Square Enix announced a new PS2 party board game called Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Special, which will feature characters from both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest series, including Cloud, Tifa, Chocobo, Yuna, Rikku, Paine, slime....
- Here are some new images of Hudson's PS2 RPG Tengai Makyou III Namida, the game is scheduled to release in Japan in spring 2005.
- Sammy announced they will release a PS2 port of the Atomiswave fighting game The Rumble Fish, the game is scheduled to release in Japan this winter.
- Here are some new images of Koei's Sengoku Musou Moushouden (Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends) for PS2, the game is scheduled to release in Japan on September 16.

- Sony has released new preview video of Capcom's Biohazard Outbreak: File 2 for PS2, the game is scheduled to release in Japan on September 9.

- Capcom announced they have pushed back the release date of Killer 7 for GameCube and PS2 from this winter to sometimes in Spring 2005 in Japan.

- Eidos confirmed that they will reveal new details of the latest Tomb Raider game title at the beginning of 2005, the game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics. A playable demo will be available at E3 2005.

- Namco revealed its new arcade light gun shooting game Cobra The Arcade, the game is based on the classic anime Cobra, you can use the action pedal to dodge enemy attacks, and use Cobra's special attack Psycho Shot from his left arm.....




- Taito has officially announced the arcade shooter Raiden III, the 3rd installment of the popular vertical scrolling shooter. The game is being developed by will run on the new Windows XP embedded arcade system Type-X. The release date is spring 2005.



- Taito has also revealed another Type-X arcade shooter Shikigami no Shiro III, the game is developed by Alfa System, and it is scheduled to release in Japan in 2005.




- Namco has released new images of the System 258 arcade fighting game Tekken 5. The game will support the Tekken.Net, and game data can be saved on save cards, and synchronize with mobile phones (Japan only). The graphics have been vastly improved from the location test version earlier.

- Square Enix announced a new PS2 RPG called Radiata Stories, which is developed by TriAce (Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean). The main character is a 16 year old boy named Jack Russell, who is a fencer; Jack will travel with a female friend named Ridley Timberlake, who is a knight. Radiata Stories is scheduled to release in Japan in 2005.....




- Here are some new images of Sega's Shining Force for PlayStation 2. The main character is a boy named Max, and the female lead character is Meryl.




- Here are some new images of Square Enix's PlayOnline action strategy game Front Mission Online.




- Konami will release a new PS2 fighting game called Just Riser, the game is based on Toho / TV Tokyo's TV action hero series Just Riser.




- Konami will release Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater for PS2 in Japan on December 16.

- Sony announced they will reveal two mega titles for PS2 in Japan on Friday September 10, at 3PM JST.

- From Software and Banpresto announced they are co-developing a new mech combat action game for PS2 called ACE: Another Century's Episode, which feature over 40 playable mechs from more than 10 anime series, include Gundam Z, Aura Battler Dunbine, Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Blue Comet SPT Layzner and many more. The game style will be similar to the Armored Core series. The game is scheduled for a January 2005 release.

- Sucker Punch, the developer of Sony's Sly 2: Band of Thieves, revealed that the company is developing a new action adventure game, and they are currently recruiting game logic programmers.

- Capcom announced they will release Viewtiful Joe 2 for GameCube and PS2 in Japan on December 16, for 6800 yen.

- Nintendo will release Mario Party 6 for GameCube in Japan on November 18.

- Here are some new images of VU Games' Spyro: A Hero's Tail, the game is developed by Eurocom and is scheduled to release in November 2004.




X B O X

- Here are some new images of Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2, the game is scheduled for a November release in US.




- Microsoft will release the Japanese version of Halo for Xbox in Japan on November 11, and Sammy will release the Xbox Live version of Guilty Gear Isuka in Japan on December 16.

- Konami announced the Xbox version of Pro Evolution Soccer 4 will have Xbox Live support, the game is scheduled for a Q4 2004 release in Europe. Konami does not have plan to release an Xbox version of Winning Eleven 8 in Japan, due to the market conditions.

- Konami will release a new GameBoy Advance action game called Just Riser: Soldiers of Hope in Japan in December 2004. The story is based on Toho / TV Tokyo's TV action hero series Just Riser, in which you battle against the monsters coming from the phantom planet.




- Nintendo announced a GameBoy Advance SP price drop in Japan, the price will reduce from 12,500 yen to 9800 yen on September 16; following yesterday's price drop of GBA SP in US from US$90 to US$79.

- Nintendo further mentioned that they have sold more than 20 million units of GameBoy Advance SP worldwide since its first debut in Japan on February 14, 2003.

- Nintendo will release The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cup for GBA in Japan on November 4.

- TNI Securities announced that Nintendo is planning to include free VoIP (voice-over-IP) calls functionality over 802.11b WiFi in Nintendo DS, which allows users to make analog phone calls over broadband Internet without paying long distance fees. The VoIP service can be accessed at Wireless Network Hotspots.
