   I haven't updated in forever...
I didn't wind up going to the Comic thing the other day, I figured it would be a bunch of 40-year-old men. I don't remember if I said anything about the report I was doing about someone I thought changed the world. I was going to do Hayao Miyazaki (he did Spirited Away, My neighbor Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies et cetera) I didn't get to do him because I couldn't find any books on him at the library (big suprise -o- ) So instead I did Walt Disney and come to find out I could tie him to Osamu Tezuka(Astro Boy father of Manga), Hayao Miyazaki, and the creation of Bugs Bunny. It's actually somewhat fascinating.

I'm covered up with stuff to do...
I've got several reports and things do next week. I hate the end of the six weeks!!! Ah well, I figured out why I suddenly started missing Mark again, we're studying the middle East. Augh I'm all depressed cause I'm such an exiled freak and I realize how irratating certain people are that everybody else thinks are wonderful! (if that makes any sense at all) Anyway, yeah, that's my update...

   I'm mad!!!!
I had to recite a poem today, I recited The Hollow Men by T.S. Elliot. I did good (I think) and didn't get stuck once. I'm mad because the freshmen in my 4rth period cheat in everything and then get mad when I won't help them cheat. It's one thing to give somebody your homework every once in a while but it's something else when they want it all the time. I also realized that I miss the missionary's son from church. They left for the mission field 2 months ago and won't be back for years. I miss him he was really sweet and shy.

   Well ya'll...
I decided to lay out of school today (if you knew me you'd know that I rarely lay out of school) and I found out that my town isn;t so backwater after all!!!!! It's not a very big leap but in two weeks we're going to have a mini-comic-con-thing in our school gym....AND I MIGHT GET TO GO!!!!!! Yep you know you're a total freak when you actually want to go to a sweaty, geeky, display of nerdiness such as that. But I've really wanted to go to an anime con forever and I can't pass up the chance. Also, I got my Halloween costume, I'm going to be a white cat! It's actually just the ears and tail I'll dress cute though. Bye!

I'm glad for your stunning show of support guys...
you'd think that with about 12 people on my friends list (I know it's sad but it's probably a higher number than my real-life friends)you'd think that somebody would have answered my question. Well whatever, I answered it myself I'm going to write about Hayao Miyazaki. If anybody's out there, what do ya'll think about him? (if you don't know who he is, read my post from yesterday you lazy bum!)

I'm going to do a report ya'll
and I wanted your opinions. It's about a person who we think changed the world and will be talked about even 200 years from now. I'm thinking of doing either Osamu Tezuka (creator of Astro Boy and considered the father of manga) and Hayao Miyazaki (of studio Ghibli and Spirited Away) What do ya'll think? Any other suggestions or comments?

Would this make you want to read something?
When all was not well with poor young Thomas his dear brother, Timothy, would take care of him. His friends and neighbors referred to Timothy as angelic, yet, they didn’t realize the truth of the matter. Who would have guessed that sweet Timothy held an almost ungodly secret inside him? At odd times the boy would “change” into something less than human, a beast with a man’s face and body but the wings of a bird. At these times Timothy would disappear and later have no recollection of what happened, save horrific, slurred, and miserable dreams of wandering barbarically through the forest. What bothered him most though was the one dream… the dream that caused him to shudder uncontrollably, the dream that involved blood. Everywhere the smell of it, he couldn’t find it till he glanced down at his wretched, taloned hands and found them dripping with God knows what’s blood. He wasn’t a monster, was he? Had he killed? What was left for him now?

Actually i'm just posting this so I can pull it up at home, but I would like to know. :)

I am probably officially an otaku now...
We were going over something we read the other day in class today and my English teacher decides he's going to reference something so he says, "What's the name of the guy who made Spirited Away?" and he looks right at me and Kelsey (my anime and J-rock loving friend who sits behind me) and instantly I respond with the answer "Hayao Miyazaki!!!" and the whole class whipped around to look at me like I was insane and I just giggled nervousely (so did Kelsey)and he kept on saying, "what was it? Somebody's Moving Castle?" I retorted with "Howl's Moving Castle. It's Howl's Moving Castle!" Because he didn't hear me the first time. One boy said, "How do you know this stuff?" (stupid wanna-be redneck prep boy!!!) I said, "I'm just cool that way." When the bell rang I came up to Mr. Davis and said, "Have you seen Howl's Moving Castle Mr. Davis?" (my voice got a little squeeky because I was excited) And he said, "Yes I have. The colleges around here are sponsering a foreign films thing on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you girls want to wait a second we can look up the internet." (it's kind of funny he's a short, skinny, little man with glasses and slightly gapped teeth. Very nice and likes his job really imaginative and open-minded (: )

Well, anyway, shockingly, my area isn't so backwater afterall! Apparently, on Mondays and Tuesdays During certian months they show special interest and foriegn films!!!! Which, this wouldn't be too fascinating but among them is HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE!!! *twitch* Unfortunately, I probably won't get to see it as it's anime and they only show these films at 4:00 and 7:30 and my mom can't take me to the 4:00 and I'm sure nobody would take me to the 7:30. They'd find some stupid excuse even if I could find a friend to go with who has transportation...It vexes me so... Ya'll will find out later on if I get to go or not, but, I seriously doubt it... (Sorry that was so long, in summary, I drew attention to myself, found out some crap and now really want to go see a movie in theaters I've already seen in subtitles.)

You know I feel sorry for you guys....
my life is really really boring on paper...internet...pixels... WHATEVER!!! Well anyway, I got the first volume of FULL MOON O SAGASHITE saterday and I must say I was quite pleased. My favorite character is Tanuka because he's so cute and sweet. It was so sad when *spoiler warning* Tanuka said that being a shikigami was a semi-permanent job for those who have commited suicide. T-T *end spoiler* Now I have to change my theme...
