I went to a football game...
And I had a lot of fun, I hung out with some friends and we won the game. We were standing in line to buy some water and this guy standing in front of us starts talking to us. It was really creepy he was a freshmen in college and had come to the game by himself. He insisted he recognized Katie and I and I swear he looked familair to me. Eventually it came to light that Trevor remembered this guy from church and he offered to treat us. We declined afraid and he said something about sitting with us. Luckily he saw someone else he knew so we escaped.

What I really want to tell you guys about was something very worrisome though. I saw one of my friends in fact the "neighbor kid" I'm always talking about at the game. He looked really really badk, his eyes were bloodshot and I waived at him and he didn't even recognize me. (He looke right at me and didn't recongnize me.)I was of course worried but he did waive at Katie when he saw her and I hoped I was mistaken. Then I saw him again and his eyes were even worse almost yellow and he was leaning on to other boys for support. I again waived at him this time he turned to look and didn't even respond at all. I of course was worried and did the only thing I could, I called my mom. I nearely broke down in front of my friend Trevor luckily we ran into someone else I know and I pulled myself together.I don't want him to get hurt, I want him to be safe and happy. I just can't help but wonder why in the hell he would do that? Why?! Doesn't he know better?!

I saw my drama teacher and he said we might be able to do an underground school newspaper and that we'd gotten our scripts in. So they should have a play chosen soon. I also had a long involved nerdy conversation with Trevor which I highly enjoyed. Apparently he's still a Pokemon fan and I already knew he loves Yugioh. He apparently was slightly emberassed to admit it until I told him about Gaia and my roleplaying exploits. It was really funny. I might get to go to a party at an arcade today, and I'm excited about that. I hope I get to go see Conqueror of Shamballa tommorrow but I doubt it, it's so far away.

Pray for my friend though everybody.

Days is Days good and bad
So I had a good day today, I dressed as one of our teachers for switch day today. (It's a special dress day where the teachers dress as students and students dress as teachers) but anywho, the teacher has long shoulder-length hair and a little beatnic mustache with matching soul patch. (not only does the man teach honors English he also holds drama club) My hair just happens to be a similar length so I decided I'd be him. I drew the mustache and soulpatch with an eyeliner pencil and wore a dress up shirt and tie, people told me I was Awsome all day. I also helped with our school-spirit-week-thing. I helped with a door decorating contest, I drew our mascot but my friend (my new friend I was telling you guys about) drew our opposing mascot and her's is better TT_TT And she got her's done entirely she had to help me finish mine...talk about showing somebody up. I'll get over it eventually... Actually my getting over it consists of working feverishly to become better, I have a bit of a Rock Lee complex in that respect. If I fancy myself good at something and somebody totally shows me up, I'll work my hardest to become as good and better than they are... curse pride.

Good and Bad
Today was good and bad altogether. I did manage to assert my own brand of "cool" today.
We had to rewrite the story of Achilles killing Hector (from the Iliad) from his point of view and then read it. If you didn't know I can read very dramatically if I so choose. They were silent for me. *cat mouth smile* Also if you didn't know it's kind of violent (who'd have guessed) and my rendition wasn't wholy lacking gory details (would have been longer given more time) so of course I got the OMG! A girl wrote that?! Or maybe I did I didn't really look at them I just boomed my challenge and nearly fainted when done.

The bad was that my great-grandfather (he's ninety-five) is sick, I think with congestive heart failure and although he looks good, they say his condition is very bad. We visited him today and I'm not sure how I felt or rather how to feel about it. Pray for him please.

I have a cat that likes to ride in the car....
I'm serious, sometimes my little cat Neko rides with us on short trips. She either just sits there or wanders the car quietly, she's very calm. I love her, darn it! I didn't really like her that much when she first showed up at our house, I didn't want to get attatched, especially to a cat because my dad (and myself) is allergic to cats. But she just kept hanging around and she's so darn cute and so sweet. I don't really like cats because a lot of them are arrogant and I want something cuddly that wants to be cuddled but she wants love. I just hate she can't come inside. It kills me, we let her in when Daddy's not home. :)

We restarted Drama today, Mr. J said that we might be able to go to NEW YORK!!! So much manga.... and art and clothes and stuff!!! I want to go so badly.

