   Middle of the afternoon postiness!

Yeah... here it is, the middle of the afternoon and I'm posting. I should be studying, but something wonderful happened. Someone that means something to me was gone for a few days and I was very worried about him. He is back. I won't go into details, it's up to him whether he wants to talk about it. But, if you're reading this, you know who you are and I'm very happy that you're safe now. Remember, I'm here for you. Just email or PM or IM me (if we're online at the same time).

Well... all the weather did was turn really cold. No snow in the forecast for now. Yay! I want to be able to get up to my parents' house for Christmas. My oldest brother is going to be down for Christmas eve! They've not been down for a while again.

I should be studying. But I haven't been able to concentrate. Maybe I'll try again after supper tonight. I'll probably hit sites a bit later in the evening than I usually do then.

   I survived!!!

Yes! I survived my nephew's birthday party! It was trippy. About 8 or 10 kids showed up. I got there about the same time as a couple of them. Their mom told me their dad would be back at 3 to pick them up. I said that was good, but I wasn't who she thought I was. My sister and I look a lot alike. She then told my brother-in-law. My other sister and her family even made it down for the party. I did manage to get about 125 tickets from the one machine. They're stashed with the others I have. I don't know what I'm going to do with them.

It decided to get rather cold outside this afternoon. I don't mind the cold so much. I just don't like the snow.

It's a week until Christmas....

And Kenshin has no idea what to get me!

   I got manga!!!!

...but it's not mine to keep.

I went to the library to return a How to Draw Manga book, and wandered into the section where the manga is stashed and found a whole bunch of new stuff on the shelf!!! Yay! I grabbed Rave Master #9 & #10 and Mermaid Saga #1, #2 & #3. They also had a bunch of Ranma 1/2 and a few other titles.

I so happy now.

Tomorrow is my nephew's birthday party. He'll be 11 on Tuesday. The party is going to be at the arcade in the mall. Whee... video games with pre-teen boys! My other sister and her family will be coming down for the party, too. That should be fun.

   I was so bad today.

I hardly studied at all. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I really need to study for those tests! I also have to figure out when I'm gonna take them!

Other than massively procrastinating when it came to studying, nothing happened. I went to the mall and walked around just to get out of the apartment. I looked at RuroKen #9, but didn't buy it. I want it so bad!!! I have no money!!!!! I may go back and sit and read it like I did with Trigun Maximum #1 before I had cash to buy it.

Vash: *whispering from one closet* Pssst...Kenshin? I think Kitsune has calmed down. Go check on her.

Kenshin: *whispering from the other closet* Why don't you go check on her?

Me: *tiptoeing back to closets* Boo! *runs away giggling*

Vash: Eek! *jumps up and hits head on shelf* Ouch!

Kenshin: That's one advantage this one has over you. This one will never hit his head on that shelf.

Vash: Yeah, you are a shrimp, aren't you?

Kenshin: Take that back! *reaches for his sword, but it's not there* Oro? Ah! Kitsune-dono took it last night. This one must retrieve it.

Vash: No! Don't go out there! She's still crazy!

Kenshin: She's crazy? *ventures out of the closet*

Me: *hiding behind couch*.... *falls asleep*

Me: *staring off into the distance* Excel... spreadsheets... macros...

Vash: I think she needs a donut!

Kenshin: But we don't have any.

Vash: *grabs car keys from the table* But I have the car keys! Now where did she hide the faceplate for the stereo? *starts looking for the faceplate and accidentally jingles the keys*

Kenshin: Vash! Shhhh!!!!

Me: *wakes at the sound of jingling keys* All right, Spikey! Hand them over or face my wrath! *grabs Kenshin's sword before he can protest*

Vash: Eeek! *tosses keys in air and runs to hide*

Kenshin: *runs and hides as well* Oro! Vash, wait for this one!

Me: *looks around with a mischievous grin* Heh heh heh....

   Tree butchers!!!! and other of life's little oddities.

