School, and Evil Parents
I'm starting to feel better, and I think the worst of it's over. Yay! Anyways, summary of the first day of school: all of my teachers (except for the Computer Applications teacher) are awesome! I got that awesome math teacher that likes anime! Yayness! My English teacher is really wacky and funny, and Kakashi S is in my class! But I think my History teacher is probably my favorite one. He has an incredibly long last name so we just call him Mr. G. He's hilarious, and I'll probably have him again in 9th grade when I take psychology. Also, in my history class I have a lot of my friends (sadly no Kakashi s though :(). So I guess history (though I despise it) won't be too bad this year... My science teacher is cool too. I have to walk a lot though to get from place to place. I'll have one class, and then the next is across the campus (around 7 acres) and then the next is where the first class was, etc. Even though the homework started full force to first day, I think this year will be pretty good (we hope).

Next thing: my parents have spontaneously decided to place some HUGE limits on my computer! NOT fair! I didn't even do anything wrong (though I doubt they'd be thrilled to know I have this site). So, if I go a while without updating, blame THEM! Yeah... I can't uninstall it because it's totally invisible to the user. It RECORDS EVERY SINGLE KEYSTROKE I MAKE, makes a nice little VIDEO OF EVERYTHING I DO ON THE COMPUTER, it records every single program I open, logs all of my IM conversations and e-mails (coming and going) and sends my mom a pleasent little e-mail with a log of EVERYHTING that happened since I turned the computer on, every two hours. Yeah. Just like having someone staring over my shoulder, except probably worse. AND, I'm not allowed to be on the computer after 10 on weekdays, and 11 on weekends! 11!!!! I'm not even considering sleep at that point! Pretty much the whole reason I even bought a computer for my room with my own money was because I wanted to be on at night, and not have someone breathing down my neck all the time. So, yeah, expect updates to be scarce.

Wonderful... I'm Sick
Well this is just great. I'm sick. And school starts on Tuesday. There's no way I can miss the first few days, so I'm going. I started feeling really bad Friday about 9 PM and so I went to the doctor this morning. They did a few tests and they called about an hour ago and said I have mononucleosis. Whoopdeedo. It was going around the school at the end of the year(mainly the higher grades though) and my cousins (who're in 10th grade and 8th grade and go to the same school as me) had it but didn't know it. I was at their house a few times for various reasons, and one of them probably coughed on me or something and gave it to me. Since the incubation period is around 50 days the symptoms are just now showing up. My head hurts, I feel like I swallowed a lobster, I have a fever, I'm completely tired all the time, I have no appetite whatsoever but my mom forced me to eat, and I'm really sore. I feel worse than I did even when I had the flu. And guess what? It lasts for anywhere between about 3 weeks to 6 FREAKING MONTHS but hopefully I'll feel better before February. I guess the good part is the only way people can catch it is through saliva contact so people at school probably won't catch it if I'm careful. So... I should probably go to sleep now... hopefully I'll feel even just a little bit better in the morning... I have to go to the school for an hour.

I'm Back. Yayness.
Finally I'm back from vacation! Yay! It was fun but I was ready to leave. This year we went to... I can't remember the name of the beach >_< but I know it was near Wilmington, NC. My mom used to live there when she was little and she wanted to go back for a while, so we went to a beach within like 15 or 20 miles of there. Anyway. Really all we did was stay on the beach and lay around the hotel room for most of the week, but on Tuesday my mom decided we should all take a historical tour... it wasn't too much fun, mostly because it was five guided tours back to back. And I don't remember a word of it ^_^ Then Wednesday we drove for a while to a beach that my dad used to go to. I don't even know which state it was in... But it was better than the historical stuff. Really the only parts of the vacation that were completely crappy were when we went fishing and I got sick on the pier for some reason, and I now have two ear infections and a worsened sinus infection, thanks to all the water. But I just took some medicine and I feel pretty good ^_^ Let's see... oh yeah. One day on the beach I was eating a muffin and I was attacked by seagulls, then the went after my sister, who had oreos. My dad took a picture of it... then he chased them away. That same day I was tired, so I fell asleep on the beach. Apparently I was asleep for a while, because my dad dug a hole, put me in it, filled it back up, and put a bucket on my head. He took a picture of that too... It was really funny. I woke up COMPLETELY confused and everyone was laughing, and I was more confused. Oh yeah! Last night for dinner my mom decided we'd drive to Wrightsville Beach for dinner. We were at the restaurant for about five minutes and I saw one of my friends and his family walk in! So all of us just sat at a huge table and ate, and I still can't believe how weird it was that I saw him there. It gets even weirder. On the drive back today, they were behind us in traffic almost the whole way! I didn't know it until about an hour from home, when I turned around and they were right there... Anyway that's pretty much it. Here's the two pics I was talking about earlier.

