Going for a data entry job today, if the guy will call me back at some point... I got ahold of him first, but it seems my kitchen phone wouldn't let the guy hear me -.- And when I used a different phone he wasn't there ;_;

I've got absolutely nothing to do today, and I'm homebound until I get ahold of this guy for the job... Think I'll go draw.

Got ahold of 'em, if the position is still open I've got it ^^ 20 hour a week job just punchin' data into a database ^^ I may have solved the job problem!!!!! (Well, moneywise anyways...) Yeah, I still want a physical job that I can go to and interact with people. That's the numbah 2 reason for a summer job, human interaction... cause right now everyone has a job and no one visits me except on weekends ;_;

urge to kill.... raising...

I beat .hack//GU vol. 2 and it's a bitter sweet victory. I went looking around the dothackers forums to see who else beat it (I went there looking for skill levels that you aquire skills at... and NO ONE knows... or no one's telling.). Well, I found a thread dedicated just to that, and to my astonishment everyone had an incredibly difficult time beating the last boss, at least until they leveled way out of range of the boss (late 90s to 100 [100's the max]). Me? I got my butt handed to me the first time true, but I was in the high 70s, not 90s. I give it another shot a few levels later and the boss hardly touches me. At a considerably low 84, I think I had the lowest level "possible" for beating this creep. Ok, that was the cool part, the bad part... there's another volume to the story and these people LOVE cliffhangers. I won't go into detail for those of you who aren't interested/have yet to play/aren't quite there yet.

Sketching for the picture is done, been real busy with cleaning and home repairs.

That's all for now, my laptop isn't handy, so I can't really visit people's sites. Mac's don' like the html O.o

BAM!!! Voting closed.

It's a landslide victory for Angel Zakuro (K-chan)!!! The votes may have been a bit on the tainted side >.> since most of the votes were posted on her site (I went and checked 'em, they were all from different people). So yeah...

I kinda owe Scott (God of Death) an appology. I had no idea what his song was called, so I just went with the funny and added in my own title... heh, it was funny though.

Votes are all tied up with 2:2 for both girls! Voting will continue through the weekend though. Cause uh... 2 of those votes are from judges O.o Yes Scott, you didn't declare a vote. Come on guys, I know I wanted to keep this first one a small event, but... I can't even make a decent paper airplane out of the number of votes (if they were paper >.>).

Oh! It appears that Koneako is doing much better. No danger of leaving this plain of existense any time soon. ^_^ I'm quite happy!

Welcome one and all to the very first quasi-annual MyOtaku Idol "contest"

I would ask that everyone who sees this go ahead and post the playlist into your post and let people pick the winner >.> which also means I'd like other people to tally up the votes that they see on their sites... cause that'd be a little more work than I'd like to do.

Before the festivities start, I'd like to pause for a moment and dedicate this opening round to Koneako. I haven't heard anything about her since yesterday, and I'm still profoundly worried. But, for her sake we must carry on and be happy!

Well, I had a fun weekend away from everything. But, they important thing about my updating would be the contest I'm attempting to run right? The link for the playlist will be spread out later today, so let's all post it up tomorrow and allow everyone who wants to, vote.

Oh, I missed a good 3-4 days of posts, and around here that could mean a whole lot. If anyone had anything REALLY important happen, go ahead and pm it to me. I like to keep up with my friends, and sabaticals don't help that.

I'm holding off the contest for today, I've been handed some very sad news... Koneako isn't doing so well, she's led a rough life and it's just getting worse now. For those of you that know her, she has/had biabetes type 1. For those that weren't too close... well, she wouldn't want me telling the world. But, there's more to it. Just please, I'm not a person of religion, but I do know the power of faith and prayer (faith doesn't meen religion). So... send her a minute or two of thought until she pulls through, and yes, I will continue to believe she'll pull through until I'm told otherwise.

Today is a lazy day. Other than the fact that I have to go down to housing to *ahem* take care of a few things, I'm not doin' anything. I'd draw something, but LaLaGirl took away my lined sketchbook and I have to go out and get a not so lined one now. Which I guess means better drawings *victory sound* (Brian attained, sketch book upgrade) Ahh, feels good to up skills every so often. ^^

We're taking a bit of a different route today. Let's talk about Sonic the hedgehog. I got the new game, and was kinda sceptical about it. There's supposed to be an emphasis on speed and control, more so than the sonic adventure games (which were so much fun, my faith in sega was restored)

I've sunk about an hour into this game so far, and let me just get this out of the way first, the learning curve on this game sucks big time. I was ok with the comic book looking cutscenes, and the voice acting isn't too bad either (The guy who does sonic also does Usopp on One Piece [I was quite suprised and excited]). Then it went downhill. The controls are horrible. Screw getting use to them. Do you remember people ever jerking the controller when they did moves on old games? Yeah, this one's for them, you twist, thrust, wobble, jerk, etc. the wiimote to get sonic to do even simple things. Want sonic to run forward, NO PROBLEM, that's automatic and almost completely out of your control. Want him to WALK backwards? There's the problem, you're supposed to "tilt" the wiimote backwards and he'll start backtracking. I had the thing almost upside down and all he did was stand there looking like an epileptic kid watching anime O.o And, when did sonic ever have to charge up to jump? I know jumping is mario's department, but Sonic's never had a problem going airborn. You can't attack things unless you're higher then they are, and you can't really stop to jump, so you have to know where enemies are going to be in order to have a chance for the "homing attack" to lock on. I'm at the first boss, and if he isn't running just as fast as I am, then he's at an almost standstill and I run smack into him, losing everyone of my hard earned rings.

Maybe I'm not the gamer I once was, maybe these controls are just too simple for me to grasp. I don't know, but I'll leave more ranting for my next post. Which very well may be about Spider-man 3, the game, not the movie this time.

Oh, some good news though, when I picked up these new games, I also grabbed a new memory card, so I can get back to work with super smash bros. ^^ YAY!!!! I have rivals that I can't let out of my reach skillwise.

There is only one course of action I can take... I must commit sepuku. Well, it's either that, or actually wait for the mover guys to get here with the new table so I can get back to drawing/recording. I guess I could give 'em an hour or so.

We only have one decent table that's good for sitting at and drawing, it's got plenty of natural light from the french doors leading out to the deck, which also translates to a very nice view of my backyard, where red likes to sit and watch me.

Mothra is being very distracting now >.> so I'll leave with a note on MyO Idol.

This friday is the deadline for round one. The following rounds won't have as much time, because this one was kinda the one that let me get everything in order. So, friday, our hard work will be posted and I leave it to all of my visitors... WAIT! An idea just struck me. You judges, I'll send you the link for the playlist of recordings and have everyone that visits you cast in a vote for the one that they think is best. The one with the lowest votes will sadly not make it to the next round. But, no need to worry on that, cause next month we do it all over again but on a grander scale!

For now... I just sit here and wait for them to show up... the window is from 7:30 AM (WTF!?) to 11:30 AM, so I'm stuck home until then. I'm so hungry... can't go out and get food until they've come and gone ;_;
