I JUST burned my thumb ;_; It hurts a lot. Steam burns are the worst, I was only exposed to it for maybe... 2/10s of a second, and it's all blistered up now. I can't hit the spacebar with it... making typing tough.

I see I got the whole gambit of responses and opinions on Spider-man 3. Only person I have a problem with... Artichoke!!! How dare you compare the great spider-man to those kiddy shows!? A great injustice to the comics was done when they made this last movie. But, that doesn't lower the history of spider-man, over 40 years mind you, to the level of dora the explorer!

Bah... we're all lucky that I'm distracted by "Inherit the Wind". Otherwise I could go on for pages >.> Oh, and I'm not lashing out at you specificly Artichoke, just what you said... You can go on hating spider-man. But, try to keep your comparisons to a logical level -.-

Something horrible has happened... and I've brought my collective conciousnesses to tell you. I saw Spider-man 3 last night ;_; I thought it would be ok if I just didn't think about how different it is from the comic. I thought, "ok, it can't be so bad if you don't know what's supposed to happen, right?" WRONG!!!! That movie was the worst I've seen in ages, and I've seen some doozies. I won't go too far into it, because I don't think my ranting skill is enough to do it justice. Let me just say, the only good parts were the Harry and Sandman stories. Venom didn't belong in the movie -.- could have had a 4th and done him right, but he's been destroyed.

We have 2 official entries in the MyO Idol cont... no, it's not even a contest yet. Right now it's more of a... 1 on 1, exciting as that may be in martial arts, song battles where each person only sings 1 song isn't all that good. We have a confirmed 3 other singers though, so it should be ok. ^^

Revbem: I'm sorry, I think kirbysdouble is out of our mind at the moment. So how about some news about MyO idol? >.> really, I think that's what he's laughing about. See, we have a... well, not confirmed, but we only have 4 people participating. 3 of which are judges >.> So... unless we get a bunch of people we've yet to meet/hear from, then I'll leave the voting up to the general populace and everyone who enters gets a chance. It'll still be elimination style, with one person being... escorted off the stage graciously.

Brian: Guess this whole idea was a bit of a flop -.- I don' know, maybe I could have appealed to an admin or something to get some publicity... O.O wait a sec. I could do that. Ok, this month will be our personal little show, next month I'll get some advertizing going and see if we can get BUNCHES of people to join in. Kirbysdouble: Shut up -.- As my little tarutaru self pointed out, I'm (we're) kinda sick at the moment, can't record anything at the moment (mucus is a nasty substance that halts all musical aptitude), and my drawings just aren't looking quit right yet. The AC is broken, and I still have yet to find a job... it may be time to seek at the forbidden zone... Busch Gardens. I know, we hate it there, but they're ALWAYS looking for employees.

Revbem: On the FFXI front, most of the problems have been patched up, I just have to bring warring sides together in order to complete the bridge. Think of it this way, two warring cities (that use to be the greatest of friends) went and blew up the only meens of commerce and friendship, a bridge. A third city comes in (me ^^) and gets both sides to start building the bridge back, one works at night, the other during the day. Both cities are oblivious to the repairs being done on the other side, until they realize they've been working together the whole time. Thus becomming friends again, hopefully >.>

Brian: Forgive us for not visiting sites yesterday, crap loads of crap happened, and our online time consisted of almost nothing but investigative work on FFXI (Rev: that and kicking some serious monster !@#). We don't know if we'll get to sites today, cause we have a tough schedule of repair work and exorcise.

Oh, before it's forgotten, we still only have one entry in. We don't know if this is gonna be much of a contest if we all don't start getting our stuff in >.> We get the feeling that a lot of people are embarassed to be heard on here (public humiliation was what one person said). Know that there's nothing to worry about, if it's not so good (or really bad, but we would never tell you that because we're nice) the greater populace won't hear it. Just the judges, a grand total of 3 people, scratch that, 3 friends. So come on. Let's get crackin'!

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm ill. It's turning out to be one of those days where bad stuff just keeps happening. I tried to record my entry into Idol, turns out my voice is too raspy for me to concider it passing, at least for today. I went to mow the lawn, and the lawnmower begins to fall apart (not kidding, pieces of it started falling off as I was mowing). Right here I'd like to put a question in: Where the heck do these spiders spawn from!? I was in the shed not 3 days ago and it was devoid of spiders and spider webs. I go in there today... FULL of spiders and webs. I have a fear of spiders, not the "ew yuck" kind of afraid, it's the "OMG I HAVE TO KILL IT BEFORE IT KILLS ME!!!" inexplicable urge to kill them fear. I'd understand how they all got there if they were all the same type of spider... but it's many species.

