myOtaku.com: kirbysdouble
Welcome to my site archives. 10 posts are listed per page.
Well, the 3 hour drive home at 3 in the mornin' wasn't very fun. But, I did sing for 2 and a half hours of it (throat kinds hurts though ^_^).
The festival was mucho fun, and I won 4th place in a smash bros. tournament. Samus brought me that far, but my second elimination pick was kirby, and people were amazed at the fight I put up against fox. I knew I wasn't gonna win, so I just decided to do fancy stuff and mess with his head. Anyways, I got a green dogtag with kirby on one side and "Kirby's Double" on the other side ^_^
On another note, I've been whistling this song everyday since I first heard it.
Hope you get addicted to it as much as I have (the english versioin doesn't have words, and I think it sounds better, but I can't find that -_-)
This post comes to you from MaGFest 07. It's a gaming and musi convention near DC. I can't say much, cause I snuck onto this laptop O.o; The owner will be back any sec, and the keyboard on it doesn't really work (you have to stab the keys, and my fingers hurt from 10 hours of gaming).
woah, we've got torrential downpoors here, and I have to admit, I'm a little skurd.
But, on to better and brighter news.
I finally hooked MY compy back up and I can play ffxi again. Even better, I have recording programs on there now O.o (thank you tiggerolla, I found audacity through one of your old posts).
Hmm, rain just suddenly stopped ._.
Anyone else hear a train? (gets swept up by a tornado)
It's that time between Christ mass and the new year. I've been so bored I've actually taken to working out between workouts 0.o
Anyways, I've been playing Budakai Tenkaichi 2 (I think I actually spelled that right) and it is really fun. It's quite a bit different from Budakai 3 (which may just remain my favorite fighting game EVER): free range movement, ability to string combos together without even thinking about it, a truck load of characters from the beginning of the series up to the whole Baby thing, maybe even further. I've had it for a day and a half and I'm barely 10% through with the story, let alone unlocking everybody. Unfortunately I only rented it, and I only have until next Friday to beat it.
On a side note, I'm in the market for a new theme for the good 'ol site. Any suggestions would be welcome (that is, if anyone actually visits).
Merry Christmas friends, and the best wishes to you all. ^_^ Comments (2) |

The tragedy that is my luck.
Well, it seems that my luck has it's days...I'm passing all of my classes and everything that is necessary in life is going really great. BUT, everytime I try to sit down and read these lines for tiggerola something happens.
It starts out small, but here's the start of the list.
I didn't have a mic to start with.
The mic on my laptop could NOT record my voice (it could catch my roommate whispering at the other side of the room, but not my voice)
My mic at home BROKE.
christmas tree fell O.o
I'm gonna give it a few more tries...but if people start gettin' hurt, I'm gonna give it a second thought. Comments (4) |

Nintendo's doin' a awfull good job of pissing me off lately.
That's right, the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been delayed till mid-december OR early january...
College keeps me way~ too busy. Wish I had more time to be with you guys. Too many papers to write, not enough time (not enough time spent correctly that is).
Well, I'll go poke my head around now. If any of you have a facebook account, look me up, Brian Prater. Comments (2) |