The Internet Works!
Well there was a bad thunder storm here the other day, and I wasn't home to unplug my computer, and so my modem got fried :( So my mom finally took me and I got a new one. I have no money now, but I have the interent! Yay for internet! We had this really long period of time here with no rain and all of a sudden there's a thunderstorm every day... Anyways, nothing has really happened but that. I leave Friday to go to the beach for a week, then the next day is the day before school starts and I'm at the school most of the day getting all of my stuff in my locker and finding where all my classes are. And then... school starts the 22nd :( Noooo... The ONLY good part of it starting back is that I'll get to see my friends daily, and kakashi s will be un-grounded ^_^ Now my moms yelling at me to go mow the lawn. I wonder if she has noticed you can't see two feet in front of you because of the rain...

Subject Lines Are Evil
Hmm... well I'm just about bored out of my mind right now. It's about 1:30 AM and my belt testing is tomorrow (well technicaly today...) so I should probably get more than a few hours of sleep. Anyway, I had a painful/surprising/off the wall thing happed earlier. After karate today, I was REALLY sore from the sparring and I was really tired, so I kinda accidently fell asleep on my roof for a few hours. Yes, the roof. My room gets really cold because of where it is in the house, so I climb out of the window occasionally and sit on the roof, which isn't the smartest thing to do because it's a verrry long drop to the ground. When my dad got home, he was watering plants on the deck, and thought he heard snoring. So he got one of those extendable ladders that stretch out so they're really tall, climbed on the roof, saw me asleep, and then proceeded to squirt me with the water hose. What a wonderfully smart way to wake up a person sleeping ON A ROOF. I jumped up in surprise from being woken up that way, tripped, stumbled, fell off the roof onto the deck, landed on the table, and then thunked down the stairs to the grass, where I just layed there for a minute. Of course my dad ran up pretty much in panic, apologizing and asking if I was okay. I lied there for a few more seconds, then sat up. I walked around a little, and thank God I don't have any broken bones ^_^ We both got inside, then burst out laughing. It was really really funny, but we both decided we're not going to tell my mom, because she's one of those overly-protective parents who go spastic if you get a scratch. She would have drug me to the hospital for no reason, and my dad would be on the couch for a good week. Of course neither one of us wants those things to happen, so... yeah. If she sees the bruises and cuts she'll assume they're from karate, and I'm sore anyway. I don't know how I'll be tomorrow, but I am going to that belt testing no matter what, and I will pass no matter what. That doesn't mean I won't be ready to fall over during it tomorrow... Anyway, one last think that happened. I was really bored after dinner today, so I decided to read some fanfiction. Since I'm completely new to it, I don't know what any of the terms mean... yeah. I was flipping through some Inuyasha ones, and I found one action/adventure one that sounded really good. I got to like the fourth chapter, and it said "Warning: lemon content in this chapter" at the beginning of the story. I didn't know what a lemon was, so I brushed it off. In about the middle, the lemon part started, and I was just reading it like "ooookaaay... this should end any time now..." I stopped reading it though when I realized that that was what a lemon probably was, and then just skipped to the next chapter. So yeah, I learned the hard way... Now that I think about it, I probably should've looked up what lemon meant on the Internet, but my brain wasn't functioning I guess. ANYWAYS!!! My mom seems to have psychic powers or something and always comes upstairs to "check on my little sister" when I'm on my computer after she says to get off, which was... 3 hours ago, so she should be here any time. So I'm going to lie down so she'll think I'm trying to go to sleep. Of course she'll probably make me take that medicine that makes you sleepy (I think it's called melatonin or something like that...?), and even though I took a nap that stuff will knock me out.