I awoke this morning to the sound of chainsaws. Yes the butchers were in the courtyard going after the few trees they had missed yesterday. All the trees there now are about a third the size they had been. Later there was a pounding on my door... the maintenance man was there and asked me to move my car so the butchers could get at the tree I park by and not damage my car! I wonder what he would have done if I would have said "No."

I'm supposed to be studying for tests, but I just have this problem with it right now. I don't know what it is. Maybe... it could be the issues with Demon Spawn! If I can't get the thing to start up IE at all, I swear I'm going to get Wolfwood to put a bullet in it. My latest greeting is a direct result of my misadventures with Demon Spawn. By the way, Caprice, it's a Compaq, not a Cow Computer.

I had sort of decided that I wasn't going to go to the library today. But as I had watched one of the DVDs I had checked out, and didn't feel like watching the other one, I took them back. On the way back I saw a deer... running around the fence of the St. Albert High School baseball field. It made it across the slightly busy street as far as I could see in my rearview mirror. What was really cool was there was this girl standing on the sidewalk no more than 10 feet away from it as it rounded the fence. She had this truly amazed look on her face. It was so cool.

   I give up!

That's it! I surrender! I think my sister's demon spawn of a computer is the first one that has defied me. I can't even get it to do a system restore!!! I have wasted another two hours on the thing today. I've been fighting with it for over two weeks now, and it seems that there is nothing to be done to it, except for a bullet in the CPU.

Otherwise, today I rediscovered the Woodland Sprite in me. It was getting a little upset at the sound and sight of a guy with a chainsaw at the trees in the courtyard. The really pretty big tree is now about 1/3 the width it had been before the butcher got to it. He took live branches down! Grrr....

I will be back later this evening to hit sites. I think this little laptop and my brain cell both need a break.

   Ho hum...

Well...I don't feel sore anymore today. Yay! It was just a temporary soreness. Sorry I didn't have pictures of me falling over, pyroprincess! I was holding the camera at the time. I noticed something about the pictures, though. The lights look like they're multi-colored. Actually they're all white lights except for a multi-color snowman and the silly red O! logo that is on the one bridge.

Today was pretty mellow. Mom & Dad dragged me to church this morning. It was all right. I haven't been to church in ages.

After church & a little lunch, they went over to my sister's house to spend the afternoon with them before heading back up to home.

The weekend with the parental units was pretty good all in all. Nowhere near as stressful as last year when they spent three weeks with me when my car died.

Me: Vash! Settle down! Look at Kenshin, he's being mature about it. *points to couch where Kenshin is sitting*

Kenshin: Actually, this one is stuck in the couch and may need help getting off of it.

Me: *blushes* Sorry. My couch is really bad. I even have problems getting off of it.

   Oooowwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!

I'm a klutzy Kitsune tonight! Mom, Dad & I went down to the Gene Leahy Mall over in Omaha to look at the lights. I fell over on a short set of steps and twisted my knee and back. It didn't hurt then, but I am a little sore now. Here's pictures:









This one is at Bayliss Park in Council Bluffs. We didn't stay there too long. Mom was getting cold. So was I.

   It's official. I'm crazy.

I had my last E-commerce class today, and last week was the last of the MS Office classes. Now I have to study for and take no less than EIGHT tests.

I also need to find a job... soon.

I really have lost my mind. Have you seen it?

Anyhoo... my parents are here for a couple days. Therefore, I'm going to miss Toonami tomorrow night!!! So.. someone please let me know what goes on with DragonBall GT & Rurouni Kenshin!!! I'll be able to catch Fullmetal Alchemist on the rerun Thursday night.

Vash: *hiding in closet in the bedroom* Shhhh! They'll see me.

Kenshin: Who? *notices Kitsune's parents on the couch* Oro?

Me: *shoves Kenshin into other closet in bedroom* Now, you guys keep quiet back there! Mom & Dad just wouldn't understand why you guys are here!
