A bit O' the bad news. My Compy is in pieces. I decided it was time for an upgrade to my video card, mainly cause BioShock requires it. So $130 later and I'm about to plug my souped up graphics hardware and... the connection is backwards ;_; Yes, apparently some industry standard has changed in the last 3-4 years (go figure ^^;). The way my PCI slots face, the connection for the monitor will be INSIDE Compy. This is obviously not cool, but to add insult to injury the plate that attaches it to the case has a little bit of metal... that would have to be punched through the motherboard to let it be plugged in >.> I don't feel like killing Compy. So, instead, I'm using my ninjinuity (ha ha) and machining the video card down so that it'll plug in, the right
------- (that's a story break)
^^ My dad just walked in and took the chunk off like it was nothing (he's not computer savvy, luckily nothing was damaged). Still gotta dremel down the sharp edge, but it should be good to go in within' the hour! w00t, Compy will live again!