Karate Camp
Today, the karate camp I take every year started ^_^ I really like it because it's 3 1/2 straight hours of karate instead of just 1 hour during the school year. We get to grapple and spar a TON more, and Sensei Charmichael lets us play games like dodge pad. It's the same as dodgeball, only he seperates the class by height into 3 groups. Then, each group goes inside this circular area, and the instructors stand just outside the boundary and throw usually two of the hand pad things that we kick/punch around, trying to knock you out. I'm not too good, but I still love it ^_^ Tomorrow he said that the brown belts and above (that includes me) will get to work some more on tornado kicks, we'll learn another combo kick, and we're going to start learning another kata. You get really REALLY tired because there's no breaks for 3 1/2 hours and you're moving pretty much constantly, but I love it. One of my favorite parts would probably be sparring with an instructor because they move around the whole room, you're allowed to make harder contact, and so are they. There's this one girl there this year named Carrie who's really cool. She'll be in 9th grade I think this year, and we look almost EXACTLY the same! It's really weird o.O So whenever the class starts grappling or sparring we always get paired up because we're about the same strength too. Anyways, I'm gonna go eat dinner now, because I just realized I haven't eaten all day! That's a first...

Braces...
Well today I finally got braces. It took like 2 hours and now my teeth, especially the bottom ones, are killing me! And they put this thing on called an expander and it's on the top of my mouth but it blocks my tounge from going up there, so I can barely swallow :( Well I guess the good thing is that in about 3-5 days they said I'd be used to it, and the expander comes off in about 4 months ^_^

Stuff
I get braces tomorrow... woo? My dad keeps joking with me about it, saying when I'm asleep he's gonna magnetize me o.O If he actually does it (which he probably will, as a joke) I've already decided I'll get him back by putting that canned cheese stuff on his hand while he's sleeping and then tickle his face ^_^ THAT will be funny. Anyways, my little sister takes horseback riding, and today she had a vaulting lesson for 2 hours, so for the last 45 minutes me and my parents went to watch. For anyone who doesn't know, vaulting is basically gymnastics on horseback. You can imagine the shock on my mom's face when she walked up and her 9 year old was literally doing a handstand on the back of a running horse! It was actually really cool; she can do all this stuff on a moving horse that I can't even begin to do on the ground >_< And she only fell off once! So now we're back, she's sleeping, and I'm gonna go eat dinner ^_^

B-day!
Yeah so yesterday was my 13th birthday! It was cool, kakashi s had lacrosse camp though so she couldn't be there so she's coming Saturday (I think) instead. I went out to dinner with my family and my grandma and then we came back and I stuffed myself with cake ^_^ And.. I finally got an iPod!!! YAAAAAY!!! It's a black ipod nano and I've already put 162 songs on it... it holds 500 I think. My mom deicded that she was going to get some balloons for the heck of it this year, so I took like 5 and untied them and inhaled the helium. I love doing that, but after I did 3 balloons my voice sounded like a mutant chipmunk and my mom made me stop ^_^ But my sister had never seen anyone do that before and she thought that I was trying to make myself explode... Anyways, today I had to go get spacers put on my teeth because I'm getting braces on the 26th -_- how fun... I got 3 and they're just really annoying because I feel like a have food stuck between my teeth.

Lots of Stuff!
Unlike my usual updates, a lot of stuff has actually happened since my last one! First of all, on Father's Day, my mom got the idea to go fishing out of nowhere. This wouldn't sound too weird to a lot of people, but none of my family has ever been fishing, except for my dad.... but he was 8 years old at that time. So we went to this random lake place and my dad was panicking because he thought my mom forgot to get fishing liscenses. I actually had a good time and I think my dad did too ^_^ No one caught anything... but there was this turtle that kept taking the worm off of my hook... it was pretty funny actually. Next thing on the list: braces. I went to the orthodontist on Tuesday, and he said that I'm ready for braces. So I go on July 20th and get spacers put in, then I go on the 26th and get braces on 12 of my teeth, and some weird appliance thing in the back of my mouth. I also found out I have to wear braces for 2 1/2 to 3 years!!! That's a long time!!! Then I might have to wear this other weird appliance thing in my mouth after that. So... yeah. I guess it could be worse. Then yesterday I had to go to a psychologist for panic attacks. I've been having them really frequently and they're pretty severe. So my mom took me there, and the doctor was... kinda scary o.O After a ton of waiting we found out I have panic disorder. Just another thing to add to my rainbow of health problems ^_^ Well at least they're telling me stuff to do to help it now because they won't give me meds until I'm older. I hope everyone's been good!
