Well... Saturday has begun its descent into Sunday. I hope y'all had a good day.

I went to see Sin City. It's really different. Definitely not a movie for kids. Sorry, gang, we have nudity and violence and blood! It's a visually interesting film... was filmed in black and white with splashes of color here and there. Frequently the color was the blood, but sometimes it could be a car or a girl's eyes. Very visual! Somewhat confusing at times, but it all gets tied together in the end.

Additional: I realized about an hour later that I didn't update y'all on my hockey team. They won their game tonight! But so did Lincoln, so we still ended up tied in the standings. Lincoln will get the higher seed in the playoffs 'cause they beat us more in regular season play. So the playoffs begin in the next week or so... and we play Lincoln! Arrrgh!

It was an away game tonight and they lost! How dare they!!! The only consolation is, the team we're tied with for second place also lost their game tonight. So... we're still tied for second place!!!! Arrrgh! It boils down to tomorrow's games to see who gets home ice advantage for the playoffs!

Well... as I said the other night, I was playing with my digital camera. The Sano picture turned out very nice. But I have a picture of the incredibly rare Jedi Spoon!

Well...when I got back to studying after the threats from Kenshin, I actually got through three chapters! Woohoo! If I keep up the pace, I may have that book done sometime this year!

I'm sneaking around on myself while studying!

I just had to submit the artwork I did last night & this morning. I stayed up until about 2 am working on the Kenshin picture. I'll admit it. I chickened out with the dip pens and used my fountain pens that have ink cartridges. Sam & Hikaru were doodles that happened while watching Hellboy this morning.

So... how was your Wednesday? Mine was damp. I woke to the sound of rain on the roof. I like that sound. It's very peaceful. It didn't rain all day, though, but it was much cooler out than the past couple days.

I did some studying this afternoon. Got through one chapter out of 38!!! Eek!

Well. I went to the last home hockey game tonight. We won again! Now we're tied with Lincoln in the standings. As mentioned before, we need to win all of our remaining games and they need to lose theirs so we can pull ahead in the standings. I think each team has two games left.

Sorry to keep boring you all with this hockey talk, but it's my favorite sport and with there being no NHL this year, I gotta cling to the league that is near and dear to me.

It was really nice out again today. I actually went outside a couple times! Well... sort of... I went to Sioux City twice. Once in the morning to do some shopping and then late in the afternoon for the game! I put a little over 100 miles on the car doing that!

I don't feel like doing much on the computer tonight. Do you guys ever get bored with the thing? I know I can get frustrated with it. But tonight it's slightly bored. I guess I want to read manga rather than play on this thing. However, I should stay on the computer 'cause I finished off my Networking book today! *does a happy dance* But, I have the next course to start reviewing... and there's lots of chapters to print out the quizzes and such for. I could start working on that and read manga while the printer is printing! Yeah! That's a great idea!

   No.... I don't wanna get sick!

It's late Monday night and I have a sore throat! Not fair!!

Well, today was really really nice outside. It got up to 82 degrees over in Sioux City. I'm not sure what it was over here, but it sure was nice. I broke out my sandals!!!

However, I spent most of the nice day inside doing five loads of laundry!!!!! Grrrr! I did go for a walk a little after 4 o'clock.

Well. I installed new antivirus software on this thing earlier tonight and updated it right away. Now I should do the scan. Hmmm...maybe tomorrow.

Remember I said last night that I was going to do something creative with paper? I did! It's in my fanart now! Go. Look. Enjoy!

I may even do more creative stuff with paper here! My Mom gave me a little calligraphy set and I want to experiment with it. It's one of those where you have to dip the pen into the ink. Should be fun and hopefully I won't screw up the picture I want to do!

Well, I hope everyone had a good Easter. I ate too much at dinner, but it was a really good meal. My brother-in-law (the one with the tattoo) is a former professional chef, so he does all the holiday cooking. Yum!!! My other sister & her husband & son came up from Council Bluffs too, so most of the family was together for the meal.

I was well on my way to reading a lot of posts tonight, but then the firewall on this thing decided to misbehave and I had to spend about a half hour fighting to get my internet access to work again. So... I apologize to those that I didn't get to visit tonight. I have little patience with this thing right now, so I'm going to go and do something creative with paper.

Yeah, I'm being naughty and laughing at the bad luck of others. I went to the hockey game tonight. My team won again. Yay us!! But what made the victory even sweeter was the fact that the team that's just ahead of us in the standings lost both their games this weekend! That puts us only 2 points behind them now. If they lose the rest of their games and we win the rest of our games, we'll be ahead of them!!! Woohoo!!!

Well... I did get stuff at the game. I got a can cooler thingy and a sticker to go in the rear window of my car. I now have an excuse to take window cleaner out to the car and clean inside the rear window! The can thingy is still in my purse.

Not much happened today. I studied for a little while. I'm almost done with the networking book! Yay me! I didn't get too far, 'cause my brother got up and we went to Sioux City around 2:30 in the afternoon. That's three days in a row that I went there! It will be four 'cause we're gonna go again tomorrow!

Went to the Musketeers game. We won! Yay! We're gonna go again tomorrow night. It's Fan Appreciation Night. I could win stuff! Ooh...stuff!

Well, it's rather late & the computer is acting a bit odd. I think I'm gonna tell my brother to run something on it if he comes up here later and then I'm gonna wander off to bed.
