New Background

Current Mood: Great Current Song: The Offspring - Million Miles Away I was bored with the other layout already and had been wanting a good, cel shaded (I think that's the type of Art it is) background, so I searched Jet Set Radio Future on Yahoo! Images. I've never played the game, but I want it so badly. I've always wanted it, but never asked for it. I always forget. Anyway, I'm pleased with the background for the moment. Yesterday in Spanish, half the class was gone on a band trip (small school, remember?), so we watched Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. While watching, Lane fixed my watch so I can finally wear it without it falling off my wrist. In Science I went to the computer lab and typed a three page paper in one hour. Go me! Lol. Not really that hard, since it was only research. I could have done better but I was goofing off the whole time. The last 5 minutes of 4th period, every girl in the school had a meeting about the bathroom. There are bloody tampons on the floor every day it seems and some girls are flushing them, causing the bathroom to flood. Of course, I had to apologize about the mass amount of bloody tampons I leave in the boys' bathroom to lighten up the mood. At lunch we had a Camping Trip meeting. Every year, the school takes students on a week long camping trip. I didn't go last year, but I'm definately going this year. The only problem is, it costs 50 dollars, plus spending money and any snacks you want to bring. My dad already agreed to pay though, I got lucky lol. It's going to be great because they goof off so much. In World History I finished all my work and asked if I could go to the gym and he said that I could if I let him snap me in the same place on the arm with a rubber band until he got tired. . .I gave up ^_^' For 2 reasons though: 1) I'm very skinny 2) He did it in that way where you hold it with two fingers, pull back the other side and snap. It huuuuuurts! Lol. I'm such a woman. No offense to women ;) That's all. I'm out foo!

Finished

Current Mood: Good Current Song: Deviates - Playing to Lose I'm finished with my layout now :) I decided to go even more plain, removing the Misfits skull-logo-thingy. It looked cool, but it just didn't seem to fit. I guess it's just too symmetrical to have it repeat like that ^_^' As I said in my current song thing, I'm listening to the Deviates. If you enjoy punk rock or any kind of rock for that matter, I suggest listening to them. Good lyrics are hard to come by from them (with the choruses only mentioned once and other very annoying things to have, especially when you're trying to sing along), and their pace is always pretty fast, so it's kind of hard to keep up without a lyrics sheet lol. Anyway, today was good. In Art we continued to work on backdrops for the play. In Spanish we did vocabulary (big weeeewt). In English we did more discussing over our Research Papers (every year, every English class does one), which are very tedious. Luckily we're doing multiple rough drafts instead of notecards this time. Notecards are evil. In Science we did nothing because the computer lab was full and we're doing research on more boring stuff. Lunchtime. . .much humor and all that good stuff. Geometry, boringness. . .of course. Same with the rest of my classes; I'm not going to bore you some more =/ My brother had detention today and I had to just sit there with my youngest brother and mom in the car and people watch -_- My brother embarrasses me alot, but there's nothing I can do about it; that's what brothers do. I'm trying to get into the habit of using semi-colons. Tell me if I'm using them improperly. lol

Standardized Testing

Current Mood: Jawesome Current Song:The Pixies - Monkey Gone To Heaven Today is my not-so-favorite day of the year. Standardized testing pays off in the end because the teachers always give us the rest of the day off. Except in eighth period when we studied for my U.S. History test tomorrow. I also have a book report due in two days. Maybe I should start reading a book ^_^' Sparknotes.com is my God by the way, excluding Semjaza Azazel. I usually do read, but I procrastinated like a monkey on crack this time and I'm in a hole. I would just not do the report (because I can be that lazy), but I'm not sure what my grade is in English right now. So, after this post I'm going to go to Sparknotes and read up on their analyzations and such. Sometimes, with certain books, they have so much information that it's as if you are reading most of the book. lol Whoa I'm Sweaty (Bam-Ba-Lam) Whoa I'm Sweaty (Bam-Ba-Lam) I'm not really sweaty, it's just a parody of "Whoa Black Betty" that my friends did lol. In art we're painting a backdrop for a play (well, the other art classes were, but we finished our project early [we did the work for the play last time so we did a project this time] so we're helping them out) and all I've gotten to do is paint flowers. It's ok though, I don't particularly enjoy painting on drapes since there isn't a wall behind them for about 5 inches and it's hard to apply pressure. It's alright though. Pretty flowers.

A slightly more interesting day

Current Mood: Great Current Song: Metallica - The Unforgiven Hey, there's a new joke going around. Come here. Lean over a bit. [whisper]What did the 5 fingers say to the face?[/whisper] SLAP! *slaps* I'm Rick James bietch. I've been doing that to people at my school all day long lol. Some people even started calling me that ^_^' In case you don't know, that line is from the infamous Dave Chappelle's Show. Best.Show.Ever. Anyway, my day has been pretty good. In art we started painting a backdrop for a play, in Spanish I didn't do anything because our teacher gave us a break, due to the fact that we have standardized testing tomorrow (those state tests they always make you take). And that's when I started doing the Rick James thing lol. In English we did more of nothing interesting (read: talked about research papers that are due a long time from now). In Science we did even more of nothing besides watching a documentary since the teacher was sick. Then lunch. Easy day so far! Then half an hour of notes in Geometry and a half hour of work using those notes. Then World History. Great class, boring assignments :p Then my least favorite class of the day, U.S. History. It's just boring -_- Other than classes, my day was great! I'm listening to Metallica right now. I haven't listened to Metallica in forever. Not much to say ^_^' Later.

Well, I decided I'd post again because my page is looking boring >.< OBv7 is back and looking miraculous (which is my new word to describe amazing things). Right now I'm listening to techno, which is my latest addiction. I don't even know what kind of techno but I found a certain channel on Winamp Radio and am sticking to it because they play the same kind of music repeatedly and it's the kind I like most lol. I was going to go to my friend's house for the weekend but he lives like 30 miles away and it's hard to organize something on a whim when your parents hate driving. Next year though, I'll have my liscence and will be going everywhere. It'll be great. *blares techno and eats a double decker taco*