Would you guys jump on the opportunity to go to New York if given the chance?

   I made a friend today!
I was happy, Well I guess starting making a friend talking to somebody for thirty minutes doesn't make them your friend yet. But her name is Katie and she's a nerd too. She just transferred froma different school so she doesn't know anybody so it was good for me. She likes to draw too so that was good.I was so happy to have somebody to talk to today was my first full day back at school and I was a little worried I would wind up not talking to anybody again.

   Catfight!
So I've probably told you about our cat Neko by now, right? Well the stupid thing tryed to get in my window last night. She got on the roof and there was a tiny hole in my screen and I had a fan in my window (because it's really hot upstairs in summer) and somehow she managed to worm her way in and got in my room. I took her all the way back downstairs and outside(while my dad shut my window and took my fan out and just about as soon as I got back upstairs she was trying to get in again. She got in and got stuck between the glass and the screen and freaked out and tryed to climb the screen. Finally she got back out but she came back about three times after that and did the same thing. She's stupid, God love her. Today a little black cat come up and he and Neko fought. It was so funny because he was just batting one paw at her and he'd run and hide from her.

I've got two days until school, who else doesn't want to go?

   Yep well...
I finished Julias Ceaser and that's about all productive I did all day. We just got back from the mall I saw some friends one of whom Andy was one of the ones whose basically deserted me, he didn't have an excuse for not calling us back. We went to the arcade and the boy working there was cute. There's a game in our arcade that you play with gloves it's a punching game and it makes your arms tired. Well Joshua (my little brother) wanted to play it so I went to get the gloves from the guy, he played it a little while and lost so I played it and beat it on easy mode.(...yay) But I returned the gloves and the cute guy was sitting there drawing some fantasy warrior guy. (Not only that but he had anime pins all over his apron-thingy, a bonus) If I had the nerve I would have told him what a good drawing it was and asked to see it, I almost did I probablu visibly stuttered. I wish I had the nerve to talk to people. Why the hell is it so hard just to talk to somebody? Especially if you're going to compliment them? I hate myself a little bit when this sort of thing happens. I can't talk naturally to people I don't know, hell I can't even talk normally to people I do know I always freak out a little. I think it's a lack of confidence thing, it sucks.

   School is killing me!
And I'm not even in school yet! I have a summer reading list that I haven't read and of course I have English this semester. It was just two books Farewell to Manzanar and Julias Ceaser but I know that Julias Ceaser is a long book and I have no idea about Farewell. I waited until about a month before school starts to start bugging my mom about taking me to a library and I didn't make it to one until last week they didn't have either book although Farewell was checked out. Our public library just had one copy of this damn book and they send at least thirty kids out to find and read it before the two month summer break is over? The library doesn't even carry Julias Ceaser at all even though it's by Shakespeare, WTF?

   Life is but a bean.
Well I had an ok day we went to the lake again today we went yesterday also. Yesterday we took Mark, my neighbor kid friend with us and today we took one of my mom's friends and her six year old son. Both days went pretty well as far as everybody being good the six year old was a little obnoxious but good none the less. Today we got stranded for an hour and a half when the boat wouldn't start. We swam a lot but we ran into a bunch of trees because my mom didn't anchor us because we were going to go tubing. Eventually my mom got it to start and it was fine after that. Yesterday was fun Mark doesn't usually get to go anywhere so he was pleased as punch. We had previously taken him to the mall and a Books-a-Million where he bought the second volume of Bleach and I bought Guru-Guru Pon-chan vol. five. It has taken many years but Katie and I have finally converted him to the manga side of the dorkdom. Suppossedly a friend gave him the first volume and he left the second one at our house so of course I read it. I haven't read any of it before today but it was pretty cool, it's a pretty good book for manga begginers because it's a Shonen Jump "graphic novel" it's cheaper and all of the sound effects are translated so it's easier for the inexperienced to pick up.

I figured out why noone reads my blog....
I whine a lot. I was going back through my posts and I whine a lot in the little posts. Anytime something good happens it's a long post and nobody wants to read it so they all think I whine constantly.

Well anyway we did go to the lake but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. That boat goes very fast and if you sit in the very front it feels like your'e flying. I took a few pictures but it's all just landscape and all lakes look the same, right? (I kid, I know that not all lakes are created equal)
