   Oh my God...
I believe I've met the other half of the anime viewing population...it kind of freaked me out...It started out innocent enough, Katie and I did finally got to go to Carowinds yesterday and like last year she wanted to get a caricture done. (I did too) So we finally get are grandpa to let us do so and we find a stand and among the pictures of celebrities and such is a picture of someone drawn as Sasuke from Naruto. The guy who works there comes up and asks us what we want we tell him we want a black and white full-body pic of both of us. Then he asks us what pose and we say the ninja over there. (We assumed he wouldn't know what it was) So he looks a little suprised and says,"What village do you want to be from?" and I say "Konohoa." and he's is absolutely shocked. "Oh wow," he says."girls who like Naruto that I didn't introduce to it." He asks us what characters are our favorites, I told him Naruto, Katie said I was simple, and I said "But, he's plucky."

We talk a little bit after that and about this time our artist's friend shows up, our artist says, "Come here, look at this!" to his friend who walks over and says, "Do they know, or did they just like the design?" His friend answers, "Yes, they know.",and his friend totally freaks out. "Girls who like Naruto?! You've made my week! I'm going to blog about this tonight Jacob!"(whom I'm guessing was the artist) I said, "You'd be suprised." He said, "What are you talking about? There are no girls on the internet!" So he spazzed some more and asked us where we go to school or college, he was hoping we lived near him.(hee hee) So we told him and he's like "Where's that?" and the artist told him it wasn't near there and said, "Of course not." and his friend looked a little crushed. But he spazzed some more and talked on and on about the Naruto video game and Kingdom Hearts. Somewhere in there Katie told him her favorite character was Gaara and I said she was angsty(he also asked where we would like to have our headbands)There was also a little boy that came up with his dad who was waiting to have his caricture done who added to the conversation. The little boy was so cute! The artist said he was going to tell his friend in another booth about it and that his friend would be wishing we had come stopped by is booth instead. Then, when he was done, he had his friend come over and look at his finished work and said, "It's one step closer to your dream." and his friend just sort of gawked. Then he gave us a little discount and we payed him and left while saying I that we'd made some new friends. I'll scan the picture in later. That was hilarious, or at least I thought it was. If you come across that dude's blog, I'd like to know.