Well, illness and adversity (I've stubbed my toes at least 13 times today already, and it's taken me 30 minutes to type this after sooooooo many typos) have me staying at an inn (my room) and saving and quitting for the day. Lets' hope tomorrow holds better luck for me ;_;

/sigh... a command from FFXI. I came back to the game this weekend and... it's not the same. I had a group of well over 50 friends, spanning over a good number of linkshells (guilds, clubs... clicks). Now, they've scattered to the 4 winds. About 80% of my core friends on there have quit the game all together, and apparently not on good terms, and there are still more people who just quit WolfPack (linkshell). All the animosity though seems to stem from the one who I concidered my best friend (on the game, not any where else). Feh... I just don't know what to do, our leader comes back this week after leaving his wife and kids and moving down to S. Carolina. I don't really support that decision... and I think I may confront all of them, most likely getting myself kicked out in the process. I mean, one of the founding members was kicked because that good friend of mine was jelous that his online girl left 'em. It's rediculous.

But, I don't want to mix all of those problems with the ones I find here and in real life... it's all so !@#$ing complicated.

News on MyO Idol, I'm setting a deadline for entries, it'll be... next tuesday, yeah. With late entries until Friday.

Angel Zakuro: I'm going to be playing the music I sing through my headphones while recording. It's ok to have the music going while you sing, we just gotta hear you, not the other vocalist. Besides, it throws people's timing off and stuff if the music isn't playing, ya know?

God of Death: I see what you're saying about the banner... but, Artichoke needs to clean out here inbox if I'm going to tell her that Otaku is spelled wrong on it >.> ::looks directly at Artichoke:: ^^ ok, no big problem though right? Easy fix, and I think you're the only person that saw it anyways. Simple typo...anyone could have done it.



Ok, I'm gonna go see if I can mend bridges online... doubt that's gonna happen.

Ok, time to clear things up by answering some questions.

Artichoke: If I divided it up then there my not be enough people in each catagory to have a contest. What we're gonna do is see how close you are to the actual song (we won't deduct for a little bit of addition), that and how good your voice is >.> So sure, put the fat lady to shame.

NaNa-chou: Everyone's protected under the contest... go ahead and try out though, we're not cruel people, I'll be the only judge officially speaking directly to contestants about their status.

Angel Zakuro: EVERYONE can enter, I'm entering to >.> We just have to be impartial, if I don't think I did well enough, I'll boot myself. Not to mention that's why we have more than one judge.

Great Destroyer: Sure, I won't be able to understand it, but as long as you provide the original song with it... no problem.

Cryptic posts aside, I've been incredibly busy... somehow, and I haven't really gotten to people's sites. I read a few posts, but I couldn't really leave comments before I was interrupted.

Well, maybe a few of you are curious about what that project was. I want to take a shot at a kind of "MyOtaku Idol". With all of us, that want to, participating. It's really easy to enter... though I can't really promise fabulous prizes >.> I just need everyone who wants to to send in a recording of themself singing a song, doesn't have to be fancy, just that and the original song (gotta have something to compare it to). If you don't have any recording programs, just scoot on over to audacity.sourceforge.net It's free, it's easy, and it's fun.

I also need a bit of advertizing, so... if anyone can come up with a spiffy picture, and if everyone could put a little spiel in their posts, that'd be great. I'm not putting a limit on the number of participants, so just keep 'em commin'. Have everyone who's interested send me a PM and I'll give them my e-mail.

Grades are in, and I didn't get anything below a C. Which honestly... suprised the heck out of me. I never dreamed I'd get higher than a D in History, >.> I must have performed a miracle on that final. All Cs (1 +), and an A-. Cranks my GPA up to a stunning 2.22 -.- At least I'm not in danger of academic probation anymore. Guess what the A- was in.... Statistics DUH! Attended that class on a non-test day only once, and I get an A-. I would like to thank Mrs. Sprouse (my highschool AP stats teacher), because she is the greatest stats teacher in existense. A little asian woman raised by a marine O.o She was so cool.

That's pretty much all I have to post about, except, I'm going to beat .Hack//GU today. I looked into some research (FAQs) and I'm about 3 story points away from the "end game". Lucky me the second volume hits stores today (Scott, the game never shows up on the release date, that's just when it's shipped).

Crazy dreams again? Yep, this time it was a bunch of us in a college setting, just kinda sittin' around talkin'. Problem is... I'm sitting in a chair surrounded by shadows ^^ I'm not asking for pictures or anything, that's a private matter. When I look at a particular "person" in the dream, I get flashes of their site in my head and I know who it is. Sheesh, well, I've got chores to do.
