My Use For Books
I have just decided that the reason I like books is because the put me in a different situation than the one that currently holds me.

I have what I would call a generous imagination. Because of this, when I first learned to read, I could come in contact with the characters so well in my head, that I thought they were real. (For this reason I was afraid to read horror stories until I was six). Sadly I found out that it was not true and was greatly discourage(and still am) that pretty much the only people's company I enjoyed were in books. I also have the same reason as Lestat's mother, Gabriel, in 'The Vampire Lestat', if anyone ever cares to read it. In this case, I could assume that, once I 'come out of my shell', I shall have no reason for books. But who knows when that will be. For the time being, I cannot read anything because I have read every book in my room, which is quite alot to say since I have the complete works of Shakspeare set, every DragonLance book with Raistlin in it and then some, 'Lord of the Rings', over twenty Stephen King novels, 'The Chronicles of Narnia', college phycology books, a good amount of poem and mythology books, my favorite author: RavenBlack, and many of books that most people have never heard of. Actualy, scrath the reading everything part; there are about eleven manga books I haven't even opened yet, but those won't last the weekend if I get around to it. I guess I am sort of avoiding reading the manga books though, once they are gone, I will be alone with my 'generous imagintion' and nothing to focus it on.

Oh well, serves me right. Damn library for having more books that I do. We'll see how long that last, fucking show-off!
