DBZ Fanfic I, Para 2
Goku yawned and trudged his way to the kitchen. "I'm still sore from yesterday. No wonder." He yawned again and came into the kitchen to find..... NO FOOD?!?!?!?!? "AAAH! WHERE'D IT GO?!?!?!?!?" Goku frantically searched the kitchen, turning over the fridge, table, and sink as he went. Then he ran outside to see if Chi Chi was out there. She wasn't anywhere to be seen. He took one more step and felt something hit his shoe. It was Chi Chi's basket.
"Oh well," he said, looking at the huge garden. "I guess this'll have to do." He pulled up as many vegetables and fruits as he could, and brought them into the house. "That's it! Chi Chi left for town so I'd scrounge something up myself and eat healthier! Yep! That's why I married her!" Satisfied with his explanation, he then uprighted the kitchen furniture and began to eat. About 3 hours later, he heard someone call his name. Goku finished his 1,296th piece of fruit and went outside to see who it was. And then he saw them and waved.
"Hey Krillin! Hey 18!" Goku smiled at them. "What are you doing here? At this hour? I thought you'd be having breakfast!" "We had ours hours ago," 18 sarcastically replied, rolling her eyes at the fact Goku never stopped eating. "Oh, uh...." Goku said, looking a little sheepish. "Well, what are you guys doing here?" "Well, Goku," Krillin said, "Uh.... 18 has to tell you something." "WHAT?!?!?!? KRILLIN! YOU PROMISED YOU'D TELL HIM!!!!!" 18 yelled in Krillin's face. "Tell me what?" Goku looked puzzled.
"Well, Goku, there have been reports of things blowing up villages and cities all over the planet. We can't explain it." 18 glared at Krillin. "Yeah, 18, that is kind of odd." "Yeah, so we're both confused." Krillin said. "HEY! GUYS!" A car drove up and Bulma and Vegeta hopped out. " Have you seen Chi Chi? I told her to wait for me under the clock at 7:30. That's when all the shops open, ya know.... but we've been waiting for three hours!" Bulma explained.
"This is getting scary." Goku said. He told them about this morning. "Do you think she could be.... in trouble?" Vegeta asked him. "I don't know." Goku said, looking up at the sky. "But whatever is going on, I know it can't be good."
