My Opinion of the Word 'Hate'
(prepare for o long post)

It has come to my attention that the word hate too often frequents the mouths of people today. Do they even know what it means? Oxford dictionary; hate -to loath, detest, or dispise. Not a very powerful word if you ask me. I would be much more concerned if someone gave me a word that is less used or has more syllables(like abhorrence or vile or revulting, I don't know, something unique)Yet people use hate, I think it must have gotten more popular durring the forties when bigotry was the in thing. But it is so used! Like all of Hollywood's special effects. Well I've been there, done that, and now when I hear the word 'hate' it has absolutely no effect on me. Yes, really, I do hear the word 'hate' used to my name, but then there is no such person who has enemies, no one with a complete lack of there of. Still it is funny, the word hate is more of a spur of the moment word, not unlike the use of 'damn' when one misses the bus, or of the word 'shit' when one is in trouble, or 'shut up!' when one is being continualy interupted. There are more examples like the word 'fine' and 'okay'. It is my conclusion that the word 'hate' is blown truly out of poportion.
K, tired, dishes, HW; more later.
