   Better now.

I woke up this morning and still had that awful headache. Stupid sinuses. I did manage to get rid of it eventually and was able to drive back to my own place with no trouble.

Tried something really interesting for a snack tonight. My brother bought me a bag of cocoa flavored Chex Mix. It's got pretzels and Chex and marshmallows! All covered in cocoa powder. It's actually rather good. Too bad it's a "Limited Edition" thing.

   I should go to bed.

I got up at 10:25 this morning. What a late snooze! Did some email stuff before lunch. Had the flat tire, which at this point hasn't been fixed. (It's Sunday in a town of around 1500 people... nowhere to go to get it fixed!) Played a card game with the parentals and brother. Had dinner. Watched TV. It's now 10:29 pm. Sometime within the past 12 hours, I found a headache. Blah. So... I think I will go to bed and try to get rid of this headache.

   Hooray for nails!

I've been fighting a slow leak in a tire for a few weeks now. Went to leave the parentals' house to return to my place and had an entirely flat tire. Yay. So...pull everything out of the car and back into the house 'cause all I have is a tiny little spare tire. Got the spare out of the trunk and discovered there's no jack! Whee! Fortunately my brother has a jack in his car and we got the tiny spare on the car. Dad was going to put the tire up on the porch until we can get it fixed tomorrow. I said put it in the trunk. It only makes sense to have the tire in the car that it came off of in the first place. Let the guys that are going to fix the tire put it back on! Dad also discovered the nail in the tire. Woohoo.

   Merry Christmas!!

Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban on DVD, a pair of jeans, some soap, a couple Marvel Flickers (Wolverine & Daredevil), and a bunch of wire puzzle things.

   ...and the bells were ringing out for Christmas Day...

Well...'tis Christmas Eve. Tomorrow is Christmas Day. Wow. Where has the year gone?

Most of the family was here today. All that was missing were my two oldest neices and their significant others. But it was a blast. My one sister brought a slide projector and we spent the afternoon looking at all the old slides of the family from when my oldest sister was a little girl through to when I was around 6 years old or so. Of course, there was a lot of laughter involved at some of the pictures. Maybe even some that could be used for blackmail at some point in time. Anyhoo...it was a fun day. Tomorrow we'll have Christmas dinner here. My oldest brother and his family won't be here, though. They were here just for today.

And now... I should probably go to bed. Naaaa. I gotta finish reading my email. Then maybe a few other things and then off to bed. I just have to move the cat first.

   Well...I'm here.

Yep. I made it up to my parents' house with no trouble at all. I was afraid I'd run out of gas, though. The only weird thing was when I tried to turn to go into the alley that goes to the driveway, I slid past. Yeah, there was just a little bit of ice on the street. Whee!!!

Tomorrow all my siblings will be here for the day. It should be fun. We've not all been together since the Fourth of July. We're going to have pizza for meal... not sure which one, though.

Meanwhile... Vash & Kenshin are wondering where they are.

Vash: *poking Neko in the belly* Kenshin! Look at this cat! It's so fat!

Kenshin: This one has never seen such a fat neko. *pokes Neko in the belly*

Me: Guys! Quit poking my cat in the belly. You gotta rub it like this. *rubs Neko's belly*

Neko: purrr......

   I'm an idiot. Part 2

I got through class okay. Got home and had supper. Mmm...spaghetti. Around 5 pm, I decided to fire up the computer and play a few games before going online. I have the laptop on the floor, so I lay down by it on my back while waiting for it to boot up. I took my glasses off to rub my eyes. I had put them on my stomach while laying there. When I reached for them to put them back on, they were gone! They had slid off of me and I rolled slightly to look for them.... Well... I bent one of the bows right at the hinge. So I had to call my sister to come and take me down to the mall so I could get them straightened out enough to wear without feeling like this ---> @_@ So now one of the bows is bent because the guy couldn't get the actual bend straight. *rolls eyes*

Please accept that as the reason why I may not get to all your sites tonight. I'm tired and slightly swirly-eyed because my glasses are slightly out of whack from what they were before I rolled on them. I barely even rolled over!!!!

I'll be heading up to my parents' house for Christmas tomorrow. So visits will be sporadic at best all weekend. I do wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.

Time to hit what sites I can before I get to tired to see.

   I'm an idiot.

Yes. I admit I was an idiot this morning. I signed up for some lab time over at the center from 10 to 3 today. I made myself a lunch... and left it sitting on the floor in my apartment!!! So... there I was, all the way over in west Omaha, with no lunch and no money to buy lunch. Fortunately, there's free coffee there. Had a cup & a half. There was also Christmas candy all over the place. And the receptionist gave me a granola bar. So, there was a Kitsune running around with a serious caffeine/sugar buzz. And now there's a Kitsune running around with the headache that comes after a serious caffeine/sugar buzz. Hopefully, I'll remember to take that lunch with me tomorrow when I have class.

And now, an apology. I started to check sites last night, but got an email from a friend and got offline to call my Mom with the news. I just never got back online after that. Sorry. The news? My best bud's wife had her baby!!! Woohoo!! I've got another unofficial nephew! Yay!
