   Blah blah blah blah blah blah....

That pretty much sums up my day. I did as little as possible. I should have studied for some of my certification exams, but... I ended up going to the libraries instead. Yep. Hit both Omaha and Council Bluffs libraries. Found some more books on web design & JavaScript. And a couple novels and manga. Wheee.....

   Ten minutes before class officially starts

I'm here. There's some vehicle outside the window with its motor running. I'm ready to go beat the driver with Kenshin's sword until he leaves.

*looks for Kenshin, but remembers that he's at the apartment and is supposed to be helping Vash with the chores*

Darn....I gotta remember to grab that thing when he's not looking.

   After midnight....

Well. I thought I'd wait until just past midnight to post.

Class went okay. It's Access 2000 Level 3, and the last of the MS Office classes I need to take. I also have class next week, ECommerce. At least that one will be during the daytime.

Much of the snow is gone now. Yay.

Vash: So. How long are we going to sit here?

Kenshin: Until she notices us.

Vash: Should we call attention to ourselves?

Kenshin: No. This one prefers the quiet approach.

Vash: *stomach growls & he blushes* Oops.

Me: Hey! Where have you two been? I've been looking for you for almost two weeks! There's chores to be done! *points to closet where the vacuum cleaner is hiding and to the kitchen where the other cleaning supplies are kept*

Vash: *smacks self in forehead* I knew it! We should have stayed in hiding!

Kenshin: You vacuum. This one doesn't like that machine.

Me: *wicked grin*

   Stupid class schedule

Well...it's still Sunday for me right now, but this will show as being a Monday post. That's okay, 'cause this really deals with Monday stuff.

I have class all week at night! So if I don't hit sites during the week, please don't be mad. It's just that my classes run from 6 to 9 pm... If it was just a couple nights, I wouldn't be quite as upset by it. But it's all week... and it snowed today! So traffic is going to be extra sucky!!!

I may post again later on Monday if something really exciting happened. Or if I'm really bored at class....

   Later the same day....

...

It's the middle of the afternoon. There's not much on TV to grab my attention, so I'm not paying the closest attention to it. I keep getting distracted by what's going on outside my window. It's snowing. My balcony looks like it has been dusted with powdered sugar, and the snowflakes look like you could get a concussion from them if they hit you in the head. I don't think we're supposed to get a lot of snow. I just am not ready for my balcony to look like this yet. Those are rather fuzzy pictures of what my balcony looked like from the end of January to the end of February 2004.

Well. I think I'm going to find something with which to occupy my mind here. I'll probably be back later this evening.

Anyhoo... I have new artwork up. I'm not entirely pleased with the outcome, but he's there for you all to see.

A bit of background information on Hikaru. He's a 15 year old boy that was raised by his father. After his father dies, Hikaru finds out that his mother was a demon princess and that he's got a little sister. So, he's got to start to deal with all sorts of new powers and try to figure out where his mother & sister are.

This is a character I came up with for my manga class. I still don't know for sure if I want to have him in modern times or Meiji era. I think it would be cool to have a half-demon running around modern time, but the whole quest thing doesn't quite fit in with a modern setting.

What do you all think? Of the picture and the concept behind it?

   Time out for fun!

Well... I'm back home to my apartment and am lying on the floor as usual. Rurouni Kenshin is on and Kaoru just beat Sano & Yahiko upside the head!

My favorite hockey team just beat one of their rivals 6 to 3! Woohoo!!! Go Musketeers!

While I was at the parents' house, I found some stuff on their computer. And here you go... a couple self portraits.

   I'm marching to the sound of distant plumbing...

...and the plumbing is going "drip... drip... drip..."

Anyhoo...it's about 12:33 in the morning of November 27th. I'm still at the parents' house, but will be heading back to my place during daylight hours.

Friday was fun. In the morning, Mom, Dad & I put up the outside Christmas decorations. There's a light-up snowman, a tree of lights, a couple fake evergreen trees on the posts to the porch, a couple light-up lamps, and a light-up Nativity scene. Really cute stuff. It looks so cool at night when everything is all lit up. We didn't do anything inside the house. After we were done with that, we went downtown for a cup of coffee at the flower shop/coffee shop. Mmmm.... coffee.

A little while after we got back from coffee, my sisters showed up. We had so much fun! My oldest sister says she wants to take a day off and go down to Council Bluffs so the three of us can terrorize the Omaha Metro area. The hard part will be getting rid of my nephew! It's so much fun when the three of us get together... we don't fight or anything. There's lots of laughing and goofing off, though. My oldest sister was gone for most of my life and has been back in it for the last 12 years and it's great!!!!! If I find family pictures, I'll post one here so you can see the whole gang of us!

Well, I think I've babbled quite enough here, so I'll go now. Have a great weekend, everyone! I'll probably be back later in the day to see what's been going on.

P.S. (edit) I have a picture that is half done (a/k/a pencilled only) that I'm going to try to get inked and scanned before I take off. Then I'll have to email it to myself so I can submit it from home for grading. It's for my manga class, but I'll put it up here, too.
