   I can bend minds with my spoon!

Okay. Today was okay. I actually learned something again. Today we did a quick recap of HTML stuff and talked about the web design process. Really interesting stuff. Then we did a quick lesson on Cascading Style Sheets. They make sense now!

I did point something out to the instructor, however. Yesterday he said we had 18 lessons to cover during the week. I pointed out that there were 38 lessons in the 2 books we have. He was somewhat stunned by the news. So... we plowed through 10 lessons today, as we had done only 4 yesterday.

By the end of class, he was a little goofy.

A few of you mentioned yesterday that my dress is blue. I looked at the picture again and it does look blue. It's really a dark green... 'cause that's my favorite color. If I do any costuming like that, I tend to do green things for myself.

   EEEK! Me in a dress!

Well, since I've been seeing people posting pictures of themselves around here lately, and many of those pictures involve them being in a dress, I thought I'd add to the fun of people in dresses.

This is me. In a dress! A green one. I'm not wearing my glasses. What I remember about the field of grass is that there were thistles and I was wearing sandals underneath all that. The dress is rather warm to wear and weighs a few pounds. And it's a lightweight material! There's just that much fabric involved in the skirt part. I think this was taken after I fixed the top. The original version of the dress had problems.

So, here you go. Me in a dress.

Not much to report today. Haven't felt good all day. No enthusiasm at all. I didn't want to go anywhere, but was forced to go to the grocery store to get milk. Now I have a bit of a stomachache. At least the upside of this is that there's a good possibility that I'll get to sleep at a decent time tonight. I have class tomorrow and all week. Yay!

   It's a good thing that I'm not licensed to slap!

'Cause I would have been slapping people left and right today!

Ever have one of those days where people just got on your nerves? Today was that day for me. I think I got behind every person that had problems with the concept of the speed limit today. For some reason the idea to get UP to the speed limit was beyond the mental capacity of a lot of people today. Then I went to Wal-mart and people were getting in my way. I think the only reason I go to Wal-mart is to remind myself why I hate that store.

Otherwise, I was in a halfway decent mood today. I just wanted to slap a good portion of the population of the Council Bluffs area.

Oh yeah. I stopped at Westroads yesterday... again, I think the only reason I go there is to remind myself how much I hate the place! Anyhoo... I had a coupon for a bookstore and they have Rurouni Kenshin figures! I got one, hoping for Kenshin, but was surprised to open the box and find Sano in pieces! I didn't realize they were models! So I spent around a half hour piecing him together. He has a place of honor on my clock radio in my bedroom. Next time I get a coupon and the wild hair to go to Westroads again (and money), I'll have to get another one to see if I get Kenshin.

   Testing... testing...oh I hate that word right now.

Oh, I shouldn't have done that test today. It was awful! I missed the "passing" score by 1%. There were a few things that I just couldn't figure out and I think the computer was whacked on one part. I think it would help if I actually had the program that I'm trying to get certification on! I'll try again in a couple weeks. I got class all next week again.

   Study Break!

Woohoo! I've been on a study break for about an hour now! Hee hee! I think I may run to the mall just to get out of the apartment for a bit.

And then back to the studying! If I don't, Kenshin & Vash are going to take turns thwacking me in the back of the head!

Kenshin: Yes, especially since this one's sakabato was found hidden in a pile of papers!

Vash: Look! I have a shinai! Bring donuts when you get back!

Kenshin: Don't encourage her! *thwacks Vash with the sakabato*

Vash: Ow! Hey! *thwacks Kenshin with the shinai*

*the thwacking begins...and I'm not involved*

Me: Okay...I think this is a good time to sneak away.

   Grrr....

Okay. It's Wednesday night, and I like to watch CSI: NY. It's the last five minutes of the show and they're talking to the guy that killed the people and there's a CBS News Special Report! The last five minutes!!!! Gone!!!!! Just to let me know that Yassir Arafat died. It's sad that the man died, but why the last five minutes of the show? It's not fair!

   Weather....

or not! Well, it's acting like fall out there. It's been cool and rainy today. And the radio mentioned that four-letter word that starts with "S" for tonight! I hope it's just a light dusting. After last January/February and the 36 inches of it on my balcony, I'm just not mentally ready for it.

   It's a conspiracy, I tell ya! A conspiracy!!!

There is some greater power out there that has decided that I don't need to sleep! After watching Wolf's Rain last night, I went to bed. (Yay! I can see how it started out. I gave up after that 'cause I don't really care for Witch Hunter Robin.) So... there I am.... laying in bed trying to sleep.... and my lungs decide it would be fun to keep me awake until 2:00 coughing!!! And the crazy lady downstairs had her TV on loud enough for me to hear it in my bedroom! (I think she's got a TV in her bedroom, but I shouldn't be able to hear what she's watching!)

So my day got off to a late start. I did manage to get off my arse & go to the library around 3 this afternoon. I almost fell asleep in the history section! It was warm up there.

It's now time to hit sites. Wheeee!
