Gackt Desu.
So I just came home from Choir. During the concert I read the first Yu Yu Hakusho manga. I have been reading it in Shonen Jump for some time and I finished the anime last summer with Jay-June.
The first manga took me about an hour or so to read, give or take twenty minutes when I was singing or distracted by the orchestra. It mainly took me so long because the lights kept changing since KET was taping the concert. That and some of the astrict author's notes where on page 200 and I always read those.
Speaking of which, did you guys know that the creator of Yu Yu Hakusho and the creator of Sailor Moon are married? My first anime and my second favorite anime united under one household. *peace sign*
Second favorite you say? Yes. Cowboy Bebop will always be number one with Spike Speagul being my number one bishonen. The anime only has 26 episodes and I love every minute of it. I am a person who loves to pick out holes in things (This is prooven every time I watch the first 16 episodes of Transformers [Though I've only seen the first six]). In Cowboy Bebop there are no holes. Everything is explained including things we didn't really thing we wanted to know about (Like Fea's dept).
My third favorite anime is FullMeatle Alchemist. It is very political and since I love to argue...^_~. I haven't seen all the episodes to date. I need to get together with Jay and Carolina. We need to all pull our money and rent (or have friends pirate) every FullMeatle Alchemist DVD that has been released to date then once we have done that I can rent them as they come out.
So yeah, about the lack of color...
Dell is screwing me over. The AC Adapter that charges my laptop went out and Dell discontinued the part so I had to send Cabbit (the laptop's name) back to Dell so they could put the new part into my computer that is compatible with the new AC Adapter. When I have my laptop back I will spruce this place up. You'd like that, ne?
Well anyway, back to my original topic of finishing books...
I finished Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire yesterday during choir practice. I saw the play last July and let me tell you, there is no other play/book/movie based off of anouther play/book/movie that is more different then Wicked the book and Wicked the play. Nothing. Wicked the play and Wicked the book make the movie Memoirs of a Geisha look like it followed the book to a T.
I hate it when something is based off of something else and doesn't follow the original perfectly. However, I do love both the book and the play in the case of Wicked. This is a rarety for me. If I had read the book before I saw the play I would have HATED the play, but here I am listening to 'Wonderful' and 'Defying Gravity'. This never happends with me.
It took me about three days to finish the book Wicked. I plan to start Son of a Witch which is the supposed sequal to Wicked. I do not actualy no what Son of a Witch is about, but I suspect it is about Liir and his findings of Nor and reclaiming his throne as a Prince in the Thousand Years Grassland. It is only a therory though.
Well, it be 10:23. Auston Powers is on. Fullmeatle Alchemist comes on at 12:30 and Cowboy Bebop an hour after that. I will type more later.
