DBZ Fanfic 1, Para 3
"Well, let's split up and look for her." Krillin suggested. "I'll take this way!" Krillin sped off into the woods behind the garden. "I'm going this way." Vegeta flew the opposite direction. Goku flew to the right of Krillin and 18 went left. Bulma drove off into town to look for her.
8 hours later, they all met back at the front of the house. "Nope, didn't find her." Krillin replied. "Man, those woods were big." "What about you?" Goku asked 18. She shook her head and looked down in disappointment. "No." Vegeta shook his head as well. "Let's face it, Kakarot. If she wasn't in town the whole day, she's disappeared." Goku gave a sad nod and turned into the house. Bulma screeched up and said she didn't find Chi Chi. "Where in hell could she have gone?" Vegeta said. "It's not like she can turn invisible."
"Hey Dad!" Trunks yelled as he flew up to the house. "What are you doing here? You told me to wait at the house for you after school, but I've been waiting for more than 8 hours!" "WHAT?" Vegeta asked him. "We were trying to find Chi Chi." His mom simply told him. "Wheeeeeee!" Goten rocketed toward the house and almost slammed into Vegeta, who stopped his skull in mid-air with one hand. "Don't press your luck, kid." Vegeta said as he put Goten down. "Why are you guys here? I thought you'd be asleep, Trunks! And where have you been, Goten?" Goku asked them as he came outside. "They declared it a half day because we'd been rejuvenated or something like that, so I took Goten to my house. We flew around and played video Games all day." "So they let you out because we defeated Majin Buu, right?" "Uh-huh." They both nodded in unison. Then a green blur flew straight to the bare spot between Vegeta and 18. Saiyaman landed and transformed back to his alter ego and exclaimed, "Guess what I was doing the whole day!" "Let me guess...." Vegeta piped up. "Half day off?"
"How'd you know?" Gohan looked puzzled. Trunks and Goten laughed. "Oh, these two." Gohan grabbed Goten in a headlock. "Well, I was protecting the city all day. Those things that are attacking the cities make all the people in town believe Apocalypse is coming. You know, the end of the world.... again." "Guys," Goku said, "I need to let you know something." "What, Dad?" Goten asked in his usual 7-year-old-innocence. "It's about your mother."
