The portal had a strange effect calming effect, and after the initial shock wore off, Jessi was enjoying her self immensely. Ellen didn't like to travel that much and was half asleep.
"This is fun!" Jessi yelled.
"Are we there yet?" Ellen asked tiredly.
Jessi looked around. "Wait...Are we going somewhere?"
Ellen started. "I sure hope so!"
They screamed as the realization that they might be stuck forever in an odd portal struck them. They flailed around for a while, panicking. Then Jessi suddenly stopped freaking out and asked Ellen, "Ellen...Are we moving?"
Ellen was still panicked and yelled, "I HAVE NO IDEA!!!" Jessi felt the ground, both of their eyes being closed from blind panic.
"We're on dirt!" she exclaimed. They stood up and listened to what sounded like an awkward silence. They slowly opened their eyes. "Where are we?" Jessi asked.
"I dunno..." Ellen replied. "Hey, do you recognize these people?" she asked.
"I think so...This place looks like the Forest of Death." Jessi said. They both stared around at frozen battle scene. They were in the middle of some ninjas fighting. They suddenly realized that they had somehow been transported into the world of Naruto!
They looked bewilderedly around at all the familiar characters. Ellen looked right at Dosu. “Hey!” Ellen said. “Is that that guy?” she asked, twitching her head like Dosu’s. She always called him “that guy” with her head tilted off to one side like his.
“I don’t know,” Jessi said. “Hang on.” She waved at Dosu, getting his attention. He looked at her with wide eyes of confusion. “Hey! Is your name Dosu?” Jessi yelled at him. Dosu hesitated for a second before nodding. “It IS DOSU!” Jessi screamed.
Ellen said slowly, with building excitement, “We…are…in…NARUTO!!!!!” She screamed the last word. Jessi cheered elatedly. They both jumped around in joy for a while. The ninjas had a bead of sweat run down their heads. Jessi suddenly stopped and looked around. “Hey, I recognize this fight scene!” she said.
“Oh crude, we’re right in the middle of it!” Ellen said. Jessi grinned evilly. “Lee’s unconscious,” she cackled. “Oh dang,” Ellen moaned. She knew what was coming.
“YAY! LEE!!!” Jessi screamed. She ran over and tackled Lee, hugging him mercilessly. Ellen fell over anime-style. At that moment, Tamzen, one of Ellen and Jessi’s friends, popped up right next to Ellen.
“Ohmigosh, Tamzen! Where did you come from?” Ellen asked in surprise.
“Hi,” Tamzen answered. “Um…I kinda just fell out of the umm…sky?”
“Sweet,” Ellen replied. “Oh, by the way, if ya didn’t notice, we are in Naruto.”
Tamzen looked skeptical. “We’re IN Naruto? Like, he has a weird inside body.”
Ellen sighed. “No, idiot, in the anime show Naruto.”
“I knew that,” Tamzen said smugly. “I was teaching you proper English.” A sweat drop ran down Ellen’s head. She then looked around confusedly. “Where has Jessi gotten to?”
“Over there,” Tamzen answered. “Can you not tell from the squeaking of dilapidated squirrels?”
“Ah. Of course,” Ellen said. Both of them glanced over to where Jessi was hugging Lee ferociously around the neck. Jessi looked up and noticed Tamzen.
“Hey, Tamzen!” she yelled. “How’d you get here?!”
“I fell out of the sky. I don’t really know what I fell out of on the other side,” Tamzen answered. Jessi nodded. “I see, I see,” Jessi said. “You guys do realize you’re standing right in the middle of a battle, right?” she asked. Ellen looked around at the ninjas standing on either side of her. “What…battle?” Tamzen asked. She looked at the ninjas too. “Oh…crap,” she said before falling on her knees in fear. Ellen was still looking back and forth at the ninjas fearfully. Jessi was already hiding in a hollow tree. With Lee, of course.
“You might want to get out of the way now,” Jessi said with a cattish smile. Ellen suddenly appeared behind Jessi, leaving Tamzen standing by herself. Tamzen whimpers. “Help!”
“Love to, but…”Jessi said.
“Fine…” Ellen sighs. “I’ll go.” Ellen jumps back out to where Tamzen is and pulls her into the tree, chucking Lee out to make room. “Ooo! A tree! Goodbye Lee. Hey…that rhymed,” Tamzen said.
“Hey!” Jessi protested. “Don’t throw him out!”
“He’ll live. We wouldn’t,” Ellen replied caustically. They sat and watched as the battle continued. When it was over and the Sound Ninjas had left, Ellen, Jessi, and Tamzen crawled out of the tree trunk. About that time, Neji and Tenten jumped out of the exact same tree that the three had been hiding in, startling them. They then crawled back into the tree. Shikamaru and Choji woke Naruto up, and everyone walked over and looked into the tree trunk.
