The sun is back out
Well, It was raining earlier today but now it stopped. I like rain though. I tried to take a quiz today but the pic didnt show so I deleted it. Its finally friday. I guess this week has seemed really long. I still have to call the two vet offices I sent my resume to cause I said in my letter I would call them later in the week if I didnt hear from them first.That was on tes so i guess its time. I get to go to hershey on mon but I cant go to the park. Its too expensive, its like $41.95 per person. yikes. So will go to my doctors appt there and then go to chocolate world and then go home. I guess I can miss the park for one year. if I get my SSDI before too long maybe we can use some of that for the park. We'll see.Y|Thats all from me for right now ttyl. HUGS

late post
Yes, I know its late, but I ahd to get offline earlier. WE had a thunderstorm and I didnt think I sould be on while it was thundering and lightening. Well, I've gotten so many comments. I love it. 10 yesterday and 6 just for my quiz. I love you all. I didnt do much today. I read my readers digest while doug watched his NAruto episodes. Then we watched cars and took a nap. that felt good.So its a little bit cooler here but not much. Thats about all for me ttyl. HUGS

Didnt get the job
Remember the interview I had last tuesday? Well, I got a call yesterday and the position had been filled. The person they hired had 8 years experience working in a vet office. I did drop off 2 more resumes and cover letters to try and get my 200 hrs of work experience. I hope one of them works out. I also may geta full time vet tech job. One of the vet offices is desperately looking for one. So I will be calling these businesses on friday if I dont hear from them before then. I figure if I follow up they will see I really want to work. I took my cat breed exam and I got a 95 out of 100 So thats good. It wasnt a very hard test. As long as you read the bok and do the practice exercises at the end of the chapters, youre good to go for the exam. a few more tests on cats, dogs, and horses then I'm done. Yay! I will be a certified vet assistant. Very excited. Thats it for me here. I just need to get up the energy to actually study thsi stuff. I think I'll watch Inuyasha and then study. TTYL. HUGS

I'm back
I decided to take a break for a few days on MyO. But I'm back now. I went visit my grandmother yesterday who I havent seen for like 2 years. It was nice to visit with her. We went out to lunch and then just hung out at her house and talked. It was great she gave me a really antique watch. It was my great,great grandmothers on her side. Its a beatiful piece of jewelry. Thats it from me. Just checking in to let you know I'm still here and alive. HUGS

not too hot.
Its better today than yesterday. WE had a short storm last night and I think it cooled down a bit. I have friends coming over tonight for a D&D campaign. I havent seen these people for over a moth. so thsi should be fun. We will order pizza and play video games until everyone gets here. So excited!!!! Well, I'm gonna leave it here. errand day
Today we had to run a bunch of errands went to the post office to pick up a package for my husband. To the library to drop off a few boks I borrowed. Went to taget to but kitty food, toys and a new food dish for the cat. also, to refill mymeds and get some hygeine stuff I needed. tHen we went to applebees for lunch. That was surprise but it was good. I had steak and shimp and a strawberry margarita. Mucho grande size!!!! YUM!! I came home and took a nice long nap, but woke up sweating. Its still hot here. It should rain tonight I hope it does.Yesterday doug bought the new Naruto game for PS2. I watched him play it. I'm not a big video game person. I guess thats it. I feel like I'm melting, I'm sweating so bad. So I will ttyl. HUGS

Okay really hot
Its like only noon and its already pas tthe 80 degree mark. SO hot! I will never complain about winter again I swear. Okay, thats not gonna hapen. I say that every summer and then when winter comes I say I wont complain about summer. Its a vicious cycle,let me tell you. The news gave us some hints to stay cool and deal with the heat. Its so bad we have a heat advisary in effect till further notice. 1. stay inside and drink lots of non alcoholic fluids.
2. use air conditioning.
3. keep an eye on pets.
4. wear loose and light colored clothing.

Well, I can do all that except for the air conditioning. I have it but it uses so much electricity we dont like to turn it on. as for my pet kitty, I have put ice cubes in her water just to keep it cool. they melt in like 30 seconds. I think I will just try and stay next to the fans all day maybe watch a little tv and read for pleasure, something I havent done for while. Hope you all have a good day. Tey to stay cool.
