   Snowfields
Something terrible happened here two or three hundred years ago, resulting in devastating wars that ravaged the planet. Old battlefields and abandoned weaponry now litter the terrain. The planet has also entered an ice age, so snow blankets the land. You can see a good example of this in Episode 4, when Kiba and the others are attacked by an unmanned while traveling through the snow. Since one dome city is as bleak as the next, there's little reason for people to travel from one place to another, which only adds to the desolation and economic decay of the outer enviornments.

   Dome City
The story begins when Kiba stumbles into the dome city where Tsume leads a band of thieves on the streets. Hige and Taboe live there as well, leading somewhat quieter lives. All four wolves have troubled pasts, but they meet by chance and leave the city together in Episode 3. The entire city seems to be falling apart, a sign of the slow and inexorable decay of the world.

   What is "Paradise"?
It's a place said to exist somewhere on this planet. There are all sorts of theories and rumors about it among both humans and wolves, but no one has actually ever seen it. People say that Darcia the First came closest to it, but as a result his family fell under the curse of Paradise.