“Um…We need him,” Tenten said to Jessi. Ellen and Tamzen looked back at her. She was hugging Lee again. A sweat drop ran down Jessi’s head. “What?!” she asked.
“It seems you are a tad clingy,” Tamzen told her.
“Yeah. Just a bit,” Ellen seconded. “Try to stop choking him, why don’t ya?” she suggested. Ellen and Tamzen then proceeded to try and wrest Lee away from Jessi, but she wouldn’t let go. Ellen sighed and crawled out of the tree. When she stood up, Naruto was right in her face.
“AAH!” Ellen yelled and fell over backward.
“Where’d you three come from?” Naruto asked.
Ellen picked herself off the ground and dusted herself off. “Uh…” she said. “It’s kinda hard to explain. I guess we came from another dimension.”
Sasuke said coldly, “Why don’t you guys come out so we can talk in an open area?” The other two got out of the tree. They stood in a close circle. Some of the ninjas were glaring angrily at the three friends. Jessi still had a hold on Lee.
“Let go of Lee, weirdo!” Tenten told Jessi. Jessi stuck her tongue out at Tenten.
“Jessi. Take a deep breath. And walk away,” Tamzen said. Jessi took a deep breath and walked a few steps away, still holding Lee. “And let him go,” Tamzen added.
“WHY?!?!?” Jessi wailed.
“Cause you’re acting like a stalker,” Ellen answered. “And it’s disturbing ALL of us.”
“But a stalker FOLLOWS the person around, not CARRIES him!” Jessi argued.
Neji sighed. “Look, we need him to pass this test. Now, let him go or answer to us!” he told Jessi angrily.
“Let him go before they kill us!” Ellen said in a whisper to Jessi. Jessi frowned. “No they won’t...”
“Look at Neji and Tenten’s faces. Then answer again,” Tamzen told Jessi. Jessi looked at them then looked back at Ellen and Tamzen. She slowly and sadly placed Lee on the ground, crossed her arms, and started walking off.
“Wait a second!” Sakura yelled at her. “You aren’t going anywhere until you tell us where you came from!”
“Shut up!” Jessi yelled back. “I’ll do what I want! I know all of your techniques like the back of my hand, so don’t stop me! I can take care of myself!”
“You may know her techniques, but ya still can’t fight worth a flip,” Ellen told Jessi.
“I said, SHUT UP!!!” Jessi yelled furiously. She marched away from them into the surrounding woods. Ellen twitched. “What was that about?” she asked. Tamzen started to laugh. “What is so funny??” Ellen asked her angrily. “Jessi just ran into the woods full of all sorts of ninjas trying to kill each other, not to mention Orochimaru!!”
Tamzen kept laughing. “Heh heh heh. That’s what’s so funny,” she said.
“HOW IS THAT FUNNY!?!” Ellen yelled.
“I knew she’d do this,” Tamzen replied. “But don’t worry. Nothing bad is going to happen.
Ellen looked confused. “…er, how do you know?” she asked.
“I had a vision,” Tamzen told her. “But if we want to save her, we may want to leave now. Because she’s about to get caught.”
“By who?” Ellen asked.
“The Sound Ninjas,” Tamzen answered. “5…4…”
“The HECK!! (3…) Then what are (2…) we waiting (1…)” A loud scream was heard. “For…?” Ellen trailed off. “Dang…”
“I suggest saving her butt now,” Tamzen said.
“…It’s a drag, but we’ll help…” Shikamaru said. “If one of you will wake Lee, he’ll help no question…”
Ellen grabbed Lee and started shaking him. “WAKE UP!” she shouted in his face.
“That’s not going to work,” Tamzen told her, a knowing smirk on her face.
Ellen dropped him with a thud. “Well, how are we going to wake him up?” she asked. Tenten walked over and kicked Lee in the head, sending him flying into a tree.
“Like that,” Tenten told Ellen. “Don’t worry, it didn’t hurt him that bad,” she said, seeing the surprised look on Ellen’s face.
“You mean that’s all I had to do?!” Ellen said exasperatedly.
“Breathe, Ellen, breathe,” Tamzen told her.
When the dust cleared, Lee was standing on the ground rubbing the back of his head where Tenten had kicked him. One of his legs was stuck in a tree. “Ow…” he said. “You always did pack a good kick, Tenten.”
“Right,” Ellen nodded. “Now we have to go save Jessi!”
“Hm?” Lee said. “Who might you be?”
