   I'm back!
Well, I have good news and bad news about my little brother, the good news is that they're fairly sure that they can make him feel better and regain his mobility, the bad news is, he's pretty far gone and he's going to have to get three shots twice a week. Also, he has to wear braces on his arms when he sleeps (that we all agree make it look like he has gunarms) He was so incredibly brave about it apparently. Katie, Caleb, and I stayed in the hotel room because we thought it would be a fairly short visit and that we'd just be in the way but it ended up taking from 10 am until 5 pm. None of us ate any lunch so that kind of sucked. The doctor's were incredibly thorough and apparently very kind, they sent him home with a medical kit with real supplies including a needle. (minus the actual needle but still with that little plastic thing that covers the needle) He gave us all about 100 shots and he filled it with water that wound up squirted all over our hotel room and everybody's arms. Him and Caleb put on the hairnets, gloves, and facial masks, and we called them "Beautiful Dr. Caleb," and "Handsome Dr. Joshua," I thought it was funny so I'm writing it here so I won't forget. Katie and I decided that the face masks made it look like they were in the Yakuza though...

On to the not so much news as the not depressing part. XD The car ride wasn't bad because I finally got to read Twilight. I finished it the second day while we waited for my parents and Joshua to return and was sorely depressed. It was an awsome book, and I would have been satisfied, but damn if they didn't put a preview for the second book in the back to read that ended on a cliffhanger when I was unable to go buy the book and thought that I was going to have to go home and read Wuthering Heights for summer reading. (turns out, I have English 2nd semester.) They have a really awsome mall in Durham, and we went there twice. I bought some sort of japanese melon soda that I haven't tryed yet in their fye, and I bought some delicious "Forest Fruit" tea (Katie bought Morrocan Mint) from a stand-vendor-thingy called Tribal Teas The girl that worked there was really nice, seemed like she was probably an anime fan but we didn't get to talk about it. I wanted to buy some Matcha, but in order to make it we would have had to buy a wisk that I would have had no use for once the tea ran out. They don't sell high-quality tea where I live so we almost didn't get any tea at all because we had to buy a little strainer thing (it's heart-shaped, so cute!)so that the tea wouldn't run wild. It's cool, you put a little teaspoon of tea in, and when it's done and you wash out the mesh thing, the tea leaves have revived and are grean and soft again. (I didn't even realize they were whole leaves they were so small.) I also finally found the second volume of Cafe Kichijouji and a picture-book about samurais in the Books-a-Million there.

We also stopped at a mall in Greensboro NC and it was a really nice mall as well, we bought some "jade" charms at a store called Dragon Seed and I bought a Rurouni Kenshin keychain in their Hot Topic. We also stopped for lunch in Greensboro and ate in Carolina's Diner. If you're ever in Greensboro, there food was great, and the service was excellent. I got a sandwhich with beef, ham, and bacon all together, it was delicious, though oddly enough the beef had an irredescent luster like an oil slick.

We also stopped at a cival-war shot tower, which is apparently where musket shots were made. The tower is about one hundred feet tall and they'd drop molten metal down the middle shaft were it would land in a basket in a tunnel carved below the tower that came out next to a river. It was a beautiful old building and I might upload some pictures. (we didn't get to go inside though.)

I think that's everything, sorry this post was so freakishly long and thank you to all of you who prayed for Joshua, I told him that between Katie and I we had half the internet praying for him. :) I don't know if he believed us, but it sounded good anyway.
